I'm back again! ^_^ Enjoy this chapter, where Sheng Zai Shili shows up once again!
"Yeah, baby! We're back in China, and this time, we're going to kick some serious Chinese bey butt!" Ren and Isamu exclaimed as they stepped off the plane in the Beijing airport.
"Well, congratulations on reaching us again." Da Xiang said, coming up behind the group with Aguma and Sheng Zai Shili.
"Good job on making it this far in the tournament." Madoka complimented.
Da Xiang grinned. "Well, fancy meeting you here. I wasn't expecting you, Madoka, Benkei."
Madoka laughed. "Well, we just had to check out a few things with Galaxy Flame after Maru sent us some videos of Arashi doing unusual things in battle."
"Unusual things?" Aguma raised an eyebrow at Arashi, who closed his eyes and smirked.
"I'll save them for the tournament later." the bluenette said after a few moments of silence.
"Well, i believe that we have that tournament match to get to right away, so let's head out." Da Xiang said, taking a few of Galaxy Flame's bags and heading for the car.
"Ladies and gentlemen! Welcome to the semifinals of the Beyblade World Championships!"
The crowd cheered as DJ began speaking.
"In this match, we have the team that won their block, our very own Sheng Zai Shili, and they will be taking on the very team that they sent to the Wild Card matches! That's right, ladies and gentlemen, Galaxy Flame has fought their way back up from defeat, and have succeeded in gaining the Wild Card spot so that they can battle Sheng Zai Shili one more time! The only question to be settled here is this: Will Sheng Zai Shili again claim victory, proving that they are the superior team, or will Galaxy Flame rise out of the ashes of their own defeat and take the win? Let's find out, as the first two bladers step up to the stadium!"
The crowd cheered as Ren and Shinobu stepped up to the stadium, confidence shining out of their eyes as they stared down Luna and Aurora.
"Ladies and gentlemen, it looks like the two teams have already agreed to a tag-team battle! As you know, if even just one of these four bladers is knocked out, then the other team takes the round! Please give it up to Aurora Glaciate and Luna Narazuka of Sheng Zai Shili, and their opponents, Shinobu Hiryuin and Ren Kurenai of Galaxy Flame! Ready? Three!"
"Two!"
"One!"
"Let it Rip!"
"Ren, you know what to do! We discussed this last night and on the way here!" Shinobu called the moment Salamander's performance tip had touched the ground.
"Right!" Ren replied.
"Salamander, Phantom Fire Shot!"
"Phoenix, Molten Wing!"
"Whoa! And Shinobu and Ren waste absolutely no time in breaking out their special moves! Looks like we're going to have an exciting match, as Galaxy Flame goes for the win off the launch!" DJ called.
"Aurora?" Luna snarled.
"Yeah, i've got it." Aurora said quietly.
"Eclipse, Wild Night!"
"Seraphim Angel, Purity Blade!"
"And Luna and Aurora counter with their own special moves! This is amazing!"
"Look out for that left rotation, guys! You know what to do!" Isamu called.
"Right!" Ren and Shinobu nodded.
"Phoenix!"
"Salamander!"
"Joint special move!"
"Wha- When in the world did they come up with that?!" Maru exclaimed.
"Salamander Phoenix Double Blazing Wing!"
"Fascinating." Madoka commented as the two fiery beys attacked from opposite sides, trying to break through Eclipse's wild attacks.
"Don't stop, Salamander!"
"Keep going, Phoenix!"
"Haiiiyah! Eclipse!"
"Angel!"
All four bladers yelled as their beys collided, special move with special move, blow for blow, as a huge cloud of dust filled the air.
"Gahh!"
"Look out!"
Isamu and Arashi ducked as two beys flew past them and became embedded in the wall.
"Ladies and gentlemen, with an explosion that destroyed the stadium, any bey still spinning is still in! But, are any of them still spinning after that exchange?" DJ asked.
"We have Phoenix and Eclipse over here!" Isamu called.
Ren and Luna sighed.
"Hey, it's a tie! Here are Salamander and Angel!" Sierra called from across the stadium.
"A tie?! You're kidding me!" Ren yelled. "After all that?!"
"As we had a tie, i'm going next to ensure a win for our team. Not that you couldn't, Garaitz. No offense, i hope?" Sierra said as she walked over to the stadium, Salamander in hand, returning the silver and orange bey to its owner.
"No, not at all. You are team leader, after all." Garaitz replied. "Good luck."
