Kim's POV
"Mark" Me and Jack both said
"Jack and Kim ! How are you" Mark said walking up to us
"Good ! What are you doing here "
"wait Jack, How do you know Mark" I asked
"I was just about to ask you the same question." Jack replied.
"Jack, Kim is ok Paul told me to come here because he told me that some one was after you." Mark told me and Jack.
"Right… Yeah I don' believe anything He says, he lied to me" I told him. "Jack can you please help me out, and take me up the stairs so I can get some things out of my room." I asked Jack.
"Sure" Jack replied
With that Jack helped me up the stairs. to the main level and i managed to hop. while holding on to Jack, I told him that it was past the lounge room, down the Hall and the second door on the left, we went in to my room and asked jack to sit me down on my bed.
"Nice room" Jack said as he looked around.
"Thx" I said and Smiled Jack walked over to my dresser and picked up a photo frame.
"Is this your dad" Jack asked, I motioned him to hand it to me, I looked at it and sighed
"Yeah, that was on our last holidays together I was 12." I told Jack, Jack just nodded.
"you know Kim I know what its like to loosed your best friend" Jack started I looked at Jack.
"When My dad died, I didn't no what to do, he was my best friend. my my taught me to think about all the good times we had together" Jack said, I smiled at the thought of me and my dad.
"I know I try and when I do, it just come's back to haunt me the day that he died" I told Jack. starting to cry.
"Its ok to feel like this" Jack told me rubbing my back
I sniffed, and put down the frame. "I know, Um I have a duffel bag with some spare clothes in it that will last me at least a week, at the bottom of my closet." I told Jack, he nodded, and went into my closest, and got the bag. "And in the bathroom is my toiletry bag with some products as well" He went and got that as well" While Jack was in the bath room, I tried getting up and limping over to my dresser, to get my make up.
"What are you doing, SIT DOWN " Jack said as he ran over to me.
"relax Jack, I'm just getting some make up and other things" I told him as I also had a pre packed bag of things ready to go, Paul told me to do this when I moved in with him, because one day eventually the person that Killed my dad will be after me. Once evey thing was packed, and ready to go, i slug the bag over me, Jack picked me up and walked me back down to the basement, Jack put me back in my chair, and as I was about to walk out Mark stopped us.
"Where are you going Kim" Mark asked me
"I'm staying with jack for a couple of night, I can't deal with Paul right now" I told him
"Why" He questioned
"He lied to me ! about nearly every thing about my family history" I shouted out
"Kim, Paul does love you" Mark said walking up to us.
"Then Why did he lie to me"
"About what" Mark Questioned
"MY MUM !" I shouted.
"Kim, honey, he is trying to protect you"
"I don't no what to believe now, Jack can we please get out of here." I asked Jack, With that, Jack pushed me out and we met Jack's mum out side, we got into the car, and went to the shops.
While with Donna and Milton: Milton's POV
Milton and Donna were in a study period together, Donna sitting with her friends and Milton sitting with Julie.
"Milton, I just think it is best for us to see other people" Julie said to me
"Ok I agree" I replied, with that Julie walked away, and I just put head down, I felt a hand on my back and then three words I never thought this person would say in public
"Are you ok" Some one asked me, It was a girls voice, and someones voice I have heard. I looked up to see Donna sitting their, She smiled, which made me smile
"I'm sure you don't want to hear my story" I said Looking at her.
"Why would you say that" Donna asked
"Your the most popular girl in the school, and Nerds like me, your normally treat like trash" I replied. When I finished I saw my pen flashing.
"Paul want's us." I said. Donna nodded and went back to her table to make up a lame excuse why she has to leave.
Donna's POV
I was talking to my friends When I saw that Geek Julie, talking to milton, Julie got up, and walked away, and I saw milton burry his head into his work.
"Every thing ok girl" Erica asked
"Um Yeah, I'm just going to go ask Milton where the library is" I said to Erica, every one looked at me.
"WHY" ! She said confused in her southern accent.
"I need some books for the project" I said
"But Why Him" Lindsy asked
"be cause he's the best Nerd for the job, Plus he's kinda cute" I said looking at him smiling.
"I'll be back." I said as I got up, walked over to Milton and out my arm on his back and sat down next to him. "Are you ok" I asked him, He looked up at me kind of in shock that I was doing this. I smiled at him, which made him smile.
"I'm sure you don't really want to hear my story" He started.
"Why would you say that" I asked him, concerned.
"Ha, your the most popular girl in school, and you normally treat nerd like me like trash" Milton said, My heart sunck, when he said that, I knew I would never do that on purpose, I just do it, be cause well, I don't no…
When milton started to talk I saw his pen light up. "Paul wants us" I said.
I went back to my table, Grabbed my books, and to tell the girls that well some lame excuse why I had to leave, honestly, its really hard to keep make up excuses, why I always have to leave. Once I had grabbed my books, I met milton out, side and we ran, or walked to out 'Secret location' once we got their I out in the pin, and the door opened.
