Chapter 8: Truths, Dares, and FREEDOM

"Yes" Kouta immediately regretted his decision. What if they guessed who it was? What if they already knew? What if-

"Really?!" Akihisa said leaning towards Kouta.

"Who is it?!" Hideyoshi said. He edged closer to Kouta along with Yuuji and Akihisa.

"Tell us Man!" Yuuji said shaking Kouta's shoulders.

"First of all, you can only ask one question. Second of all it has to be a yes or no question, "responded Kouta.

"Damn you" Akihisa said. He scooted closer to Kouta and grabbed his hands. "You can't just drop a bomb on us like that and not tell us who! That's…that's cruel!"

"What bomb? What're you talking about" Minami said. All the boys and Hideyoshi froze and their bodies stiffened. Behind Yuuji was Shouko, behind Hideyoshi was Yuuko, behind Akihisa was Mizuki and behind Kouta was Minami.

"What have you four been up to?" Yuuko said with a disturbingly sweet voice.

"We were talking about-"

"SPORTS! We were talking about the basketball game that happened last night. Akihisa said completely cutting Hideyoshi off.

"DID YOU SEE THAT LAST HOMERUN?! IT WAS AMAZING!" Yuuji yelled. Everyone was silent.

"There are not homeruns in basketball Yuuji" Shouko said looming over him with her tazzer.

"Why don't you guys just tell us what's going on and nobody will get hurt." Minami said looming over Kouta.

"I suggest you listen to her Akihisa…" Mizuki said looming over Akihisa with a washboard and cinderblocks at her feet.

"Dear brother, it'd be a shame if I were the only one to come home wouldn't it?" Yuuko said looming over Hideyoshi with her fist ready to punch the daylights out of him.

"We'll never talk" Yuuji said crossing his arms over his chest. The rest of the boys followed his precedent and crossed their arms over their chests too.

"Alright then, we're doing this the hard way. How about we do some private questioning?" Yuuko said already dragging Hideyoshi away.

"AHHHHH, NO PLEASE HELP ME I DON'T WANT TO DIE TODAY! IT'S EASTER SHOW SOME MERCY!" he screamed and screamed as his satanic sister dragged him into a dark corner where Hideyoshi's pleas of mercy were heard.

"Good Idea Yuuko, I think private questioning will definitely give promising results" Shouko said dragging Yuuji away by his feet.

"Boys…It's been an honor" he said letting Shouko pull him away from the group.

"Yuuji…we'll remember you" Kouta said saluting along with Akihisa towards Yuuji.

"Oh Akihisa, you silly goose, you won't remember anything after I'm done with you" Mizuki said. She was standing a couple feet away with her torture devices already set up. "Don't be scared Akihisa come on over".

"NOOOO KOUTA PLEASE STOP HER" he yelled. Not only was she going to hurt him, she was going to make him walk to his own death. She's the devil.

"Looks like that just leaves you Kouta" Minami said startling Kouta.

"Oh, you're still here" he said shivering.

"What's that supposed to mean?" she said moving in front of him.

"Well…it's just that whenever there's torturing involved you usually go to Akihisa with Mizuki." He said scratching the back of his head.

"That is so not true" Minami said looking away with her arms crossed. She didn't always go to Akihisa.

"It is. It's gotten me off the hook on more than one occasion" he said leaning backwards a bit.

"Well not anymore. Now that I know your little loophole, I'm gonna' make sure that I punish you thoroughly from now on." She said coming closer towards him.

"No, no that's okay" he said backing away from her.

"I insist"

"Wait! You can't hurt me, i've got a leg injury"

"That does make it a bit harder to think of what to do to you…I know! I'll just have to avoid your legs when I torture you"

"You're sick"

"This is your last chance to tell me what you guys were talking about before I hurt you"

Kouta looked around the room to see what had become of his friends. Hideyoshi tied up in ropes and had a gag tied around his mouth. Even like that he'd fared better than Yuuji who was out of sight, most likely being molested by Shouko again. And finally Akihisa who was sitting on the washboard as Mizuki piled cinderblocks on top of his lap. Kouta looked at Minami andsaw her punching her palme while smiling at him.

"What's your choice Kouta Tsuchiya?" she said preparing to hit him. Kouta stiffened and felt cold sweat fall down his forehead. "Alrighty then, torture it is!" Minami said grabbing his arm.

"ALRIGHT, ALRIGHT I GIVE!" he said before she could do anything." We… we were playing truth or dare"

"Oh, really, and what truths and dares did you guys come up with?" she said lowering her fist.

"We dared Yuuji to touch Mizuki's chest…"

"That explains why he was acting so weird, who's idea was that?"

"…mine" she punched the back of his head.

"Continue " she said with the same eerie smile. Kouta kept his mouth shut. He would never admit to the truth he had shared, especially to her.

"We asked Kouta if he had a crush on someone and he said-" Kouta quickly stabbed Akihisa in the eyes before he could finish his sentence. Apparently he'd crawled over to them and joined in their discussion.

"MY EYES" Akihisa yelled.

"Mizuki, go get Hideyoshi for questioning" Minami said. Mizuki walked over to Yuuko and filled her in on what was going on. Yuuko then proceeded to untie Hideyoshi and drag him over to the other three.

"Hideyoshi dear, please tell us what Kouta's answer to the question was" Yuuko said patting Hideyoshi's shuddering head.

"He…he said-" Kouta had taken off his shoe and thrown it directly at Hideyoshi's face, knocking him out in the process.

"Minami, please restrain the suspect, we're running out of witnesses." Yuuko said. Minami grabbed Kouta and held his arms at his sides. Yuuko walked over to Shouko and convinced her to bring Yuuji to the group of students.

"Yuuji, what was the answer to Kouta's truth?" Minami said as Kouta struggled to disable Yuuji.

"He said yes" Yuuji said.

Minami released Kouta as he ran to the window, preparing to jump. Akihisa woke up and ran over to stop him.

"It seems the tables have turned my friend" Kouta said.

"Don't do it man! You have so much to live for." Akihisa yelled to his friend.

"Do you know what they'll do next Akihisa?" Kouta said. Akihisa didn't answer so he continued. "They're going to torture me until they find out who it is." Akihisa gasped." And when they're done…the inquisition will get me, this is my only option" he said.

"Can't you just use some ninja crap to get us the hell out of here?" he asked.

"Good idea, but we won't be able to save Hideyoshi and Yuuji" Kouta said lowering himself from the window.

"Every man for himself dude, this is war." Akihisa said.

"On the count of three make a break for the vents" Kouta whispered reaching into his back pocket and pulling out something.

"One"

"Two"

"THREE" Kouta released the object and a plume of smoke shrouded the room. He and Akihisa made a break for the vents in the room. Luckily, they made it to the vents before the smoke dissipated. They then evacuated to sweet, sweet Easter freedom.