"Okay, i want a rematch. I'm going next!" Isamu called, jumping over the rail and running for the stadium before Arashi could stop him, returning Eclipse on his way.
"So, you and i get to battle again, huh? It will end the same way." Sierra said as Isamu raised the platform above the stadium to face her.
"No, it won't. Last time, i was distracted because i kept worrying about Arashi's injuries, and my head wasn't in the game. I wasn't using all of my power and skills because i was distracted. This time, i'll be the one to win." Isamu said confidently.
"Well then, you can try." Sierra replied, raising her launcher.
"Three!"
"Two!"
"One!"
"Let it Rip!"
"Go, Kerbecs!"
"Thunder Angel!"
"Kyahh!"
The two beys clashed head-on in the center of the stadium for a while before pulling away to circle each other warily. Isamu and Sierra stared each other down, sapphire blue eyes clashing with emerald green across the stadium for a few minutes.
"Angel, Lightning Assault!" Sierra called suddenly, as her bey darted to the center, spinning in a tight circle as cracks began to expand up the sides of the stadium.
Isamu gasped in surprise.
"Get away, Isamu!" Arashi called.
"Kerbecs, TriFlame Strike!"
"And once again, we have two powerful bladers exchanging their special moves! Sierra's Angel is spreading cracks up the side, while Isamu's Kerbecs circles rapidly around the stadium, and- whoa! Kerbecs has begun to force Angel up the side! However, the cracks are moving directly from Angel, so the question is, can Kerbecs knock Angel out before the cracks reach it?" DJ asked.
"It can, it has to." Isamu muttered, carefully watching as Angel was slowly dragged up the stadium towards the ring of red flames he was creating.
"Be careful, Isamu." Arashi muttered under his breath. "One wrong move, and you're finished."
Isamu growled as the cracks grew closer and closer to his bey's path.
"Come on… Just a little longer, Kerbecs…"
"I have you now!" Sierra called as her cracks finally reached Kerbecs.
Isamu growled. "No! It won't end here!"
Kerbecs abruptly stopped its circling and darted for Angel, which was caught off-balance after the resistance it had been pulling against faded.
"Kerbecs!" Isamu roared, as his bey slammed into Angel and sent it flying.
Sierra growled. "Angel, Thunder Attack!"
Angel quickly threw several bolts of energy at Kerbecs, causing an explosion as it fell through the pocket.
"Whoa…" Ren muttered.
"She tried to take Isamu down with her. Smart strategy, because if she could, then they'd have another tie instead of a loss." Shinobu commented.
"Very smart strategy." Arashi muttered.
"Whoa! Sierra attempts to take her opponent down with her, but did it work, or has Galaxy Flame taken the first win of the day?" DJ asked.
"Kerbecs!" Isamu exclaimed as he spotted his bey, trapped in a crack, but still spinning, while Sierra's lay motionless on the stadium floor.
"Wow… Okay, you were right. I guess you really are stronger." Sierra sighed as she picked up her bey.
"Nah, you're strong! I probably only won because i thought at the last second that i could dodge your cracks and get to your bey quickly! if i had gotten caught in those cracks, Kerbecs would have been a goner!" Isamu called, grinning as he caught his bey.
"Thank you, Isamu." Sierra smiled as she turned to leave the stadium.
"Ladies and gentlemen, we now stand at what is potentially the final battle for this match. If Galaxy Flame takes it, then they're home free, but if Sheng Zai Shili takes it, then we will be faced with a fourth match! Please give it up for the last two bladers on these two teams, Garaitz Villanueva del Ponte and Arashi Hikou!"
"You can do it, Garaitz! Win this one for us!" Sierra called as her teammate headed for the stadium.
"Arashi wasn't in the last encounter between these two teams because of his injuries. That means that Sheng Zai Shili doesn't know how he will battle, unless they've been watching the Wild Card." Madoka commented.
"We saw one or two of Arashi's battles earlier on, but then we were too busy with training and traveling to watch any more." Aguma said. "And he battled me when he was injured, although i cut the battle short due to his condition."
"Good call." Madoka muttered as Arashi and Garaitz launched.
"Let it Rip!"
"Go now, Chimera!"
"Valkyrius!"
"Chimera, Triple Storming Fire!"
"His second strongest move. Arashi's trying to end this quickly." Isamu commented.
"Then why doesn't he use the first strongest?" Da Xiang asked.
"It requires getting into the air, which takes a bit more effort."
