I had some trouble with where this story was supposed to go after that little cliffhanger I left you with. So after a long time of wondering where to go, I finally figured it out.

"I knew that was going to be a bad idea, Kagome-"
"Well, I didn't think she would throw up and practically pass out..." Kagome said patting Rin's back as she hovered a toilet in the women's room. "It was just a joke."
"Yes, but that joke was a little bit too much,"
"Well, I didn't see you being so against it when you completely went along with it."
"I just thought that you were gonna call her a whore or something playful, not to threaten her future with a fake pregnancy!"
"I didn't think she was going to believe me!"
"Well what else is she supposed to do? You've been down this road!-"
"Hey!" Rin shouted to shut them both up. "How about you're both bitches," she breathed as she sat up after everything had come up. "Okay? Now you're even," she was sitting down and holding her head.
"I'm sorry, Rin. I didn't think that it would scare you at all..."
"We just thought that your heart would drop a little bit-"
"Why wouldn't the phrase "You're pregnant" scare the living shit out of me?" she said with wide eyes. "I did God know's what with some... demon-man-thing whose dog is in love with mine, and my best friend, who is also "mates" with a demon-man-thing tells me that I am pregnant because she obviously has experience in, said, field of demon-men-thingy's... Why would I freak the fuck out?!"
"Oh my God, Rin calm the hell down!" Kagome backed away shielding herself with her hands.
"Freaking out this bad will only make you sick-" Sango looked in the toilet. "...sicker... flush the damn toilet."
"I'm sorry Rin. How am I supposed to know you're pregnant? I wasn't knocked up with my first time. And even if you were, do you think that us, your friends, would tell you in that way?" Kagome tilted her head. "Give us some credit."
Rin deeply exhaled in agreement. "Okay, okay. Just... I'm still getting used to all of this-" she says as Kagome helps her up.
"I know, but things will get better." Kagome was honest with a smile.
"Now I'm gonna be extra paranoid. What if I am pregnant and I don't even know it yet?"
"That you will have to talk to him about. Dog Demons know stuff like that. That is a conversation for you and Sesshomaru."
"Oooohhhh I don't wanna talk to him about that... stuff!" Rin wines as they leave the restaurant with their drinks.
"Well, I hope you will..." Kagome throwing her drink away.
"Yeah, he would be the hypothetical father of your children after all." Sango says sipping her drink.
"Nooo, no, no, no, no, no-"
"Hey," Kagome sprouted a brilliant idea. "How about we go out for drinks tonight,"
"Oh, I don't know my kids are starting a project for school."
"And I haven't let Ah out all day."
"My treat!" Kagome smiled.
Sango and Rin looked at each other.
"Miroku can watch the kids."
"Well I don't know..." Rin started to become saddened.
"Oh come on Rin! I want to make up for my stupid joke. No more surprises. Just good friendly fun! "
"Free drinks, Rin. What is wrong with you?"
Rin looks down and holds her stomach. "I don't don't want to endanger my unborn baby..." she gave huge puppy dog eyes to her friends.
"You little snot!" Kagome said as the girls guided her back to her work to get off early.

"So are you excited about the twin's birthday party this weekend?" Kagome says as they walk into a tame bar.
"Oh yeah. They are going to be so excited about their new pet. Thank you Rin for helping."
"No, thank you for adopting. I am so glad that she is going to a home where she is going to be loved and treated right!" Rin was nothing but smiles as they got comfortable at a booth.
"Hello ladies," a flirtatious waiter came to them. "Girl's night out, I see." he was extremely cute.
"Well hello there." Kagome brought her flirt on playfully. "3 shots of Rupplements, if you please, and keep 'em coming. It's going to be an interesting tab."
"Anything for the hottest ladies in the bar," he says with such an adorable smile.
"Umm, just two please... I will just have a Piña Colada, virgin, please."
"Yes ma'am." he said before running to the bar and getting their order.
