Hello! This is the last chapter in 'The Memories of Frost and Love' I'm sorry, I realize that I haven't updated in a LONG while, but I'd thought I'd finish it, I don't want this story to be one of the many others that were abandoned by their owners.
A further sidenote: Be prepared for a lot of fluff in this chapter.(seriously)
The wedding simply put was fantastic. Once Jack and Emmeline got their jaws of the floor after seeing each other in their wedding outfits that is. Jack thought that Emmeline looked like an angel and Emmeline thought that Jack was simply fabulous.
Jack fidgeted at the altar, he was nervous; this was his wedding day.
" North?"
"Ja? Vhat is wrong?" North said.
"I-I, will I be okay for Emmeine? I-I mean that-."Jack stuttered.
"Ah, Jack you vill be fine, no? Now da wedding is starting."
Jack turned and saw that Emmeline was being led down the aisle by Bunnymund as North was the priest. Emmeline floated down the aisle, she couldn't believe that this day had come. When she reached the altar North started the marriage vows, but for Jack and Emmeline the word were lost upon them so lost were they in gazing on each other.
Finally North said "Do you Jack Frost take Emmeline as your lawfully wedded wife to have and to hold, from this day forward, for better, for worse, for richer, for poorer, in sickness and in health, until death do you part?"
Jack knew the answer as he gazed as Emmeline: "I, Jack Frost, take you, Emmeline, to be my lawfully wedded wife, to have and to hold, from this day forward, for better, for worse, for richer, for poorer, in sickness and in health, until death do us part."
Then North turned to Emmeline, "Do you Emmeline, take Jack Frost as your lawfully wedded husband, to have and to hold, from this day forward, for better, for worse, for richer, for poorer, in sickness and in health, until death do you part?"
Quick as ever, Emmeline said "I, Emmeline, take you, Jack Frost, to be my lawfully wedded husband, to have and to hold, from this day forward, for better, for worse, for richer, for poorer, in sickness and in health, until death do us part."
"Then you have declared your consent to be married. And you can kiss the bride."
Jack leaned over to Emmeline and kissed her. Simple as that.
Well, not really, Emmeline and Jack thought that they were in paradise when their lips touched and Tooth had to cal their names several times to ring them out of their kiss.
After that it was pretty simple, North Bunny Tooth and the Sandman carefully ate North's cookies while watching Jack and Emmeline stared into each others eyes dreamily as newly weds were want to do. After a while they cut the cake and passed them out.
They all looked dubiously at the cake, North was not known for his excellent cakes, quite he opposite really, so nobody was surprised when Bunny commented that he would rather let Jack bring a blizzard every Easter than eat North's cakes.
North had only laughed at that, "No no no, is cake from cake store, yes? Is good to eat."
Everyone had visibly sighed at that, store bought cakes were always good, especially when compared to North's.
Jack and Emmeline got handed a plastic knife by North, "The bride and groom must always cut the cake first."
Slowly, carefully, they cut a slice of cake, they put it on a plate. Then they started to eat it. Together. As they always should have been.
The shadow watched as they started the festivities, so, it thought, Frost has a weakness. It must report this to the Master.
And so ends 'The Memories of Frost and Love'
I must say, it has been great writing this, even though with the long hiatuses in between, I can say that this story is finished. Finite.
