Yugi was nervously pacing back and forth. Atem was going to call soon, to see how his first few days had been in the house. Atem had texted him this a while ago, and Yugi was nervous. How could he possibly explain to Atem that he was pregnant, without Atem killing Yami?
"Aibou, calm down" Yami said.
"Yami, how am I going to explain this to him?! He'll kill you!" Yugi exclaimed.
"Then don't tell him, okay? Everything'll be fine, alright" Yami said. Yugi stopped pacing. He sat beside Yami on the couch.
"I'm calm" Yugi sais after a few seconds.
"Good" Yami said. The phone rang. "It's Atem" Yami said. Yugi took a deep breath, and Yami handed him the phone.
"Hi 'Temmy" Yugi said.
"Hey Yugi. How are you?" Atem asked.
"I'm good. I'm good" Yugi said.
"How are things with Yami? Has he tried anything with you?" Atem asked.
"No" Yugi said nervously.
"Yugi, is there something you're not telling me?" Atem
"Nope!" Yugi said. He hung up.
"Aibou, that wasn't nice" Yami said.
"He asked if you had tried anything with me, and if there was something I wasn't telling him" Yugi said.
"Oh" Yami said. The phone rang again. Yugi answered.
"Did you hang up on me?" Atem asked.
"I don't know. Did it sound like this?" Yugi asked, hanging up again. Yugi put the phone in it's holder, and sat beside Yami again.
"Aibou, we'll get through this. I promise" Yami assured.
"I'm just worried, Yami. I mean, one, I'm pregnant with your child, and two, we aren't even engaged. If Atem finds out, he will literally kill you" Yugi said.
"Well, we don't have to worry. Becau-"
"What do you mean we don't have to worry? Yami, I'm nervous and I'm scared, and-" Yugi was interruped by Yami kissing him. Yugi closed his eyes. Yami closed his eyes, and gently brought Yugi into his lap. He softly cupped Yugi's cheeks. Once they needed air, the two broke apart. Yami gently held Yugi close. Ryou, Malik, Marik and Bakura came into the room and sat on the other couch.
"Yugi. Listen. Yami has something very important that he's been waiting for" Ryou said.
"What is it?" Yugi asked Yami. Yami got off the couch.
"Before you interrupted me, I was going to say that we don't have to worry about one of those things. I've been waiting for the right time, and now seems better than ever." Yami said. He got down on one knee, and pulled out a red velvet box. He opened it, revealing a sliver-banded ring with a glittering amethyst jewel. "Aibou. I want to be there for you when you have our child. I want to be by your side for the rest of your life. I will never betray you. I will never leave you behind. I will always defend you. Will you make me the happiest man alive, by letting me take your hand in marriage?" Yami asked. Tears welled in Yugi's eyes.
"Yes, Yami. I will marry you!" Yugi said happily. Yami gently took Yugi's hand and slid the ring on his finger. Yugi and Yami kissed each other happily. They pulled apart after a while.
"Well, we can check one worry of our list" Yami chuckled lightly. Yugi smiled and nodded.
"I'm still scared and worried, Yami" Yugi said. Yami sat beside Yugi again.
"I know you are. So am I. I'm not only worried about myself, but I'm also worried for you. A lot of things are going to be changing. But I know we can get through them all, good and bad" Yami said. Yugi nodded.
"I love you Yami" Yugi said.
"I love you too, Yugi" Yami said.
"Get a room!" Bakura said.
"Kura!" Ryou said sharply. Yami chuckled.
"It's alright, Ryou" Yami said.
"Yeah. We don't mind. It's just in his nature" Yugi giggled.
"Okay" Ryou said. Just then, Yugi's phone vibrated, signaling he got a text. He looked at his phone, and gulped.
Atem- Yugi. I want you to tell me what's up. I'm not giving you a choice, here. I'm picking you up soon, and we're going out for lunch