"Umm, hello, drinks means full of alcohol and having some fun." Kagome says elbowing Sango.
"Yeah. You said "free drinks Rin" and shoved me in your car!" Rin added.
"Well someone has to drive you two home, and no one else is here." Sango smiles as the bar tender comes back with their drinks.
Kagome scoffed. "Come on Sango, not even one shot?"
"No," Sango became more serious.
"You're laaame!" Rin said holding her shot glass up in a giggle.
"Yeah, you lameo!" Kagome clinked her shot glass with Rin's as they both downed it in one swallow.
"Well, unlike you two, I can have fun without getting shit-faced drunk."
"Two more, sir!" Kagome said holding two fingers up.
"And what are you gonna do?" Rin asks.
"I get the pleasure of watching you two get drunk. Do you have any idea how fun that is?" Sango smiles. "I wanna be sober for that. It's so worth it."
"Whatever!" Rin says with a loud laugh.
"Yeah, don't even try to cover New years last year!" Kagome called her out.
"Okay... okay..." she says admitting that one time event. "I'll tell you what. How about I record you and see what you think of your degrading selves."
"Go ahead," Kagome said.
"I don't have anything to hide." Rin added.
"Okay, so you don't mind if I put it on the internet as well. I'm glad we're all on the same page."
"SANGO!"
"Go ahead ladies. Have fun."
"I will as soon as I get his number." Rin said looking to the handsome man behind the bar. He smiled back at her with a wink. "Oh he's cute."
"Cute and off limits." Kagome says taking a sip of Sango's drink.
"Hey. Get your own!"
"What do you mean off limits? I don't see a ring on that finger."
"Yeah, but that spot on your neck might as well be yours."
Rin frowned in an instant. "Damn." the huffed before he came back with other drinks.
"Here you go ladies. Tell me what you think of these." the handsome bartender came back with three drinks.
"Oh, but we didn't-"
"On the house. Something I made just for you ladies." he insisted. "Alcohol free in yours, milady," he playfully whispered to Sango.
"Thank you." Sango said with a wide smile.
"These certainly look wonderful." Rin said in a lovely voice.
"Well, not nearly as wonderful as you ladies look." he replied smoothly before winking. "Enjoy."
"Oh, my life sucks." Rin says staring at his butt as he walked away.
"Look all you want, Rin. We can look all we want." Sango said to make her feel better.
"And remember the sex. That's what I do sometimes when me and Inuyasha are in a fight and I wanna break up with him, then I remember I can't..." Kagome was honest. "But... If you thought what you had last night was good, imagine angry make-up sex." Kagome looked at Rin seductively. "Before you know it, you will be starting fight's with him."
Rin sort of resonated with that, she supposed, and just nodded in appeasement wanting to drop the subject.
"But I don't just want that. I want heart, too." she can't drop it. "I want kindness. I want someone who will love me no matter what. I want someone who isn't afraid to open up and dance. I want someone who will want my children. I want someone to take my bullshit. I want more than sex."
"Who says he doesn't have any of that?" Sango says taking a drink of his special mix. "Mmmmm. this is GOOD."
"Yeah Rin, at least give him a chance and start enjoying it. Before you know it, you be in love with him." Kagome takes a sip of hers. "All of him-this IS good! Wow!"
"Okay." Rin nodded in seriousness. "I suppose wishful thinking is good enough for now." Rin smiles taking a drink of hers. "Holy crap that's delicious!"

It was a lovely Saturday morning at the large children's play park. The wind was perfect, the sky was sunny and bright, it was the perfect day for Sango and Miroku's twins Haya and Rai to have their birthday party! All of their friends and family came as well as several of their parent's friends which included the twin's friend Shippo, Inuyasha, Kagome, Rin and, surprisingly, Sesshomaru.
He insisted on going with her. He suggested Ah stay with Un and he would accompany Rin to this ridiculous 8 year old birthday party. No matter how much Rin protested, Sesshomaru wouldn't have it. As he often explained to her before, he needed to be around her. He was going to be next to her, rather she liked it or not.
