Chapter 10: Thoughts, Ice cream, and Slumber Parties.

_Chapter 10_

After about an hour of playing Call of Duty, The boys tired of it and decided to tour Kouta's house. Kouta led them through his home, making sure he didn't bring them to his room.

"And that's my house" he said trying to hurry down the stairs before anyone noticed what he'd left out of the tour.

"Wait, where's your room?" Akihisa said. Of all the times he chose not to be a complete idiot, he chose the one time Kouta was relying on his idiocy.

"My rooms not important" Kouta said smiling nervously.

"Are you hiding something?" Yuuji asked Slyly. Kouta wanted to die. He couldn't remember what the last thing he was doing n his room was, so he didn't know what would be there when he showed them it.

"No, I just haven't cleaned it in a while" he said nervously.

"I don't mind a little mess" Yuuji said looking around for his door. They found the door that they hadn't been shown and walked towards it.
"Is this is?" Akihisa said about to turn the nob.

"No!" Kouta scolded hitting his hand with his left crutch. "No one is going into my room!" Kouta said blocking the door.

"What?! Why not?" Akihisa said crossing his arms.

"Because, its messy and I don't need you three prowling through my stuff." Kouta said stubbornly. He would have to Akihisa-proof his room before the idiot could go into it.

"C'mon man, how bad could it be?" Yuuji said crossing his arms over his chest and rolling his eyes.

"C'mon you two, it's his room. If he doesn't want you going into it, then you should respect his privacy" Hideyoshi said.

"Fine, lets just go back downstairs" Akihisa said heading down the stairs. Yuuji went next and Kouta gave a silent thanks to Hideyoshi who nodded in his direction.

"What should we do now?" Yuuji said plopping down onto the carpet. Kouta hobbled over to a shelf filled with board games and books and pulled out a medium sized box. He brought the box over to Yuuji and set it on the ground in front of him. Hideyoshi and Akihisa sat down in front of the brightly colored box as Kouta retrieved a soft chair that consisted of a lever that could control the height of the four then settled into comfortable positions and began a game of monopoly.

About ten minutes into the game, Akihisa announced that he had to go to the bathroom and he quickly walked up the stairs before anyone could tell him that there was a bathroom down the hall. Akihisa followed the path that Kouta had showed him around the house until he reached the door that he was looking for. It was an average wooden door with a silver knob. Akihisa looked around him to make sure no one was watching and then quietly opened the door and stepped into the room, closing the door behind him.

As soon as he opened the door he knew Kouta had been lying about why he wouldn't allow anyone into his room. It was extremely clean and organized without a speck of dust out of place. Akihisa quietly walked about the room and kept a look out for anything out of the ordinary. As far as he could see, everything looked normal. The door was located on the front left corner of the room and on the same wall, was a small television on a stand filled up with books and graphic novels. Along the top of the shelf, were different albums and Cds. The back of his room was lined with similar shelves with more books and movies. In the middle of the shelves sat Kouta's bed. As far as Akihisa could see there was nothing out of the ordinary about this room. So why was Kouta so hung up on keeping the contents of his room a secret?

As Akihisa pondered about this, his eyes wondered over to a desk on the west wall of the room. Akihisa wondered over to the desk and found a small, leather object lying on the desk. It was probably Kouta's wallet. Being the nosey snooper he was, Akihisa decided to open the wallet and check out what dirty little secrets Kouta was hiding inside of his wallet. As Akihisa flipped through the wallet, he found a few memory cards for Kouta's cameras, money, and a crumpled up piece of paper. Akihisa removed the paper from the wallet and unfolded it. What Akihisa found made his blood boil. He didn't know why, but his hands ripped the picture to shreds and through it into a nearby rubbish bin.

Akihisa left the room and closed the door, careful to make sure everything was back into place. He went down the stairs angrily and sat down near a wall.

"What toasted your buns?" Yuuji said looking over at Akihisa. Akihisa didn't answer; he just pulled his knees up to his chest and glared at the floor. Yuuji, Kouta, and Hideyoshi looked at each other and then looked back and Akihisa.

"Well, it's your turn" Hideyoshi said trying to ignore his friend's anger.

"Just skip me. I don't wanna' play anymore." He said bitterly. He didn't know why, but what he saw in Kouta's room made him angry. He was so confused and angry that he couldn't think straight. His thoughts were jumbled and foggy and he couldn't decipher every emotion he was feeling. All he knew was that he was angry. The others decided to shrug off Akihisa's strange behavior and continue playing the game. It was when Akihisa refused to participate in anything they did that they got worried.

"Akihisa are you sure your alright?" Kouta asked after finishing a game of "I doubt it" with the others. He had tried to ignore Akihisa's mood but now it was really getting to him.

"Peachy" Akihisa said standing up from his spot on the floor. " Now if you'll excuse me, I need my beauty rest" he said stomping upstairs, leaving the other two boys and Hideyoshi very confused.
