Clary POV
"You know that we really can't keep this up anymore? One of these days, one of us is going to get a boyfriend or girlfriend. I don't think that either one of them will be very happy if they find out that we are cuddling behind the scenes." I said blatantly over the dining table while we were eating breakfast.
"I was hoping that you wouldn't say that because you happen to make an amazing pillow and cuddle buddy." He said while looking down at his bowl of cereal.
"What happens if one of us gets a boyfriend or a girlfriend? Do you honestly think that they are going to respect the fact that we are cuddling with each other when they can't?"
"Well, I don't see myself getting into a relationship anytime soon. I'm not the relationship type of guy. If I did, then the girl wouldn't really care." The crushed my heart a bit, he did even want a relationship.
"Well, we have to stop. So if you will please excuse me, I going to school now. Don't wait up for me." I grabbed my bag from the back of my chair and stormed out of the dorm. He tried to sick his arm out to stop me, but I dodged him. I was done with it.
Jace POV
I fucked this up more than I could ever think that I ever could. How could I of been such a dickhead to her. I can't use the whole used to rejecting girls all the time excuse. She was the one that was really rejecting me.
For the first time in my like, someone was actually rejecting me. I pulled out my phone and found the one girl that I hoped that wouldn't reject me right now.
"Hey, Kaelie. Skip school today and bring and extra set of clothes over to my room. I have a feeling that you will need... yeah, I want you back. You were right. I will see you in 5 minutes." I hung up on her. I don't really know what I was doing.