And she liked it.
No matter how much she hated it.
Kids played on the playground, played tag, and there were friendly gestures everywhere, and for an 8 year old party, it was pretty awesome. The closer it came to blowing out candles, the closer it came to opening presents. That's what Miroku and Sango was waiting for.
How they were able to keep a kitten hidden from their kids is BEYOND them, but they did, for three days straight. They are apparently good at keeping secrets, like cats and... other secret stuff...
"Okay! Everyone gather around! It's time for the girls to blow out their candles!" Sango waved and yelled to get everyone's attention. "Come on guys!" she smiles as all the kids run from the playground and gather around the popular girls. "Okay- 1, 2, and 3-"
"Happy birthday to you, Happy birthday to youuu..." everyone sang in unison for the girls special day. Each girl got their own small cake so they could blow out their own candles, but they were like puzzle pieces and you could also put the two cakes together as one.
When the wishes were wished, and the candles were blown out, everyone clapped and whistled as camera's snapped from the phones of Sango, Kagome, and Rin. The girls opened their presents one at a time, gathering laughter and silliness from their friends.
"So when are you bringing out the live bait," Inuyasha asked Miroku.
"It will be the last present. Sango likes to save the best things for last."
"Like her saving the news that she is pregnant?" Inuyasha was extremely quiet about said information.
Miroku's eyes popped out of his sockets. "How on earth do you even know that?" there was no use hiding.
"He can smell the human inside of her, as well as I." Sesshomaru added his two sense.
"Oh man. she is going to be so mad when she finds out someone knows... Inuyasha you better not-"
"Aah, relax, will ya? I ain't gonna tell anyone."
"Not even Kagome." he buzzed through his teeth.
"Alright, alright. Just calm the hell down."
Miroku was going to request the same of Sesshomaru but he was already gone. But Miroku trusted Sesshomaru more than he trusted Inuyasha.
"Okay!" Sango's smile was absolutely glowing. "Time for mommy and daddy's present. Are you ready?"
"Absolutely!"
"Yay!" Both girls were completely excited to see what their parents got them.
"Okay." she says as Miroku comes out with his hands behind his back.
"You know what, I don't they're they're ready, mom." Miroku says leading the group of kids on.
"You know, I think you are right, Dad. I don't think they are ready for this surprise. They don't seem very excited. I don't hear anyone saying anything..." she shrugged as all the kids started to cheer to see the present that they hid from the group. The cheering turned into chanting and the twins did their very best to stay in their seats.
After the agonizing wait for about 10 seconds, Miroku finally turned over his hands from behind his back to show a very cute and very awesome baby kitten!
All the girls in the audience squealed in happiness as the twins ran up to the present. They couldn't believe it!
"Haya! It's the kitten!" Rai said.
"The kitten from the shelter!" Rai smiled in glee.
Both girls hugged their parents in utter happiness!
"Just what we wanted! Thank you!" they had a habit of saying in unison.
"Do you have a name for her?" Miroku said kneeling to give the kitten to one of the girls.
The girls look to each other and shouted together. "Kirara!" they had been thinking about this name for some time now.
For the remainder of the party, kids played on the playground, had eaten endless cake and loved on the kitten that resided in a box with a blanket until they would take her home forever. The adults had a good time talking and wondering how they hid a kitten. And as Sango and Miroku told their story, Rin was in the middle of the group and in charge of the kitten since she was originally from her shelter. She was an absolute natural with all animals and kids, showing them things about the kitten, where she like to be pet and let kids hold her. Sesshomaru couldn't take his eyes off of her for a single moment.
She smiled when one of the kids said something funny, it was completely intoxicating. And to watch her be around with children... It drove him crazy. Watching her care for the animal, wrangle children, and painstakingly unable to get the smell of a secret child in Sango's stomach out of his nose, desperately wanting that scent to belong to none other than Rin... Oh man, he was about to lose it. He has kept his composure many a time around her, but now that she knows of their bond, everything was making his mind blurr, and his senses heighten.
