Chapter 6: Me, Easter, and Mi amigos

~~~The next Day~~~
Minami Arrived at Fumizuki Academy, dreading the day that was ahead of her. Today was easter and the school was planning some sort of Easter egg hunt. As she made her way down the hallway she noticed some of the students from the other classes crowded around something that she was too tired to check out.
Minami proceeded to her classroom where "The gang" was sitting in a group circle wearing different colors with Hideyoshi and Yuuji wearing orange, Akihisa,Mizuki, and Kouta wearing blue. Minami approached the group and took a seat next to Kouta, who was sitting in his chair.
"What're you guys doing?"
"We were assigned teams for the Avatar Easter egg hunt. You're on Akihisa and Kouta's team." Hideyoshi said pointing to the two boys who were holding up and extra blue shirt.
"Did they explain the game yet?" Minami said taking off her jacket and putting the Shirt on over her school shirt.
"No, they're gonna' do that later" Yuuji said. Static filled the room and the P.A. on.
"ALL SECOND AND THIRD YEAR STUDENTS REPORT TO THE AVATAR EASTER EGG HUNT ARENA IMMEDIATELY!" shouted Iron man over the Microphone.
The gang left class F and walked together to the arena. It was the same arena used for the haunted house earlier that year, only it had been completely redecorated. Instead of it being dark and scary, it was bright and cheery with large flower bushes forming a gigantic. They all stood at various different openings and Iron man stood in the middle of it all.
"ALRIGHT STUDENTS! GET TO THE ENTRANCE OF THE MAZE THAT MATCHES YOUR COLORS!"He said pointing to several different flags that towered almost as high as the flower bushes.
"Oh, there's our flag!" Akihisa said leading Minami, Mizuki, and Kouta over to their team flag. Minami looked around and saw Yuuji, Shouko, Hideyoshi, and Yuko standing at the orange team's flag. While Minami was looking around she was tackled to the ground by a blur of orange and green.
"MY LOVE! IM SO SORRY WE'RE NOT O THE SAME TEAM. DON'T WORRY THOUGH I'LL MAKE SURE THAT THE FILTHY PIG DOESN'T LAY A HAND O YOU!" Miharu said hugging Minami.
"MIHARU! Get off, I already told you! I don't swim that way!" Minami Yelled shoving Miharu off of her.
"Don't worry honey! You'll realize your feelings eventually." She said to Minami before turning to Akihisa" and you. If I so much as hear you bothering my sweetie, I'll rip both your arms off and make you eat them." She said glaring at him.
"Miharu, Shouldn't we be going to our flag?" Kubo said walking up behind her in a matching green shirt followed by Aiko and Sugawa.
"Yeah I want to hurry up and start" Aiko said. "By the way Kouta, I sure hope you don't have an unfortunate accident in the maze. I would hate to have to take you to and empty classroom and fix you up." She said winking at him.
"I don't know what you're talking about" Kouta said as his nose began to drip blood. "The air is dry…" he said pulling out a hanker chief to stop the bleeding.
"GREEN TEAM, QUIT HECKLING THE BLUE TEAM AND GET TO YOUR FLAG!" Iron man yelled into a bull horn, which made his already loud voice boom across the arena.
"See ya' later sweet pea," Miharu said before she gestured to Akihisa that she'd be watching him and walking away.
Iron man walked up to Minami's team ad held out a metal contraption towards Kouta.
"What's that?" Akihisa said moving to touch it. Iron man slapped his hand away and explained to them what it was.
"It's a special type of crutch that allows you to walk on your leg without damaging it." He said as Kouta took it and put it on his injured leg.
After he'd finished putting it on, he tested it out by placing his foot on the ground.
"It works, thanks iron man" Kouta said tapping his foot on the ground.
"That's fricken amazing!" Akihisa said examining the piece of machinery, but Iron man was already walking away.
"ALRIGHT BRATS, THIS IS HOW THE GAME WORKS. EACH TEAM HAS 5 EASTER EGGS OF THEIR COLOR HIDDE AROUND THE MAZE. YOUR JOB IS TO FIND THE EGGS AND BRING THEM BACK HERE. EACH EGG IS GUARDED BY THIRD YEAR STUDENTS SO YOU WILL HAVE TO USE YOUR AVATARS TO FORCEFULLY TAKE YOUR AVATARS FROM THEM! IF YOUR TEAM'S AVATARS ARE DEFEATED, THEN YOUR TEAM WILL BE DISQUALIFIED. THE FIRST TEAM TO GET ALL OF THEIR EGGS BACK HERE WILL GET A SPECIAL PRIZE!" he said into his bull horn. "THE HUNT WILL BEGIN IN TWO MINUTES SO YOU'D BETTER CALCULATE A STRATEGY WITH YOUR TEAM MATES TO GET YOUR EGGS."
When Iron man finished talking Akihisa turned to his team and began to strategize with them.
"I think we should all stay together as a group so we have a better chance of winning a fight." Mizuki said.
"Good idea, we don't have the best scores and we can't afford to lose any team mates" Akihisa said, "Any other ideas?" No one spoke up.
"Guess that's what we're rollin' with." Minami said as the whistle blew for the beginning of the match. Team Blue took off into the maze along with the other teams until they came upon the first turn.
"Which way should we go?" Mizuki said.
"Follow me guys! I'll lead you to-" Akihisa began before Kouta cut him off.
"This way" he said taking the opposite route. Minami went after Kouta and Mizuki followed her. Akihisa quickly ran after them and began shouting at Kouta.
"WHAT THE HELL MAN! I SAID TO FOLLOW M-" he began.
"This way" he said turning left again.
"ARE YOU SE-?!"
"Look an egg!" Minami said running past Kouta and to an emerald egg in a nest of golden pipe cleaners.
"Not you too Mina-" Akihisa started before he was interrupted by two third years dropping in on them.
"Not so fast Losers!" The first one said.
"You're not getting that egg on our watch" said the second.
"OH COME ON" Akihisa yelled as the team summoned their avatars.
"SUMMON!" they all said in unison. Their avatar's were slightly different because of the competition but otherwise they were the same.
Kouta's avatar was life-sized and had bunny ears and a poofy tail along with a basket full of rainbow shurikens. Mizuki's avatar was also life-sized and was wearing a very suggestive outfit that revealed a lot of skin and bunny ears. Akihisa's avatar was it's original size and was wearing a one piece, white bunny suit. Finally Minami's avatar was life-sized and was wearing an outfit similar to Mizuki's avatar.
Kouta's face reddened as he began to fight with the others against the third years, although throughout the fight his nose continuously bled.
And the Avatar easter egg hunt continued for the entire school day.
