With Milton and donna at the mall. Donna's POV continued .
We walked around in and out of shops, trying to find Kim, for an hour, but we couldn't find her, we asked all the shop assistants if they had seen and girl and boy, but they all look weird at us, and asked us why we weren't in school and dressed in weird clothes.
"Where could she be" I asked milton
"I don't no, but I swear I have seen to people that looks like Jack's mother and well Kim" Milton told me a bit afraid.
"When did you see her" Donna asked me trying not to get mad and stay clam.
'When we where in Forever 21, when you got distracted. or 'Went our separate ways" milton said to me air quoting that i got distracted because i went a different way
"I didn't get distracted, I just thought that if we split up, we could find her faster" I said raising my voice but trying not to loose my temper.
"Look us shouting at each other isn;t going to find her" Milton said
"Well where did you clame to see her" I asked
"I saw her in the change rooms, and then at the check out" Milton said "I over heard them, and I think they went to the La' cafe' in the food court." Milton said
"Well lets go their and see if they have seen her." I said, Pulling milton towards the food court.
Milton's POV
We ran across from Kmart, all the way to the food court but donna Milton stopped me when we went past our training which looks like a dojo.
"Milton, Look" Donna said, stopping me.
we both looked into the dojo, and saw Jack punching a dummy, that unfortunately lost it's head.
"Wow…" I said shocked
"Come on lets go see him, we need to go see rudy anyways" Donna said, and we walked towards the dojo. We walked into the dojo, and saw Jack by the bench, wiping himself.
"Jack" I said.
"Oh hey guys, what you doing out of school" Jack asked
"We have a 'Mission'." Milton said.
"If you guys are on a mission why didn't me and Kim get a call" Jack asked
"Because you guys are the mission" Donna said
"What do you mean" Jack asked
"Paul want's to know if Kim's ok, and where she is" I summed up
"Kim's fine. She's just out with my mum at the moment" Jack said.
as soon as Jack finished, we heard the door and Jack spoke again
"Speak of the beauty" Jack said We turned around and saw Kim in a wheel chair, looking different. we looked back at jack and his jaw was half way to the floor.
"Jack… Jack.. JAAAAACK!….." Donna yelled, still nothing
"earth to Jack …" I said. again nothing
"JACK!" Kim yelled, he nonned his head, and came out of his day dream.
"What" He asked.
"You zoned out" Kim said and smiled
"Sorry. Whats up" He asked.
"Well as we told you earlier we were just wondering if Kim was ok" I told Jack and Kim.
"I'm Fine milton, I'm going back to the doctors to see how my legs going" Kim replied.
"Thats good" I said
"So why are you guys here" Kim asked.
"Mum you can go now, Ill call you when me and Kim are done." Jack told his mum
"Ok" she simply replied. and left.
Kim wheeled her self over to myself, Donna and Jack.
"Kim, you look" Jack started
"Different" I said
"Good sense of style" Donna squealed
"HOT!" Jack said
We all looked at Jack and then me and Donna looked at Kim and she was blushing.
"Thx" Kim replied. Their was silence for while. but donna broke it thank god, because it was getting really awkward.
"So Kim what did you Bye" Donna asked Kim.
Donna's POV
The silence was getting to me so I decide to ask Kim, girl to girl what she brought, just thinning that we could be come a lot closer, and make her realise that I am not really that Bitch that every one says I am.
"So Kim what did you buy" I asked her. I sat down on the bench next to her and she showed me all of the clothes.
"I Wanted to buy these, but Mrs Brewer brought them for me." Kim replied and showed me al the new clothes and accessories.
"They Look awesome!' Told Kim she smiled at me.
"You know I don't think of you as what ever on says." Kim told me.
"Thx" I said smiling. "So how are you and Jack going" I asked Kim. Kim blushed like a tomato
"Good" She said smiling
"Soooo" I started
"Soooo, What ?" I questioned
"What are you guys" I asked her
"Well, we were together. But we don't want to make it public about it" Kim told me I nodded, letting her know that I would keep it to my self.
"Secrets safe with me" I simple said
"So what about you and Milton" She asked me. I felt my cheek heating up.
