She probably was crazy, she reflected, as she found herself walking out of Chen's grocery store on a Thursday, her necessities in her back-pack.
Well, necessities and, uhm, a few other things.
Namely two bars of chocolate (well, four, but two of them classed as necessities to her). Two bars of chocolate that weren't for her, the singleton female farmer. Two bars of chocolate that went towards her chosen cause, one on Monday and the other on Tuesday.
Truthfully, she hadn't intended for this to become a thing but then she'd found out that the cute-if-grumpy cowboy that showed up at Mirabelle's every week liked chocolate more than anyone she'd ever encountered (well, his favourite was porridge but she hadn't quite perfected that yet) and then there she was, buying bars of the stuff every week to present to him in some laughable bid to maybe get him to like her.
It wasn't even like she achieved much; he was a man of few words (and she didn't really hang around him afterwards because her blush gave everything away) so his reactions never really differed…And yet she carried on buying the chocolate, same time, same place. Every. Darn. Week.
Totally insane.
And yet this week, when he said thank you and smiled a little and tried to hide his face by pulling his hat down, she felt like her insanity paid off just a tad, and maybe (definitely) she should carry on just a little longer.
Just in case.

i've been told to relax by my friends and family (i have a couple of tests tomorrow to determine if i am fit to do the uni course i want to do) and so i figured writing for one of my favourite couples classed as relaxing.
i found the quote when I was looking for writing prompts and as much as i'm trying to write for other couples in HM, it seemed perfect for this scenario…all of us that court Vaughn are a little crazy, right?
anyhow, please review, i intend to write again soon when things at school settle so i'd like to see how I'm doing!