He needed to speak with her.
Now.
"Rin," he suddenly says approaching her and the litter of children at her side.
"Yes, Sesshomaru," her smile was natural with a cute little kitten and eager kids around her.
"I need to speak with you. Now. Privately." he says before turning around, expecting her to follow.
She took a deep breath, internally feeling what he had to say was serious. Smiling, she gives the kitten to one of the twins and leaves with promises to be right back.
Following him, he leads her into private pavilion, shaded and secluded from the rest of the park, no one able to peek at them or have a chance to disrupt him at all. Perfect place to have a rather private conversation.
"Sesshomaru, is there something wrong-"
In that instant he shoves his body up against her, forcing her body to become pinned against the wall. She gasped in surprise before he crushed their lips together in vigor. He wouldn't it, of course he could, but he didn't want to, he didn't have to. So he just devoured her.
She, however tried to push him away. This was not the time and definitely not the place for this. She is slowly but surely slipping from her own consciousness with every kiss and every lick, but she can't do this at a child's birthday party.
"Sess-" he forbid her to speak, gnawing his fingers in her hair practically swallowing her whole. But she was able to say at least something. "We...-oh God..." he was becoming dangerously close to her tender spot. Eventually snaking a hand under her blouse, he desperately needed to feel her skin against his, he needed to touch every inch of her, he needed to take what belonged to him... He was going to explode if they didn't mate then and there.
"Sess-homaru..." she whispered. He wouldn't listen. "Sesshomaru..." she managed to speak louder. "We... we can't.." she says as she somehow snakes her hands up to his cheeks and behind his ears, resting her hands at his neck to try and see reason. She uses every single fabric of strength of her body to stop; stop him. "No." she was more stern.
His sensation stopped instantly, stopping cold turkey. He looked at her almost in anger at her audacity. Did she just tell him no?
Yet her eyes were full of meaning. "Not here..." she only had the strength of a whisper.
...
He just paused as if life stood still. He looked into her eyes, so deep as if he were trying to read into her soul.
She smiles at him.
He had to kiss her... But he parts from her.
"Don't smile at me," he whispers in warning. "I can only control it to a degree, woman." he says forcing himself away from her as he walks away.
That was when she was able to breathe.
"And you said that I needed to learn control." she still relied on the wall to keep her standing.
"Says the woman who can't stand straight after a simple kiss."
"Simple k-..." oooh... "Just you wait, Mr. Inutakahashi..."
He made her aware that he did indeed hear her with the quirk of an eyebrow. "Is that a challenge?"
"Oooh. I am supposed to hate you, remember?! Now leave me alone!" she says looking away from, him in a huff. He couldn't help but give a slight grin before returning to observing humans in their natural habitat.
Rin made herself look presentable before making her way back as well, firmly set on pretending that, that didn't happen.
Oh, ho ho, but did it happen... And someone else caught sight of it too...

Heh heh heh... I guess that I have a little explaining to do... I am eventually going to be hunted down and killed if I don't stop with these cliffhangers. Please don't hurt me...
Do you know how long it took me to find the freaking word "Pavilion"? DO YOU! It took me half an hour! Half an hour! WTF?! I couldn't remember what it was called so I called my mom, she couldn't remember, I call my sister, she couldn't remember, call my brother, he doesn't even care... And only then did I decide to use my brain and go to freaking google like an intelligent person... FOR ONCE. Wow.
So apparently Sango is pregnant. Really, after 3 kids, it's just becomes a thing after a few rounds.
Do you like the twin's names? I thought that they were cute. If I remember correctly, "Haya" means cherry blossom, and "Rai" means plumb blossom. I thought those were cute for those girls. XD
If you were disappointed that you didn't see Rin drunk, read my other story "The Omoiyari Newspaper". She gets good and drunk and it's pretty funny.
