A/N- I'm barely writing now and I'm really sorry about that! I just got another job, which is giving me more shifts at the moment and so I haven't had time to really write or think about what I should be writing. As well as that, University starts on the 24th, and after talking to my boss and finding out I'm only going to school for three days, he wants me to work three days and so there's going to be even less time to write T.T

But please don't forget to review! :D :D

PS. I'm writing this late at night so if there are any mistakes or if I've accidentally said Hermione instead of Emma (I'm sure I got rid of most of them when I needed to) then I'm sorry!

It's not looking good for me at the moment in terms of time. I'll really try not to give up since I have a plan for this. But for those that are reading Young Cub… I don't know what's going to happen to it. I don't have a plan for it anymore and I don't know where I want to take it exactly anymore. I'll try to keep writing for it, but it's getting hard for me to be motivated to write it. I'm really sorry.

Disclaimer- the same.

Chapter 7

Remus woke up the next morning naked in the Shrieking Shack. His mouth screamed for water and he scrambled towards the wrecked bed for the bottle of water and tray of food that he assumed James and Sirius had left over for him. They're the only ones that seem to make my time a lot easier when Moony takes over. Sipping the water slowly and allowing it to slowly quench his thirst he sighed in relief as he grabbed his clothes and changed into them. Slowly he made his way out of the shack and back to Hogwarts, avoiding all the students that he could.

Upon reaching the boys dormitory he realised that most of the students where asleep- save for James who was getting changed quickly. At this Remus couldn't help but raise a brow, his curiosity plastered onto his face as James looked at him.

"I'm meeting up with Lily before breakfast" He replied, looking away and blushing.

It took Remus a few seconds as to realise why his friend was blushing, but when he did he couldn't help but splutter and laugh a bit, despite his exhaustion.

"Well mate, you better not forget about those spells." Remus said as he pat his friends back before making his way towards his bed, slamming onto it and falling asleep, falling completely oblivious to James as he snuck out of the room.

Breakfast came too early for Remus as he groggily stood up from his soft… warm… luscious bed. It was always like this the morning after transformation, the bed always seemed so much softer. Now you need to get up! You have a class with Emma after breakfast, she'll make things better. At the thought of seeing Emma he quickly got out of bed fully refreshed and ready for the day- well as ready as one could be after becoming a werewolf the night before. Remus couldn't wait to see Emma as he realised that he was slowly developing feelings for the bushy haired muggleborn. The only thing that worried him was how she would react if she found out about his 'hairy' problem. Was she going to be like the other girls and run away in fear, making Professor Dumbledore have to obliviate their memories and Remus would have to act like everything was alright until it broke his heart and he would just never talk to them again. But he didn't want Emma to act like the other girls. He couldn't bare to lose someone like her.

"She'll be worth it if she accepts us… Except she's already taken as I told you." Mooney said to him inside his mind. "Someone else already owns her."

"No. If she was she wouldn't be so open. I swear she has to have feelings for me too. She… She acts like it," He replied

"She is not our mate!"

"I don't care about this mate bullshit! I like her and I want to date her is possible. I could care less about that mate crap!"

"Fine then you silly human. Don't say I didn't tell you though. The man she belongs to is dangerous… I can feel it,"

Before Remus could ask Mooney what he meant, their connection was cut off. At this Remus growled in frustration as he packed his books for the day, eager to forget about what his wolf had just told him.

Breakfast passed by and there was no sign of Emma at the Gryffindor table. Upon asking Lily, all she could say was that the curtains around Emma's bed were spelled to stay closed. At this Lily proposed that perhaps Emma needed her time off since all girls needed it. At this, Remus' shoulders slumped ever so slightly, disappointed that he probably wouldn't see her at all today. There was nothing he could do about it however and so he ended up just making his way to potions with the rest of the gang.

"Where the hell is she?" Snape snapped at Remus and the group as they arrived at the dungeons.

"Who are you looking for Snivellous?" James sneered. "Who would want to go near you?"

"James stop it!" Lily whispered harshly at James, lightly slapping his shoulder as she gave Snape an apologetic look. "Who are you looking for Severus?"

"Emma, where is she? She needs to work on the antidote roughly the same pace I'm working on the Veritaserum so they finish at the same time."

"You can handle it yourself for today can't you? Emma isn't feeling too well I don't think. She left her curtains around her bed locked."

"… Fine. But tell her that she can't always do this. I don't want to fail due to her incompetence" With that, Snape stormed into class and continued to work on the Veritaserum as well as the antidote.

So Hermione is missing… I need to tell the Dark Lord about this as soon as possible. If something's wrong with her I'm going to get killed for not saying anything! He continued to cut and crush up all the necessary ingredients as quickly as he could as he thought back to the scene outside of the classroom. He could tell from their expressions that they weren't sure themselves about 'Emma' and if she actually was in bed, and because of this, it was better to be safe than sorry and tell the Dark Lord. I need to tell Lucius when I can.

Hermione woke up only to find herself with bones and skulls still. Quickly gaining her composure and remembering the reason why she was in this place in the first place she began to panic. Shit! How long have I been here? Dear Merlin how do I explain this one to Remus and the others without being suspicious? She scrambled through her brain to find an answer, only being able to come up with Dumbledore as a logical conclusion. With nothing else to go with, she made her way back to the exits of the Chamber.

Remus sat in the deserted common room reading his latest book… Well trying to anyways. The entire day he had been worried about Emma, she hadn't come out of the girl's bedroom yet and Lily couldn't get past the spells she had placed around her curtains. What was wrong with her? The doors to the Common Room suddenly opened and it grabbed his attention.

"Emma!" He cried, completely ignoring the book and running to her and hugging her. "Where have you been? We've been worried sick!"

"Sorry…" she replied, her voice sounding dry. "Do you have any water? I forgot to stop by the kitchens on the way here."

"Sure!" Remus quickly went to his bag and pulled out a bottle of water and handed it to Emma, who drank it gratefully. "Wait.. You know where the kitchens are?" He watched as Emma froze mid-way from her drinking, putting it down and wiping off any excess water on her lips.

"I… I was with Dumbledore the entire day and he showed me where it was. Sorry that I didn't tell you guys before."

He mulled over her reasoning for a few seconds, and seeing as she had no reason to lie, easily believed her. "No worries, you're going to have to explain to Lily and the others however. Lily's been worried sick since she couldn't open up your bed curtains."

"Ahhh yes about that, sorry but I just wanted you guys to believe for today that I was stuck in bed and just didn't want to talk to anyone."

"Makes sense, you should go now though. I'm sure you're tired."

"Yeah, thanks. I actually am," He watched as Emma walked up the stairs and only then did he really notice the state of her clothes. They were covered in dirt and were torn in some pieces, causing him to question. What did she do with Dumbledore?
