When he had reached the mound of cats, He darted in between Cloudtail and Lionblaze, snagging a fat shrew between his jaws. He padded in front of the medicine den, and laid down to eat.
"The was horrible," Lionblaze moaned, coming over to Jayfeather, Cinderheart by his side. Jayfeather scowled.
"No kidding!" He hissed.
"Calm down," Cinderheart mewed. Jayfeather moodily ate his food. Then llunch was over, the shiny cat reappeared and they had to read again.
