I do not own Saint Row or Just Cause this is a story just for fun.
Rico received a phone call from Sheldon to meet him at a gun shop called Friendly Fire. Sheldon told Rico that he had used the gun shop to ship a powerful sniper rifle from the Agency to Stilwater. Rico arrived and saw Sheldon with Dex and Troy. Rico joined them as a saleswoman showed them all the sniper rifle. Poseidon Alley in the Docks & Warehouses District.
"This is the "McManus". As you see, it's fully collapsible and comes in a stately black attaché. The 18" cryogenically treated stainless steel bull barrel gives this rifle a guaranteed accuracy of .2 minute of angle at 600 yards with match grade ammunition. With its hand reamed chamber and match grade trigger, the "McManus" is designed for the marksman who wants to reach out and touch someone at a moment's notice."
"I'll take it." Said Sheldon.
"Lovely. Would you like it gift wrapped?" Said the saleswomen.
"No, that's okay." Said Sheldon.
"Great, let me run this." Said the saleswomen as she went run the the purchase through the computer.
Dex turned to talk to Rico.
"Tight job on that lab, dawg. We found a memo sayin' that Hector is meetin' with the Colombians tonight. With the amount of firepower that going to be there, just showing up and rushin' 'em would be suicide. Take "McManus" here and get to the docks. Find a nice tall building and wait. When Hector makes his move with the Colombians, take your shot." Said Dex.
"When it all goes down, the first place the Carnales is gonna look is right at the Colombians. They're gonna think they got screwed bad. Aight. You should have no problem sneaking out in the confusion." Said Troy.
"Just the same, I'd get the hell out of there. Who knows what could happen." Said Dex.
"Now get going Poseidon Alley in the Docks & Warehouses District. That's where the deals going down. Time to start lighting a fire under their feet." Said Sheldon as the saleswomen returned.
"I'm on it." Said Rico as he took the sniper rifle and left the store.
Rico hoped into a purple Convertible and headed towards the docks. He arrived at the docks and climbed up to the roof of a nearby warehouse and waited for his target. About ten minutes latter a convoy of red Convertible followed by a three sedans rolling up to the docks.
"It's show time." Said Rico as he got ready to shoot.
Hector got out of his Convertible as the dozen men he brought with him got out of their sedans. Hecto had armed his to the teeth. Four of them were carrying RPGs, while the rest were armed with heavy machine guns. Hector wasn't taking any chances today, he was going to see that the deal was done and that their were no problems, he checked to see that his pistol was fully loaded and easy to get. Satisfied he made sure he had a long knife on hand just in case things got up close and personal. Satisfied with that he ordered his men to spread out.
"Lets get this deal over with." Said Hector as he and two of his men carrying guns and suitcases full of drugs headed down the docks.
On the other side of the docks a dozen men wearing white suits and red flowered shirts came out of a nearby warehouse at the other side of the docks. Two of the men were carrying suitcases full of money.
Both groups family approached one another. Rico took careful aim aim as the two groups got closer to one another. Hecto nodded to one of his men to exchange one of the suitcase with one of the Columbians carrying the money. As the two men exchanged suitcases Rico aimed his sniper rifle at the Carnale with the briefcase and fired. The bullet flew forward and hit the Carnale in the head making him fall to the ground with a huge bloody hole in his head! Everybody starred at the dead Carnale in shock. Finally one of the other Carnale thugs spoke.
"It's a double cross! Kill them!" Screamed the thug.
Immediately both gangsters and Columbians started to shoot at one another with their guns. Hector pulled out his gun and shot one of the Columbians in the head before retreating back to the other of the docks to join the rest of his gang. It was at that moment that Hector glanced up in Rico's direction and saw the agent. Hector screamed and waved at one of his RPG men to shoot Rico. The man was turning towards Rico, but Rico quickly fired a shot sending a bullet through the man's skull killing him. Hector leaped behind his car for cover and became lost from view. A couple of Carnales got killed by some Columbians. One of the RPG welders fired a rocket and killed four Columbians. Rico took out the RPG welder with a shot to the head. The fighting continued for several minutes. Rico took out the RPG thugs and picked off a couple of Columbians. After awhile there were only three Columbians left. The remaining Columbians decided to retreat. Only a couple of Carnales were left alive they chased after the Columbians firing their guns. Rico took the Carnales out, with his sniper rifle. Now all there was left to deal with was Hector.
"Where are you." Said Rico as he surveyed the scene below.
Suddenly Hector stepped out from behind a car with an RPG in his hands and pointed at the warehouse Rico was on!
"DIE!" Shouted Hector as he fired his RPG!
Rico dropped his sniper rifle and ran, he shot his garbling hook at a nearby building and sailed away a few seconds before the roof he was on exploded into a gigantic fireball! Rico lowered himself to the ground as smoke from the explosion covered the scene. Rico pulled out his pistol and made his way forward looking for Hector.
