Once, he would everyday stroke his hair, and smiled tenderly to him.

Every day, every time he fought for him.

Every smile, hiding every inch of pain.

Once.

A man with a tall and broad figure stood there, holding a basketball ball on his left hand, while his right hand rested there in his pocket. He was wearing a white shirt, his sleeves curled up to his arms, black pants and blue colored Nike shoes.

His hair was messy, dark brown with some orange highlights. His eyes were sharp and hazel.

"Yo." That deep voice of his greeted. He grinned, and poked his forehead. "Sorry about it."

It was already evening when Kuroko woke up. He looked over his side, only to realize that beside him was the one and only, Akashi Seijuro. His aquamarine eyes blinked, confused. Why was he here? Before he knew it, those scarlet eyes opened slowly, and Akashi looked at him straight in the eye.

Akashi straightened himself up, and stretched a little, while asking of the boy's condition. "Are you okay now?" His answer was a nod. "You passed out in the class today. The nurse was away so we treated you."

".. Excuse me, but we?" Kuroko was far beyond understanding.

"Ah. Midorima, Aomine, and a boy named Ogiwara. I asked them to go home first and let me wait for you, it was a little hard persuading that Ogiwara person though." He chuckled. "Is he your friend?"

Kuroko could only nod.

The taller one sighed. "I'm sure you are wondering why, a person you never met before is helping you out."

"Well, because you're interesting." A smirk came by. Akashi leaned to the bed more. "You know something," His gaze lingered. "Something, maybe the future holds."

He thought, for a second his heart stopped.

Ogiwara was worried.

"Hey, I know you're worried." Aomine sighed. "But that Akashi person looks reliable. So don't worry, okay?"

"I don't know him though.. Entrusting my friend to such stranger is a bit.." Ogiwara commented, looking at Aomine. He scratched the back of his head, "Urghh."

Midorima glanced at them, he fixed his glasses, then sighed. "If you're worried, then just go back there, fool." There was a pause. "But I know that guy, he's the heir of the famous Akashi Corporation." Their eyes widened, so a famous person had been right there in their eyes? Unbelievable. "I'll go home now, go back if you're that worried. He is your friend, afterall."

His brown eyes sparkled, and gave out a grin. "I just remembered I forgot something there! See you, guys!" Ogiwara's figure soon went to the school again, when he finally was out of sight, Aomine looked at the retreating figure.

"What's with that.. He looks really happy, being called friends with that guy. Aren't they friends?"

Midorima was silent. ".. It's not my problem."

"Keh, who are you anyway?"

"If you really want to know, my name is Midorima Shintaro. I'm a cancer." He looked straight into Aomine's eyes. "Your sign is?

"Hah?! And what's that gotta do with this?"Aomine remarked, twitching his eyes. "Tch, I'm Aomine Daiki, my sign is Virgo.."

"Hm." Midorima turned his back on him, not saying another word. He ignored Aomine's continued mumbles. So loud..

The room was silent as hill, without no movements from the two boys. Scarlet eyes continued to gaze at the aquamarine blue eyes. With Akashi close, the fast beating heart of Kuroko could almost be heard by his ears.

Akashi-kun... He couldn't hide his shock, how did Akashi even know?

Stopping the continuing silence, Akashi released an amused chuckle. ".. that was something the movies always use." He leaned back to the chair, crossing his arms. "Well, Kuroko-kun, I think you're healthy as ever, you should go home—"

BAM!

The door opened with such a loud sound, and revealed Ogiwara trying to catch up his breath."Tetsuya!" He said as he spotted his friend, sitting on the bed.

"Ogiwara-kun?" Kuroko blinked, "I thought you went home already.."

"Well, I had something I forgot! Might as well go home with you too!" He laughed, scratching the back of his neck. "Let's go home!"

"Okay.." Kuroko mumbled. "Let me pack my things then." He paid a glance to Akashi, "Akashi-kun, thank you for treating me." He bowed to show his gratitude.

Akashi smiled and brushed it off. "Oh no, it's alright. If you do want to thank me though, you have to do something for me next time." He smirked. "I'm just joking. See you next time."

"So, so Kuroko, are you really alright now?"