"So what happened between you and Julie" I asked before pulling the leaver. we went down the draft, and the door opened, we came out wearing spy gear.
"She thought it might be best if we see other people" Milton replied
"I.. I'm sorry" I said. with that Paul walked up to us.
"Whats up Paul." I asked
"Kim and Jack, they didn't turn up to school today." Paul said
"So, Kim has just being in an accident, she probably still in hospitable" I replied shrugging my shoulders.
"She's NOT " Paul yelled at us. I flinched, so did milton
"Paul," Milton paused "Is everything ok" Milton asked
"Yeah, every thing is fine" Paul said, rubbing the back of his neck
"Sure looks likes something" I said
"Kim and I got in a fight, and I have no died where she is, or who she's staying with"
"Is that why you called us." I stared
"To spy on her" Milton finished
"Well…." Paul said in an hight pitched voice
"Paul… Kim is going to be ok… she's strong" I said
"Plus, if she got into trouble she would tell, me Jack or Donna" Milton said.
"Guys Please, Just help me, I promised, her father that I would take care of her no matter what" Paul said to us begging.
Me and Milton just looked at each other and sighed.
"Fine, but how are you going to get us out of school" Milton asked
"Well you guys do business technology, right" Paul questioned us. me and milton nodded. "Well then your class will be going to the mall, to do a little bit of research." Paul said.
"Wait how d you know she will be at the mall." I asked her
'Well kinda out a tracking device on her phone. and she's on her way to the mall now" Paul said. Me and milton nodded and ran out of their, and met out business teacher.
20 minutes later - at the mall
Me and Milton where at the mall, we had split up, in to groups, I went with milton, Grace, and Brody, Grace and Brody left us and decided to go do their own thing which we perfect for me and Milton, for one - to help find Kim, and second to ask milton, if he was ok about the whole break up.
"Hey Paul, Where at the mall and we have being walking around for a while, and haven't seen her, are you sure she's at the mall" I questioned Paul.
"I am sure, Donna just keep looking and when you see her call me and I will be right their"
"Ok" I replied
"he wan't us to keep looking until we find her" I said to Milton, Milton looked at me
"What do you think went down, with him and her" Milton question
"Not sure, but he seem's pretty distressed." I said "Come one lets keep looking" I said and I pulled milton along
Kim's POV
We were in the car on the way to the mall, it was silent, but a good kind of silent, something that I haven;t really experienced, when ever i'm in a car we would always we running over the plan. but this car ride wasn't that, I was sitting in the back seat, looking at my phone, to see many text messages from Paul, and notification from Paul that their was an emergency just to get me back to him, but that wasn't going to work. The silence was broken my May.
"So Kim honey, what kind of shops do you like to go to" She asked me,
To be honest, I never really got to go into any shops, I just would wear what Paul, got me, and It just got into my taste of clothes.
"I just normally wear Jeans a plain top, or something with writing on it" I told May.
"Kim, have you ever being shopping before." She asked me
I put my head, down and I looked up to see her looking at me in her re-vision mirror I was honest.
"No, I just get clothes and I wear them." I said.
"and how about that hair cut" She said I looked down at my hair, and it was the same hair cut i had when i was 12.
"I just get it cut, I don't really care what people think of me" I said
"Well then, I'm gonna give you a little make over, if thats ok with you" May asked me. I looked up and smiled, at this point I felt like I had a Mum that cared about me, and wanted to do something.
"I don't want to waist your money, honestly, I'll just buy some new clothes and .." Before I could finish, she said
"Kim, Honey It's no trouble, I've always wanted a little girl" Jack interrupted
"Thx mum" Jack said
"But My husband died, out on field," She said, I looked at her, with a sympathetic look
"Sorry" I said putting my head down
"It's not a problem Kim, I want to do this for you" May said.
"Ok Thank you" I said smiling
We got to the mall, after a drive felt short, but was kinda long, May parked the car and got out and got my wheel chair while Jack helped me out, and put me in the chair and wheeled me into the Mall.
"I'll see you guys later, Ill be at the dojo, meet me their when you done" Jack said kissing me on the hair.
"Ok, bye Jack", "Bye Honey", Me and May said, at the same time, with that Jack Left
"Ok lets go have some fun.." May said and wheeled me along
"Lets go" I said smiling
"So Kim what would you like to do, get your nails done, hair, done, go go shopping first" May asked me
"I don't mind, Maybe my hair" I said, not really wanting to get my nails done.
"Do you want to get your nails done" May asked me
"I don't want to spend you money on me" I said
"Relax Kim, Its ok.. trust me, I'll get you what ever you need" May stated.
"Thank you, but that isn't really nessassary" I said
"PLEASE… KIM" May whined.
