"Is she going to be ok?" Bumblestripe asked Jayfeather for the a millionth time that day.
"No she won't if she keeps on hearing your voice asking "Is she going to be ok? " all day long. And of corse she is going to be ok! I'm helping her! Now get out of my fur!" Jayfeather imitated Bumblestripe's voice so well that even Briarheart stifled a laugh, while Bumblestripe felt insulted.
Suddenly Bramblestar walked in and meowed,"I see that Dovewing has many visitors today" He pointed to the big pile of flowers that the apprentices and kits made to help Dovewing. ( This reminds me of a get well basket. XD ) "How is she doing?"
"Well now both of you get out of my fur!" Jayfeather snapped loudly.
"Ha choo!"
All four heads turned to the noice and found themselves looking at Dovewing with a feather on her nose.
"Ha choo!" Dovewing opened her eyes and saw many pairs of eyes staring at her. "What did I do? It wasn't me I swear in StarClan's name! It was Squirellflight who put those fire ants in his nest!"
"WHO PUT THESE FIRE ANTS IN MY NEST!?" Berrynose scream nearly blinded the the ThunderClan leader's ears.
"He he. Never mind. " She said while looking away. Then she glanced at the cats in front of her and she nodded to all the cats except Bumblestripe. "Umm. Bramblestar. Who is this cat? Is he joining ThunderClan? Was he a kitty pet like Firestar?Wait actually he doesn't even smell like on and he doesn't have a collar. Eh? Why does he smell like ThunderClan?"
"Dovewing. Don't you remember? This is Bumblestripe. Remember?" Asked Jayfeather while giving some weird looks at her.
"Nope!" Dovewing said quickly and gazed at Bumblestripe and asked," Who are you?"
Bramblestar looked at Dovewing flabbergasted and gave Jayfeather another questioning look and sighed deeply. "She probably has amnesia."
"Do you think she will be well enough to start being a warrior again?"
"Yes she will be but I suggest a few more sunrises of rest to be sure." Jayfeather nodded to the leader and sighed. "She might be able to regain her memories of Bumblestripe though."
For the next couple of days the senior warriors closely watched over Dovewing and Bramblestar questioned Ivyfire about the battle. She had "honestly" answered with she "didn't" know. One moment they were battling the next thing she noticed was that Dovewing had fallen over unconscious.
Bumblestripe moped around for the next few days as Dovewing started to come back to her warrior lifestyle. She began with lessons with the apprentices and the apprentices liked her a lot as all her advices were proofed correct and earned them many praises from their mentors. They also warmed up to the warrior as she was always happy and cheerful.
Soon she was back on patrol and was happily a proud ThunderClan warrior. Those reasons though still didn't erase in every cats mind of her forgetting Bumblestripe. Her battle with Ivyfire however was quickly forgotten as the days creeped nearer to the Gathering.
Ivyfire however was doing the best to get close to Bumblestripe without looking suspicious. But after every attempted try failed, she decided that if Bumblestripe can't be hers, he can't be any cats!
