AN: Sorry for the long wait, I've been really busy... Anyways, in this chapter Repunzel is 4 years old. I'm thinking of making her one year older for each chapter, which means in chapter 3 she will be 5. I also did two points of views in this one.

"Get back here you little rascal!" an angry voice called behind me.

I swiftly dodged several people who stud in the way, waving myself through the crowd, my satchel bounced up and down for every running step I made. The mass sheltered me from the fruit-stand manager's accusing stare, giving me time to disappear into the crowed.

Soon, however, I ended up in an open space, whereupon I looked over my shoulder, checking to see if he was following me without slowing down my pace. And that is when I collided into something – or should I say, someone. I fell forwards, shielding myself with my hands just milliseconds before my face hit the ground. At the same time my bag opened up and everything spilled out, rolling down the steep street that lead to a river.

"Ah! No! My apples!" I cried. I reached out to try and grab the last one before it disappeared into the water, but it was too quick for me, and the last of my food disappeared before my eyes. I stared in complete shock for a few seconds before facing the one who caused all this.

"Look at what you've done!" I bawled, but my anger instantly vanished when I realized who it was. Cute little green eyes stared back at me innocently. It's that little girl from last time… I thought. Re-Ri-Ra-Rapunzel, was it?

"Wait here!" She announced, and dashed off.

I didn't even have time to react that she was already off. What is she doing? I wondered, but waited nonetheless.

"Mama! Mama!" I ran towards my mother, when I got to her I pulled on her dress a few times. She looked down at me and smiled. "What is it, honey?" She asked.

"I want an apple." I said, still holding onto her dress.

"You have to say the magic words."

"Please!" I said.

"The proper way to ask is "May I have an apple, please?""

"May I have an apple, please?" I repeated. She took one from the basket of fruit we brought on our picnic and handed it to me, gently tapping my head a few times. "That's a good girl." Mama smiled.

I took the apple and ran back to the boy; he was still standing at the same place I left him.

"Here" I said when I arrived, holding out the apple for him. He moved to take the apple but I pulled back my hand before he could take it.

"You have to say the magic words." I explained.

"The magic words?" He asked, puzzled.

" 'May I have an apple, please?' "

He sighed and then repeated, "May I have an apple, please?" and when he said that I gave him the apple. I tried to reach out my hand to tap his head but he was too tall. He must have thought that I wanted to shake hands because he took my hand and shook it once. I used that moment to pull him down, and with my other hand gently tapped his head. "That's a good boy." I commented, smiling. He gave me a quizzical smile and stood up again.

Suddenly I heard a loud commotion and I turned my head towards the noise.

"Where is that little thief… ah, there he is!" A man was coming towards us, and he looked mean and angry, which scared me.

"Well, I guess one apple is better than none." I heard the boy say. I turned back towards him, but before I could say anything he turned to run, waving goodbye to me. "See ya!" And with that he disappeared from sight.
