Chapter 13- Christmas

Lexi's P.O.V
A few months have gone by and a lot has happened. We finally moved into our house and the kids seem to be happier now. Loraine seems to like high school and she is best friends with Logan's daughter Deanna. Arianna's been doing really well in school and she made a lot of new friends and Jordan is doing well too and he is always hanging out with Carlos's sons and Deanna. As for me and James I started working at my cousin's bridal shop where I am getting my wedding dress from there. James is now working with his mom at her cosmetics firm as her assistant. James and I decided that Valentine 's Day would be perfect for our wedding date and our theme is a fairy tale ending. My dress is a ball gown maternity dress and it flows elegantly. My bump is growing and now I can barely see my feet and toes. Were having the wedding here because I am unable to fly so it's going to be indoors. I decided to let Ari and Loraine be my maids of honor and Camille, Jo, Rachel and my half sisters are going to be my bride's maids. My half brother is walking me down the aisle along with my mom as in memory of my dad. The girl's dresses are knee length dresses with over the shoulder straps and the color is Caribbean blue. I feel so stress free because everything is done for the wedding and I just can't wait for the day to come.
~Christmas eve~
I finally finished cooking the food for our first Christmas party in our new home. James and the kids finished decorating the house and we all decorated the house together. James surprised all of us with beautiful ornaments he ordered online with each of our names on them. He then surprised me with blue and pink bootie ornaments with the twin's names on them. Kaylee Addison and Blake Adam. Soon everyone arrived and was having a great time. James and the guys were in the kitchen talking about hockey and work. "Lexi how's your pregnancy going", Camille asked as she sat down next to me. I smiled as I put my hand on my bump. "I defiantly feel at peace and James has been nothing but amazing and so are the kids", I replied with a chuckle. Then we talked about the wedding and then James handed me my gift which is a big picture frame of each of the kids and in the middle he put the sonogram photo of the twins. I smiled and looked up at James. "I love it James it means a lot to me", I said kissing his cheek. He smiled and hugged me and whispered in my ear. "I love you too and thank you for letting me be a father to our children and to our new additions", he said as he kissed my lips gently. "come on guys save that for your wedding", Carlos shouted jokingly and we all laughed.
~Christmas day~
James's P.O.V
Next morning we all woke up early to open gifts. I got Loraine and Arianna charm bracelets and for Jordan I got him tickets to a hockey game for him and his friends or his girlfriend. Lexi got me a new camera and a new computer printer for my office at the cosmetic's firm. After we open our gifts we all took a family photo and then got ready to go to Lexi's moms house for dinner and see her family. Lexi was talking about the twins and the wedding which everyone is really excited about it and her uncle's told a lot of funny stories and jokes. After dinner when everyone went into the living room Lexi started complaining that the twins were kicking harder right now so I sat with her and talked to the baby's and soon they quieted down. Soon everyone had left so Lexi and I helped her mom clean up the house. "So have you decided on whose walking u down the aisle yet", she asked as Lexi and I did the dishes. "You and Michael are mom" Lexi said with a smile and her mom smiled and agreed.
Later that night I was still wide wake in bed thinking about how I can't wait in just two months I'll be married to my first love who also is my best friend who means the world to me. I smiled and then rested my arm around Lexi holding her close and soon I was fast asleep.
