Jace POV
Let's just say that is a bit different living with Clary now than what it was when we weren't dating. Yes, just to clear that up, we are dating started. We started dating the day after the dance. But you are all getting me off topic. We have this really weird thing in the morning were I can't see her until twenty minutes after both of us are woken up. I assume it is so that she can put on her makeup, but I really don't know.
And she doesn't go straight to my bed at the end of the day. She will attract to fall asleep in her bed, then walk over to mine to cuddle with me. I have tried to reason with it to her before, but she just refuses to change that. And another thing, she will not under any circumstances, let me give her a kiss on the mouth. You would think that she would be begging for kisses, but no. I only get cuddles and hugs. You would think that I could get simple as a kiss, but I couldn't even after three weeks.
I did still make her breakfast in the morning while she was getting ready for the day. In return, she would have dinner ready for me when I got home from practice. We had settled into our nice little patterns and it worked for us. Others, mainly my sister, thought that it was a sign that we were designed for each other forever. Honestly, Clary was an awesome person, but that was up to her.
"Jace, you did manage to get out of practice tonight, didn't you? Remember we have the whole double date with Max and Samantha." Clary said walking into the kitchen. Her curls always seemed to defy gravity with their tightness sometimes.
"Yeah I did, but I have to stay later on Monday to repay that. Hope that is okay with you." I said while handing her a plate of pancakes and strawberries, her favorite.
"That's fine; I will probably just be working on homework for the extra hour. Do you think that you are going to want extra dinner?" She asked curiosity.
"Probably, if that isn't too much to ask. And Monday is spaghetti night, so I guess it shouldn't be all that hard to make a little more than usual." It was just adding more noodles to the water.
"No, not at all. And this coming Sunday is grocery day, are you coming with me or are you going to make a list of what you want?" She said with her mouth full of pancakes, adorable.
"Of course I'm going to hang out with my girlfriend at any chance that I can get, even if I already live with her." "You are a hopeless romantic, Jace Lightwood. I don't see how you haven't swept a girl off her feet yet."
"Because I was waiting on you, sweetheart." I said sweetly causing her to create the famous blush that I loved.
"I bought the tickets last night so you are responsible for buying snacks. I would suggest limiting those kids to about one sugary thing each because I'm bot dealing with rambunctious children at the movie house."
"Movie house? What in the world is a movie house, is where all the little movie mice go and watch their movies together?"
"Okay, no reason to patronize me on how I say certain things. You can motorcycles bikes. I'm pretty that bikes are the ones that you have to pedal." She teased back at me.
"But bike just sounds badass and motorcycle just had to may syllables in it. Takes up too much time that I could use for something else."
"What are you going caveman on me know?"
"Me Jace you Clary. Clary smell good." I said roughly grabbing her hips towards me.
"And I have completely lost him now. Now finish getting ready or we aren't going to make it to school. And please no caveman at school." She said sticking her lower lip out at me.
"Me no promise. Give me ten minutes then we can get going." I released her hips and walked into the bathroom to get dress and sweep my hair to the side correctly. Once I did that, I looked like my normal Greek god self.
"One of these days you are going to stop looking this perfect all of the time." She said on our way to the first class of the day. "Never going happen babe." She cocked at eyebrow at me.
"Yeah you are my babe now and there is nothing you can never do about it."
Out of the faintest whispers I could of sworn I heard someone whisper behind me "She might not, but I might be able to." It was probably just thing my brain made up for a stupid reason.
Hi everyone. I know that it is short but I really need that little end piece for the story and I can't go on because next chapter has to have its certain thing. If you hate me I'm sorry, but it is how it is. Love you my little minions, byes.