"What about me and Milton" I questioned
"Donna, I see the way you act around him" Kim said
"I'm Just being nice" I said. trying to cover up the fact that i wanna go out with him.
"Yeah a little to nice" Kim said raising her eyebrow.
"FIIIINE …." I groaned "To be honest, I kinda Like him. He's sweet, Kind, and well I kinda think His nerdy side is attractive" I say to Kim spilling out every thing to Kim. I Look over at Kim and she's smiling from ear to ear.
"Milton" She calls.
"What are you doing" I ask her
"I'm helping you" Kim says
'Hey Jack, I think Im ready to go, home i'm feeling a bit tired" Kim tell Jack.
"Ok, Let me just get changed" Jack replies.
Jack Came out of the change rooms. "Cya guys, I come and see you tomorrow" Kim says
"Bye guys" Jack says
"Good LUCK !" Kim sings
"Bye" Me and milton both says.
Jack and Kim leave, leaving me and milton alone, In the dojo.
"What was that about" Milton asked me
'Don't no" I lied
"Lets go back to Paul" Milton said. and walked towards the door.
'Milton wait" I yelled so he could here
"yeah" he said turning around looking at me. I gulped
"I was wondering if you wanted to.. well" I started. "I doesn't matter, we should probably get back to Paul" I winged out
"Ok"
me and milton walked back to the base casually talking, and to milton surprise he found out a lot about me that no one else knows not even my Girls. for one thing I don't tell them that I told him, I get A's and B's. he was shocked but happy that I cared about my grades as well, not just my looks. We got back to base, to see Paul looking at photos of Kim.
"Hi paul what ya doing" Milton asked
"Oh Sorry, just looking at Kim, How is she, Is she ok. Where is she" where half of the questions that came out of Paul's mouth in about a minute
"Paul she's ok" I said
"She's with Jack, and his mum, and let me tell you, you won't notice her when you see her" Milton said
"Why ! What happened" Paul asked worried
"She just got the best make over of her life" I said jumping for joy
"I have to go see her" Paul said stressed out
"Relax paul, she said she might come in after her doctor appointment, tomorrow" I said
"And I think its best for you go home and rest for now, all this has made you look really unwell" Milton said
with that Paul left in a poor state, and me and milton alone 'YES !'
"wow, he's really upset" I say
"yeah. well i can understand, he's Kim's only guardian that lives here" milton siad
"what do you mean" I ask
"well if it wasn't for Paul, Kim would be on the other side of the world in Australia" milton said sintificly, and that made get goose pumps. 'Wow" I said to my self. I must of zoned out, because I saw milton leave. and I knew that if i didn't ask him now, I wouldn't ask him . "Milton. Wait" I said running up to him
"yeah" He asked
"Did you wannagetapizza, I said so fast i didn't even under stand what I said, but apparently milton did.
"Sure" Milton simply said
"Excuse me" I asked not realising what he said
"yes, I would like get get a pizza with you" milton said. I smiled and we both walked into the elevator. and went and grabbed some Pizza.
Time skip, - With Jack and Kim. Jacks house.
No one's POV
Kim was in her room. looking at all her clothes, she smiled at them, and started to pack them all away, when she heard a knock at the door.
"Come in" She yelled, Jack walked in, Kim smiled
"Hey Jack" Kim said
"hey Kim, how you going" Jack asked Kim
"I'm good, My legs really sore" Kim complained
"Did you want me to get your pain killers" Jack asked concerned.
"Yeah, I haven't had them in 24 hours so, I guess I should have some" Kim said
Jack Left and came back with in a minute with Kim's Pain killers, Jack handed them to Kim along with a water.
"Thx" Kim replied taking the pain killer.
"So what else did my mum buy you" He asked kind of jealous, but joking around with me.
"Well I got some shorts, shirts singlets, and shoes" Kim said smiling.
"Sounds like a lot" Jack said
'Yeah, I kinda like its because I mean , I have what you saw in my room, but my clothes, aren't as good, just clothes from target.
