Chapter 5 Misunderstanding and explanation
Yuugi's POV
"You!"
I was kind of surprised when I saw this scared little girl behind the door. I got afraid that she might off heard what we were talking about.
I had asked my other self if he could help me bake a cake and kill the spider that was inside the jar.
He had then told me that I had to put in flour if it would be a cake and that he would first kill the spider if I now was too afraid to do it myself. Then we could continue with the butter and so on. (Since when can Yami bake cakes?)
I had said that he should kill the spider quickly and that we needed to find a cherry (A cake is nothing without a cherry ^^).
He had then asked where to find that and I said "maybe here". I was referring to the door which I thought was a larder. But instead I found this girl. So far as I now Agasa doesn't have any grandchildren.
"Who are you?" The little girl asked in a serious voice. She sounded very adult for her age, nothing like a 6-7 year old kid.
I opened my mouth to say something but the girl interrupted me.
"I'm sure you are friends with Edogawa-kun, why are you here and why haven't he told me about you?"
Everything started spinning in my head. Who's Edogawa-kun? No one I now. The only Edogawa I now about is Edogawa Rampo, he is a mystery author I think.
"No, I'm a friend to the professor" I said putting my arms behind my head.
"Really? So why haven't I heard about you, the professor's friend?" The girl asked in a cold voice which made me back a few steps.
"How should I now?" I asked sweat dropping. This girl is creeping me out! Who is she?
"I don't think you are the professor's friend" The Girl said in a cold creepy voice as she approached me.
"Aibou what's happening?" mou hitori no boku suddenly asked. The curly haired girl eyed him with a hint of fear.
"Two of you?" She stuttered. "I don't know who you are but I want you out of this house in less than 10 seconds or…"
"Or what?" Mou hitori no boku asked in a calm voice.
"You don't want to know" The strawberry haired girl snarled.
Mou hitori no boku shrugged and went closer to her. "Me and aibou are not burglars little girl. We have a reason to be here and I don't know if I should tell you because you might be put in danger"
The girl got shocked eyes. "APTX4869, desu"
"You know about the pill?" I exclaimed. The girl nodded.
"I created the pill"
"You what?" I screamed. "How can that be possible? You are just a kid!"
"And so are you" She said in a cold voice.
My other self eyed her with mad eyes "Why did you do such a thing? Are you one of them?"
The girl sighed. "I was but I escaped. It's a long story, but first I want to know more about you two"
"Sure" I said not thinking. "My name is Yuugi Muto and I am a high school student from Domino city"
The girl nodded and turned to my other self. "I presume that you are his twin?"
Mou hitori no boku shook his head not taking his eyes from the girl's.
"No I'm an ancient pharaoh that once lived in Egypt. 4000 years ago I saved the earth from destruction but I had to pay a price for it. My soul got incarcerated in this golden puzzle and I have been living inside Yuugi's mind ever since he solved the puzzle"
The room was quiet for three minutes. Finally the girl opened her mouth to say something.
"You actually think that I would believe that? Only a crazy person would believe that nonsense"
I sighed and scratched my head. So I'm crazy now according to this girl?
"I didn't think you would believe me either, but that's the truth" My other self said in a calm voice.
"Really? Can you prove it?" She smirked.
Mou hitori no boku suddenly nodded.
"Yes I can prove it. Aibou and I should have the same fingerprints and DNA. You can always test it"
The girl rolled her eyes "Sure but don't think I'll believe you"