Hector dropped the RPG and pulled out his pistol and his knife. He had no idea who this man was or who he worked for. Hector planned to capture and torture the man for answers. It didn't matter who the man worked for Hector was going to get answers. He made his way through the smoke looking for his prey.
"I don't know who you are pal, but you picked the wrong guy to screw with! Do you know who I am? I am Hector Lopez! I own this freaking city! When I'm done with you your going to be begging for death!" Shouted Hector as he peered through the smoke.
Rico was walking through the smoke, when he heard a gun click, he immediately ducked and dived in the direction the gun was fired. The bullet whistled over his head. Rico slammed into Hector and they both slammed into the ground with Hector on the ground and Rico on top. Both Rico and Hector's guns slid away from them.
"Hector you and your business are officially being shut down!" Shouted Rico as he slammed a fist into Hector's face busting his lip.
"Your a tough piece of shit! You won't be the first guy to interfere in my business! Tell me who sent you, so I can deliver parts of your worthless hide to them piece by piece!" Said Hector as he spat some of his blood in Rico's face!
Rico closed his eyes to avoid getting blood in them. Hector took this as an advantage to shove Rico off of him and pull out his knife. Hector slashed at Rico, but the the agent heard the whistling of the knife and dodged out of the way. Rico shot to his feet wiping the blood from his face and pulling out his knife.
"Lets dance!" Shouted Hector as he charged forward swing his blade.
Rico took a steady stance and deflected Hector's attacks, he then moved forward and slashed Hector across the face leaving a couple of scars across his face. Hector cursed in pain as he backed away from Rico. The enraged gangster glared at Rico as he let out an animal howl and charged forward with a thrust. Rico sidestepped the thrust and stabbed his knife into Hector's chest with a sick crunch sound! Hector's eyes bulged as Rico pulled his knife out of Hector's chest. A red stain was spreading across Hector's chest.
"You...son...of...a bitch!" Gasped Hector as he dropped his knife and fell to his back.
Rico starred down at the dead Hector and pulled out his cellphone. He got Sheldon on the line.
"The deal was ruined and Hector is dead." Said Rico.
"Good job Rico that'll really mess up the Carnales operations. Return to base." Said Sheldon.
Rico hung up and left the docks. Thirty minutes latter the cops showed up and secure the scene. Unbeknownst to the cops Victor had snuck in trying to figure out what was going on. The big enforcer listened in on a conversation between a policeman and a policewomen.
"That was a hell of a tip." Said the policeman.
"No kiddin', with the amount of shit we confiscated we could've put Lopez away for the rest of his life." Said the policewomen.
"It don't matter, he got taken care of anyway." Said the policeman.
"Whaddya mean?" Asked the policewomen.
" Chief Monroe's just happy Lopez is dead, as far as he's concerned this case is closed... hell if he found the guy who did this he'd probably send him a fruit basket." Said the policeman.
Vector left the scene having heard what he needed to hear, he knew that Hector was dead and he had an idea who was responsible for his death. He quickly pulled out his phone Angelo.
At the mansion Angelo and Avalos were making out in the bedroom, when the phone rang and Angelo answered it.
"Hello. Hey-hey Victor, I'm in the middle of something - What? WHAT!?" Screamed Angelo as he sat up in the bed. "Victor, listen to me very carefully. I don't give a fuck about the drugs, I don't give a fuck about Orejuela-"
"What about Manuel?" Asked Avalos.
"¡Mira mujer! ¡Cállate el hocico! (Look woman! Shut up your mouth!) Who did this to my brother?" Said Angelo.
"What about Hector?" Asked Avalos with concern.
"Luz, por favor! (Luz, please!) Okay, okay, you're right. You deal with the Saints, I'll handle the Colombians. If Manuel is behind this yo le voy a enseñar a él por qué la familia López es la más fuerte (I'm going to teach him why the López family is the strongest.)" Declared Angelo with a mad look in his eye.
The death of Hector spread like wildfire on the news. Jack Armstrong was interviewing police Chief Monroe.
"I'm Jack Armstrong. At a news conference today, Stilwater Police Chief Richard Monroe decried the recent gang violence at the waterfront and commented on the assassination of local Hispanic businessman and reputed gang leader, Hector Lopez." Said Jack.
"This is just another example of the type of criminal behavior that we are working hard to eliminate. We have seized the ill-gotten goods that these thugs were trying to slip into our city. If that's two or three million dollars worth of poison that won't be going into the arms and lungs of the youth of Stilwater. Now while death is always tragic, Hector Lopez chose to live a life of crime and he paid for that choice dearly." Said Monroe.
"Chief Armstrong noted that the case against the Los Carnales crime gang will proceed based on the evidence now securely stowed in the evidence lockers at police headquarters. We will bring you gavel-to-gavel coverage of the ensuing trial and will follow this story closely as it develops. In the newsroom, I'm Jack Armstrong." Said Jack.
A critical blow had been stuck to the Carnales, but the war was far from over.
To be continued.