"Anyways, Just wanted to see how you where going" Jack said to Kim
"Jack" Kim asked
"Hum" Jack questioned
"Thank you" Kim said
"No worries, Let me know when you want to go to bed and I'll help you" Jack said
"Ok thx" Kim said and smiled.
a few hours later. Kim had packed all her new clothes away, and went out to the main part of the house, the kitchen to see. Jack and his mum, in the kitchen, Laughing and having fun. Kim felt weird. at this point, she felt lonely. like she had no one to do that with. Kim backed up her chair. and tired as hard as she could her hold in her tear, until she got into her room. when she got into her room, she went close to her, bed and tried to get up to her self, but fell which made a loud thud, and started to cry.
luckily Jack and him mum heard the loud thud and came running into Kim's room.
"Kim honey are you ok" May asked.
"Yeah Im fine, I just wanna have something to eat and go to bed, and be alone" Kim said sobbing.
"Ok coming honey, lets get you in the shower and ready for bed" May said to Kim, helping her up with Jacks help.
Kim took a shower with May's Help and got her into her sweet pants, and shirt. and wheeled her out to the kitchen. to see Jack serving dinner which was her favourite dish, and Jack best dish that he could cook, Spaghetti bolognese.
"Ummm smells, delicious" Kim said
"Well I made it so It must be good" Jack said cockily.
They all had dinner, Kim was feeling better, but still upset so she decided to ask if Jack could help her to bed.
"I think i'll go to bed now" Kim said.
"Ok Shall I help you" Jack asked.
"that would be nice thank you" Kim said.
May looked at the two, and just rolled her eyes, and collected the plates, from the table while Jack took Kim to her bedroom.
The two got into Kim's guest room. Jack helped her on to her bed. and tucked her in, went round to the other side and sat beside her and cuddled her.
"I'm sorry about earlier, I came out to see you guys to see if you wanted help with anything. Then I saw you and your mum having fun, and It made me realise that I never got to that with my mum." Kim told Jack trying to catch her breath.
"It's ok Kim, I under stand" Jack told her. "Im actually jealous of you, having Paul, getting to do all the cool boys stuff and still be a girl and get to do girl things" Jack told Kim
Kim laughed at Jack joke.
"I know. I just wish I had a mum or dad that was flesh and blood" Kim told Jack
"You know Kim, Paul loves you and would do anything for you" Jack reassured Kim.
"I know, I think, these past two days gave me time, and I'm ready to see him again, and talk to him. " Kim said to Jack.
"Well after your appointment, we can go to school and see him" Jack told Kim and Kissed her on the cheek. Kim Kissed Jack on the lips, which lasted for a good minute or two, lets just say they had a little make out session, but they where interrupted up Jack mum coming in.
"Ok Romeo, It's time for Juliet to go to bed" May said to the two love birds.
"Ok mum" Jack Said, Kissed Kim on the lips, and walked out. "Night Kimmy" Jack said
"Night Jackie" Kim replied and smiled
"Goodnight Kim" May said.
"Goodnight May" Kim replied. May turned out the lights and left Kim, to fall asleep.
Next morning Kim's POV
I was woken p but the curtains being opened, I stretched and rubbed my eyes.
"Morning sleepy head" Said a female voice that was May
"What time is it" I ask in a sleepy voice
"10am" May replies, I smile but then realise I have the appt at 11
"Why didn't you wake me earlier" I asked
"Cause I didn't, you looked so peaceful, and you needed it" May said
"Thx" I said. I smiled and continued
"Let me help you up" May asked me, bringing my chair over to me
me and may went onto my closet, and chose an out fit out. I choose a denim blue skirt, a long sleeve top, with a pink love hear, and converse shoes cgi/set?id=109630220. I left my hair down and went out to the kitchen to see no one their it was just me and may in the house.
"Um wheres Jack" I asked
"I told him to go to school, and I would drop you off after your appointment if you wanted to go" May told me.
"Ok, Im simply replied
once I had breakfast, or something to eat, we headed out to my doctor appt.
At doctors appt
I'm in the waiting room with may scared out of my mind, what if I can't walk again.
"Ms Crawford" The doctor called out, may got up and pushed me as we followed the doctor.
