Chapter 15- Wedding day (part 2)
Lexi's P.O.V
Today is finally here! I'm not as nervous as I thought I was going to be. I smiled when I looked at myself in the mirror and I just felt like a real princess in my dress and my hair is up in a French braid bun. My makeup is light but elegant. "You look amazing Lex", Camille said as she and the other braids maids came into the room I was in. I smiled and handed each girl there bouquet of flowers and hugged them trying my best not to cry and ruin my makeup. Loraine and Arianna look so beautiful.
Soon the music started and my mom and Mike came to get. I smiled watching all the girls as they walked out and walked down the aisle I caught glimpse of James and he looked so at peace and happy. Soon the music changed and I walked out feeling all eyes on me especially from my Family and James and his family and all our friends.
James's P.O.V
As I stand here watching Lexi walk towards me I felt myself tear up and when she finally took my hand in hers. She carefully whipped my cheeks and the minister opened with a speech about how wonderful it is when you found the person who you want to share your life with and that's exactly how I feel about Lexi and I know she feels the same way.
Then after a few minutes the minister announced that Lexi and I had written our own vows and I smiled when he asked me to recite my vows. "Lex I know we had a lot of happy times and bad times but through them all we always found a way to get through them together. Every day that I spend with you I fall more and more in love with you. Our kids are very lucky to have you for their mother and I want you to know that I love you so much", I smiled as Lexi whipped her eyes and cleared her throat and began her vows. "James I have always loved you even at times when I'm mad at you which are not very often. You are amazing and my best friend and you are always there for me when I need you and you are a wonderful dad to our kids", Lexi said as she whipped my tears again.
After we said our vows and exchanged our rings the minister said a few more things and he smiled. "James and Lexi I pronounce you husband and wife. James you may kiss the bride" he announced as I happily kissed Lexi and everyone cheered and Lexi and I walked down the aisle together.
Lexi's P.O.V
The reception was a total blast. During the bride and groom dance the twins started kicking and James smiled. "I love you Mrs. Diamond", James whispered in my ear. I smiled wide and pecked his lips twice. "I love you too Mr. Diamond", I replied happily. The rest of the night was perfect and when I threw my flowers Loraine caught them and everyone was laughing. Later after the wedding James and I went home and the kids are staying over at Brookes so James and I can have some alone time since we didn't plan a honeymoon. James surprised me when we walked into the twin's room all the furniture and paint was done and the clothes were hanging up. I smiled and hugged him tightly. As we went to bed the twins were kicking again so James sang to them as he normally does at night if there kicking and soon they settled down and I lay down on the bed and James wrapped his arms around me and soon we feel asleep happily.