"I see."
"Valkyrius, Dominant Judgment!"
A huge explosion rippled through the stadium, kicking up a huge dust cloud.
"Not done yet! Chimera, fly!" Arashi's voice called, as the dust swirled slightly before settling.
"That's the strange stuff we meant. His stamina-type Chimera shouldn't be able to move like that, not at that speed." Madoka explained.
"Where is Chimera? Has it flown right out of the stadium completely?" DJ asked.
Arashi smirked. "Yes, but not in the way you might think. Chimera! Constellation Tornado Strike!"
"Meet his attack, Valkyrius! Cross Line Judgment!" Garaitz called.
"He… Jumped… Out of the Zero-G stadium… jumped!" Da Xiang said in disbelief as the two special moves collided, causing a bigger explosion than the last to occur, ripping the stadium apart.
"You're good Garaitz, you're good. But, it's over." Arashi said as the dust faded to reveal Chimera circling a motionless Valkyrius.
The crowd was silent in shock.
"And, in a rapidfire battle that didn't last long, Galaxy Flame's Arashi takes the win! That puts the score at a tie and two wins for Galaxy Flame!" DJ announced.
"Arashi!" Isamu and Ren leapt over the rail separating them from the stadium and fairly flew towards the bluenette as he caught his bey out of the air.
"Guys, we'd better- Whoa!" Arashi was cut off as his two ecstatic teammates tackled him to the ground in excitement.
"We won! We beat Sheng Zai Shili!" Ren exclaimed.
"Yeah, now let's-" Arashi began, but Isamu cut him off.
"No, we are not going to train. We're going to go celebrate!" Isamu exclaimed as Shinobu walked over.
"Ladies and gentlemen, with Galaxy Flame's win, they have officially won the final round for this block. Now, they will return to Japan, where they will take on the winners of the other block:" DJ paused for a moment, as Galaxy Flame stood and tensed, their eyes locked on the screen behind the announcer.
"The final round of the Beyblade World Championships will be Galaxy Flame vs. Mortem Rio! This will be an intense battle that you won't want to miss!"
"We're training." Arashi said firmly.
"Yeah, good plan." Isamu said, looking slightly nervous.
"They can do it. They have to." Aguma said. "We should keep an eye on them though. Now that they've won the A-Block, they'll be targeted."
"You sound like Gingka." Madoka commented.
"He'll probably tell me that tonight if i see him, or he'll tell whoever he does see." Aguma replied.
"Yeah, true. They'll be fine though." Da Xiang said. "We'll even accompany you guys back to Japan, if you want."
"I'd like that, because as much as i trust Gingka, i don't have a clue what his plan is, and i don't know if he'll show up at the right time, since i don't know how Arashi's keeping in contact with him." Madoka said.
"Don't worry, Gingka will be able to strike at a moment's notice if needed." Aguma said.
"How do you- Right, Gingka's probably been keeping in contact with you." Madoka sighed.
Aguma nodded. "With all of the Legendary Bladers around the world who are involved in the tournament, actually."
"That's about half of them, from what i've heard. Galaxy Flame met one just about every time they met another team." Benkei said.
"Yeah, i think Chryasor was the only time they didn't." Madoka said.
"Met, you're correct. Saw? Not so much. There was a Legendary Blader standing in the shadows during the match with Chryasor." Arashi said, overhearing the conversation as he and the rest of Galaxy Flame disappeared into the hallway leading out of the stadium.
"Wait, there was?" the confused exclamation from Isamu and Ren echoed out of the hallway.
A final note to anyone who read 'Of Evil and Pranks.' For those of you who don't know, in that story, i announced that this week's update would be the last one on anything i would ever do, meaning i announced i was quitting Fanfiction. To the thirteen people who i know did read it, i apologize to twelve of you, mostly the four guest reviewers, but...
APRIL FOOLS!
Yeah, so it was kind of a mean prank to pull on you guys, and i couldn't PM all of my lovely guest reviewers back right away to tell you guys that it was a prank, but i felt like an evil mastermind or something every time i fooled another person, for a total of twelve. Kudos to Yami for fooling me into thinking i'd fooled him though. Anyway, to apologize for being mean, i'm doing a double update of Hikou Rising this weekend! Well, i'm partially doing it because it contains a major plot twist that i have been waiting to write and post since i first came up with the idea for this story, which was all the way back in late 2012, but it works good to make up for pranking you guys as well. XD Enjoy!