"Yes, don't worry about me, Ogiwara-kun."

Ogiwara stared at Kuroko with a worried expression. "Really? I don't believe you. What happened with that guy?"

The shorter one blinked, scratching the back of his neck. "Maybe so."

"What did he tell you?" He shook his friend with worry.

Kuroko looked uncertain, how can he just tell his friend that he came from the future? And a different one too. How would he react?

"Woah! COOL! You're from the future? Erh how's it there? How did you came here? – oh wait we need to find a way for you to come back right?—"

No.

That's just beyond a miracle to happen, although Ogiwara's personality matches.

"Huh? Erh, Kuroko are you still sick?"

Hmm. Most expected answer.

"KUROKO YOU NEED TO GO TO THE HOSPITAL RIGHT NOW!"

...

No that would just make the situation worse. Kuroko sweat dropped. "It's nothing, Ogiwara-kun. He just shocked me, that's all."

"Oh, is that really all?"

Gaining a nod as an answer, Ogiwara shut his mouth.

"We better go home fast before the sun sets." Kuroko said, staring at the setting sun. "It'll be dangerous to walk in the night—Ogiwara-kun?"

His mature dark hazel eyes stared eye to eye with the aquamarine ones.

The aquamarine eyes widen abruptly, the once again shock entered.

The one he was facing wasn't the 14 year old Ogiwara... but a man who looked like an older version of him, wearing a suit formally, not very much like his style. His chin has matured, a slight sight of beard on it, his skin was darker, his eyes were much more serious looking, and small.

The same headache as before attacked Kuroko once again, he hold his head, holding the pain. "..You're the man.. from my.. dream."

A slight smile entered the man's face. "Nice to see that you remembered, even though it's a dream."

"Who are you?"

"I am no one of your concern." He looked at the sideways. "However our time here has finished, someone figured it out with quite speed. That manipulating emperor.."

Kuroko raised one eyebrow, "emperor...you mean,Akashi—"

"ssh." The man put a finger on Kuroko's forehead, pushing it with a little force. "Sorry about this, but it can't be helped." He smiled up all the way to his cheeks.

Fake.

"I am an egoistic person afterall."

The moment he woke up, he found himself in a very uncomforting position. Being carried by a man wasn't the best moments.

"Ah, Kuroko-cchi!" The energetic voice greeted him with a melodic tone. "You're okay!"

Kuroko could only be silent, holding the shock all by himself.

Before him was a Kise with combed silky hair, like a model, with black sunglasses and fancy clothes, a sight he only saw in the magazines Kise always brought and showed off to the team members. It was a white tight pants with a chain on the pocket, a pink shirt, with his sleeves curled up and a grey scarf hanging on his neck.

"Kise-chin, Kuro-chin's awake?" asked Murasakibara, lazily entering Kuroko's field of vision. He looked taller (as he could be more taller), his clothes consisted of a loose dark purple shirt, and white pants. He covered his big body with a black cashmere.

Soon the Generation of Miracles gathered there, aquamarine eyes widened.

What's happening—Kuroko could only think that, while the others chatted.

"It's a relief that you're okay, " said Momoi, she was wearing a white ruffly shirt with a brown vest, and a purple miniskirt, her hair was tied into a braid. "Tetsu-kun, you suddenly passed out like that. Geez, you didn't eat much, right?" She pouted.

"Baka. Eat while you have food and still alive. "Midorima rolled his eyes, fixing his glasses. He was wearing his usual glasses, and a brown hat. He was wearing green and black striped shirt and black pants.

Aomine was wearing a blue ripped of jeans and a simple white shirt with a jacket. "Uh huh, believe that horoscope freak for once, Tetsu."

Akashi chuckled, "Well well, calm down." The red head was wearing a black and white patterned shirt, and caprice pants with the shades of grey, black and white. "Our sleeping beauty has awaken. We should go now." He smirked teasingly.

Sleeping beauty—Kuroko ticked. Wait, where am i? I was with that man- .. and I woke up here.. and they..Kuroko looked at them. Don't look like middle school-ers—no, even they don't look like high school-ers.

Is it another time-skip, or what...? And Kuroko was left in wonder.