"Ok fine… " I said
"GREAT, lets go into this salon, my friend works their so we might get a discount" May said excited, pushing me in to the salon 'BEAUTIFY'
"Hi sue, this is my sons girlfriend, and well she's kinda going threw a ruff patch right now, so would you mind" May started
"Of course come come" Sue said, May pushed me over to a mirro, I looked at my self, and I did see a dull Kim" I was just looking at my self, until i was raised out of my thoughts, by sue calling me name
"KIM… Kim … Kim honey" Sue said clicking her fingers. I shock my head
"Hu? Sorry what was that ? " I questioned.
"What kind of hair cut would you like" Sue asked
"Well I would like to keep my hair long, so surprise me" I said
"right" Sue said
No ones POV
Sue did her magic, Keeping Kim's hair long, she styled it so it looked pretty, and well different, if fit her face frame, and well lets just say there was a new Kim in town, while Kim's hair was getting done other workers came and painted her nails and did her make up, Kim was able to keep the make up as a present that was applied on her. When every thing was done, Sue turn Kim around to a mirror , so Kim could see her self. Kim was in aw. It was a new her, a new Kim Crawford. A Kim Crawford that she actually liked, her, hair was still long but with shape and a bit of curl. Her make up was light, but was visible, she looked like a young adult, Kim's face was more happier and had more life in it. as for her nails they where just painted a simple light pink colour.
"WOW, I look" Kim started
"Beautiful" Everyone said
"and brand new, Thank you" Kim said to every one.
"Your welcome sweetheart" Sue said and smiled
"How much would that be today" May asked
"On the house" Sue said.
"No no no .. I can't leave here with out paying" Kim said
"Kim, its ok, You needed it, think of it as a good deed to some one in need" Sue said, Kim and may smiled
"Thank you" May said and smiled and pushed Kim out of the saloon.
"Clothes next?" May questioned to Kim
"Sure" Kim replied simply.
"What kins of clothe stores do you shop at" May asked
"I just normally buy from target" Kim relied
"have you seen any that you like" May asked
"Well I like this shop, Forever 21 and urben out fitters" Kim said
"Right well lets go in their then" May said happily.
With that May and Kim went shopping, and got Kim clothes, some from target and good clothes from Forever 21 and Urbun outfitters. Kim and May where in Forever 21, and Kim was getting changed into a outfit, which was hard, but getting use to because of her leg, but she got their in the end.
"Ok Im finished, wanna see" Kim said to may
"Oh yes please" May replied
Kim came out wearing high waist denim ripped shorts, with a black tank top. and Jelly's sandals. with a white leather jacket to pull it all off.( cgi/set?id=108619073 )
"WOW Kim, you look"… May started. Words couldn't describe what May thought of Kim, Kim looked new, pretty, and well lets just say, KIM!. Kim felt good as well, the new hair hair style, make up, Kim had never felt like this before, she felt like a girl.
"Brand new" Kim said
"yes, ands let me tell you.. it suits you, sweet heart."
"Thank you" Kim replied.
Soon Kim had brand new clothes from jumpers, jeans, shorts, shirts, singlest and some shoes from urban outfitters and also target. Kim and May where on their way out of target. both of them felt a little parched and hungry.
"You hungry Kim" May asked Kim.
"yes, I am" Kim replied
"Well would you like to get something to eat" May asked.
"you've paid for all my clothes and every thing else, the least I could do is pay for my own food" Kim said
"Ok, today" May said, unhappy because she wanted to pay for Kim's food.
Kim and May sat down at a table and waited for their food, they talked for a while. talking about girl things and well Jack and Paul.
"I know this sounds strange, but do you like my son" May asked Kim
"yeah I do" Kim replied
"Well, Let me tell you. that he came home, a few weeks ago, and couldn't stop talking about you" may told Kim. Kim blushed.
'What did he say about me" Well he told me about you and your family" May said
"What he say about them" Kim question hesitantly
"Well He told me that you had never met you mother, that she died at your birth" May started, which intact i didn't no which was true or not. "He also told me that your father died while training in the army, which you did as well" May finished
"yes all of that is true" Kim said.
"So who do you live with now" May asked me
"Paul, my dad best friend. but i'm not speaking to him at the moment, because he lied to me"
"Ah yes, Jack was telling me about this last night" May said
"WHAT ! NO NO NO ! how much did he tell you" Kim said worried
"Kim it's ok, I know about your secret, because Jacks father was one and when he died I helped out and still do with work" May said reassuring Kim that everything was OK
"Ok, Thx" kim replied
"Kim, he was probable Just trying to protect you" May said.
"I know, but that protection hurt me" Kim said. "I don't have anyone of family that has DNA that live in the US or Seaford, that live every where and any where in the world" Kim started again.
"Kim honey, DNA, doesn't make a family, LOVE does, and Paul loves you with all his heart" May said
"How do you know" Kim asked
"People just know Kim" May said.
with that May and Kim's drink and food came, they kept talking until they finished, paid and walked out to meet Jack at the dojo.
