Hi! Here is an update, which is loooong overdue, I own nothing!
Lily knocked on the door of Professor McGonagall's office. She was worried, Olivia and Jet had been missing all evening. Her and Hugo had waited up for them, but when no-one entered the common room by midnight, they knew something was wrong.
As she waited, she heard voices down the corridor.
"Cedric, they've gone missing!"
"What do you want me to do about it?"
"You-are-a-ghost-and-vampire. You should know!" Lavender sounded on the verge of tears. "If Fred finds out I let the two most powerful ones get taken, he'll kill me!"
"Okay, no need to get hysterical. We'll find them, don't worry."
Lily pressed herself against the wall as a sudden flash of light illuminated the corridor. When it dimmed, she saw Colin hovering next to them.
"Lavender, you should run. He just found out." Lavender gave a squeak of terror and turned to go, but a sudden streak of light shot down the corridor and Fred was standing in front of her.
"YOU IDIOT!" He yelled. Lily covered her ears from the amount of screaming and cursing coming from both her Uncle's and Lavender's mouths. Colin tried to get in between them, but Fred shoved him out of the way.
He summoned a ball of fire and threw it at the unfortunate Lavender's face. She dodged and sent a jet of water at him. Lily was shocked out of her skin when the door to Professor McGonagall's office opened and the woman looked at her sternly.
"What are you doing out of bed, young lady?"
Trembling, Lily pointed at the four ghosts who were now in a raging battle, Cedric and Lavender against Fred and Colin.
"Ask them."
"So, you mean to tell me that two first years have gone missing." The headmistresses nostrils flared. "How did you let this happen?" She glared at the ghosts. Fred was still simmering with rage, flames dancing through his hair.
"We don't know anything." He said stiffly.
"I see." She turned to Lily. "Go to bed my dear. Don't tell anyone of what you have heard tonight, except your cousin, Mr Weasley. Understood?"
"Yes, Professor."
"You may go."
Lily fled, thoughts racing. Jet and Olivia had been captured, but by what? She skidded to a halt in front of the Fat Lady and hurriedly mumbled the password. She clambered in, raced over to Hugo who had fallen asleep and slapped him to wake him up.
"OW!"
"Shut up." She spoke the details quickly, before sleep could overwhelm her. Then she keeled straight over and started snoring on the floor.
Her cousin looked at her in amusement, then dragged her into a chair and draped his cloak around her.
"Night, then." He flopped into his own armchair and fell asleep.
It was common knowledge by now that Olivia and Jet had been taken. Lily was watching Cedric suspiciously. Lavender had called him a vampire-ghost. Fred had said he was sparkling. Lily took her books from her trunk and sorted through them until she came to a specific one. Twilight.
She had read it before, but it wasn't really her thing. She sighed and resigned herself to reading the evening away. If it helped her understand what he was, then it could help them.
Hugo was sitting in the common room staring into a glass of water. He was holding a picture of Jet clearly in his mind and was attempting to scry for his friend. Hugo sighed when nothing showed up. He'd only succeeded with it twice before in his life. Once when he had gotten lost on a school trip, and once when Rose had hidden his stuff.
Just as he was about to give up, an image rippled across the surface. He stared at it in amazement as is zoomed in on an old, old house. It zoomed in on a few bars at the back of the house, that were at the top of a cellar. It zoomed inside. There was an empty room. A couple of chains hung from one of the walls, but there was nothing else.
Hugo sighed in frustration. All that work, for nothing? There were footsteps on the stairs. Lily stumbled down, eyes puffy from reading.
"Why didn't you wear your glasses?" Hugo asked, shaking his head. She glared at him, before replying:
"Vampires are strange, strange creatures."
This has a little bit of twilight thrown in, but isn't exactly a cross-over. It has been a long, long, time since I read Twilight, so there will only be hints of it.
Please Review! I will attempt to update sooner!
