We ended up in a huge arcade place. "What a lovely place to take a girl" I commented, which caused the guys to give me a weird look. I guess I must have sounded sarcastic, whoops. "So what are we going to do first?" I asked trying to have more excitement in my voice.
Since I had never played before, we went with laser tag. It was me, Chris, and Pj vs Dan and Phil. Because I had never played, I was kind of at a disadvantage but Pj and Chris helped me out a bunch. My strategy was hiding in the corners and shooting when Dan or Phil came by, and surprisingly we won. "That was great! You did great!" Pj said as we exitted the laser tag area. I blushed a bit and hoped no one noticed.
Before we knew it, the arcade was closing so we went out for drinks. I had recently turned 18 so it was great that I could legally drink here. The problem with me and drinking though is, I don't know when to stop until it's too late. That there has gotten me into so many horrible situations, so I was hoping that wouldn't happen tonight.
Lucky for me, we were only there for a short period of time, just enough to have a few drinks and converse. "So I guess it's about time we escorted a lovely lady back to her dorm?" Pj asked, taking my arm all gentlemen-like. I wasn't ready to go back to that place, with my weird roommate and that boring atmosphere. "Actually, I don't even have to go back on weekends, just as long as I'm back by Sunday I'm good!" I said smiling real big. They understood what I was implying but shot it down, "Maybe some other time" Pj said and ruffled my hair. I was a little disappointed but a little releaved.
They walked me back to the entrance of my dorm building and I hugged all of them goodbye, "Thanks for a great night guys" I said before turning to walk into the building. Suddenly I felt a tug on my arm and I turned around to see everyone walking away except Pj, he leaned down and kissed my check, "I hope we can do this again real soon" he said with a smile. I felt myself blush bright red and stumble with my words, "uh yeah that'd be nice" I managed to get out. "Until then m'lady" he said and did one of those bow things, then ran to catch up with the guys.
I walked very fast up to my room and crashed on my bed. My face was still burning hot so I pressed it against the cold side of my pillow and squeeled. Tonight was wonderful, tonight was perfect, tonight was- "Hey roomie, where ya been?" came my roommates voice. -over, tonight was now officially over. I pretended to pass out and hoped that she would leave me alone. Very soon, though, I really did pass out.