"Take a seat" The doctor questioned may
"Mrs Brewer, but call me May" she told the doctor
"Well May, are you related to Kim." The doctor asked
"I'm her boyfriends son" She confirmed
"Right, Well If you would like to help my get Kim up onto the bed and we can take a look at her leg." The doctor started.
I got up on to the bed and the doctor took off my cast and examined my leg. while writing down notes. He asked me a few questions. Like how the pain was. ect.
"Well you leg looks pretty good and is healing quicker then I thought. we will put another cast of for a few more weeks, we wont keep you in the chair, we will put you on crutches, but will give you the chair incase you get sore." the doctor told me.
"Thank you" I replied
"So would you like to change colour, or keep the same colour." The doctor asked me.
"I think I'll go with green, this time" I said happily,
"Ok ill be right back with everything to patch your leg up again" Said the doctor.
The doctor came back with in 10 minutes with all the equipment, he patched me up and wrapped the fluero green tape around my cast. gave me some crutches, and I was off, We go to the car, and May helped my in she put the crutched next to me so I could hop out, and the wheel chair in the back, we drove out of the hospitable, and may asked me where I wanted to go. if I wanted to go to school or have another day at home, and that answer was simple, I wanted to stay home, but I new that if I never faced Paul then I wouldn't really know what happened to my mum or dad, so I went with the obvious choice.
"Honey did you wanna go to school or have another day at home" May asked me
"I think I should face the music and go and see Paul" I told may
"Ok" she replied.
We arrived at school and May helped me out and I got my crutches.
"You ok from here" She asked
"Yeah, I need to go and see him" I hold her.
So I went to the secret entrance, in a corridor, when only the grounder keeper is aloud to go. the good thing about that is that I am the grounds keepers garudian. I punched in the code and the lift and went in and got down in to the base in seconds still in my ordinary clothes. When I got in to the base I saw every one, and they where all silent, then thank god, Donna spoke.
"Hey Kim, you got out of your chair" she asked.
"yeah, I still have it, incase" I replied
"What did the doc say" jack asked, trying to keep the conversation going
"Well He said its healing quickly" I said. At this point the gang helped me sit down.
"Guys, can you give me and Paul a minute please" I ask Jack Milton and Donna, They nodded and walked out.
"Are you ok" Was the first thing Paul asked me.
"yeah, I guess" I replied, their was silence for a while then we broke it at the same time.
"Look Im Sorry" Me and Paul said
"You start" again we said at the same. I put my hand out to Paul allowing him to talk.
"Kim i'm sorry, I just didn't want you to get hurt, Your mum is still alive, but she is very, very dangerous" Paul said. I felt said, to know that my own mother betrayed me and to know that she, is dangerous, hurts me. "You are like a daughter to me, and I promised met dad, that I would take good care of you, and to lose you would hurt me, and I wouldn't be able to live with my self" Paul finished.
"I'm sorry to Paul, I shouldn't of disobeyed you," I stared.
"It's ok Kim" Paul said.
"And I think that I have earned my punishment from my actions" I said pointing down at my leg.
"it's ok, Kim. Your safe now and thats all that matters. All I want to know is who was looking at you and where you got those clothes that donna was going on and on about" Paul asked me. I laughed and talked dot him, I told him who i stayed with and what I did for those two days. honestly, it was one of those talks that you had with your father, we talked and talked, It was on of the best talks I have had since my dad died that didn't have any talk about missions and planning. Me and Paul kept talking like this and decided to take the wag the rest of the day and go and have lunch and talk some more. and thats how I liked it, just us talking not having to worry about, any missions or anything else. He asked me whats being happening since well I was 15, because ever since then Its being all about missions and nothing else. I told him about me and Jack, and as a usual father or male gaudian is like, he want to make sure that Jack was treating me right and that since being both on the team, we would make sure we focus on missions when we are down with him, I agreed. Missons were important to me to, because it meant so much to my dad, but I also wanted to have a normal life. I asked Paul, how I could get out of class when I was called he, gave me a few Idea that he used. so I took them into consideration. once we had lunch, we decided to head to Jack house to pick up my things and then head back to My actual house. we had dinner, and I went to bed in my own bed. It was good to back in my house knowing that I had made up with Paul, and everything was ok, and that my mother was still alive.
