"So how are things with big Sexy?" Kagome asks waltzing right on in to the Animal shelter with Koga by her side.
"And a good morning to you, too, Kagome." Rin was less than amused. "How's the half breed?" Rin nonchalantly tilts her head to the side.
"Ouch," Kagome dramatically holds her heart. "You're starting to catch up to my insults. Stop!"
"Okay, Rin. I am off to my Doctor's appointment. I will be back in about an hour," Kaede says with a friendly smile.
"Okay," Rin smiles hugging her motherly boss. "Get a good report! Fighting!" Rin pumped a small fist in the air.
"I will certainly try. Ooh, you have someone to help you while I'm gone. That's good." she smiles to Kagome as she heads for the door. "See you soon!"
"Bye!" Rin waves, giggling in a smile. "What do you want?" her face became serious in an instant.
"You heard Ms. Kaede. I am here to help you." Kagome smiles cheekily.
"No."
Kagome then sighed even more dramatically. "Well okay. I will just be going then, and take this nice juicy takeout with me-"
"FOOD!" Rin shouted leaping over the counter.
"No," Kagome huffed. "You're being rude to a potential customer. I don't think I wanna-"
"Hey, Koga. Wanna see Ah? She's in the back." Rin gets Koga all rallied up in no time. "Ha!"
"I hate you. I had a good scene going!"
Rin playfully stuck out her tongue. "Come on, Ah is back here. I can watch the front and eat at the same time."

"That's hot."
"No, that's not hot. It's embarrassing." Rin says in a blush. "He tried to have sex with me at a little a children's birthday party, you freak!"
"So he couldn't keep his hands off of you, and had to kiss you. You can't tell me that, that isn't the least bit flattering."
"No! That makes him a giant hypocrite. He told me that I needed to keep myself in check, and that I needed to learn my own damn control. So that is what I did! Through the whole party, I evaded him to avoid doing anything, because he freaking said so, and the he dragged me away and shoved his hands up his shirt."
"Well, you are obviously good at keeping that from the public because no one saw anything." Kagome shrugged. "It's something." Rin was not pleased. "Will you relax? So you sneaked a little make-out session in a public place. You don't find that the least bit invigorating at all?" Kagome asked knowingly.
Rin tried to keep her angry composure. She's not gonna give into it. She's just not. She won't give into the mystery, the suspense, the wondering if they would get caught. She didn't think about where else they could hide next, wondering if they would be seen. As all of these thoughts did not go through her head, she was caught thinking about it.
"HA!" Kagome scared Rin out of her thoughts. "Gotcha!"
"Oh, shut up," Rin threw food at Kagome. "I am so surprised that I kept it contained, though." Rin said combing her hair back.
Kagome giggles. "I guess the more demon you are, the more you are likely to lose control." she sipped her drink.
"Hey, do you mind not telling Sango about this? She doesn't know that I almost did the nasty at the twins birthday party."
"Sure thing, sweetie." Kagome winked. "I can just use it for blackmail later." she said picking up the trash to throw it away. "Now, you can't tell me that you didn't make up for it when you went back to your house." Kagome looked back to her friend as she purposefully shoved her face in her hair to keep from showing her red face.
"His hands are fucking magical, Kagome, and I am going straight to hell-"
*Door bell goes off*
"Oh! I'll be back." Rin ran off to the front to see who the visitor was.
"I'll be here."
Rin instantly dropped her droopy personal life and completely turned her disposition to welcome new guests with a big smile.
"Hi there! Welcome to the Omoiyari Animal Shelter!" she sees a woman with a happy child holding her hand. "How can I help you two today?"
"Yes, hello. We are in the market for a new pet. We heard you were the best!" the motherly woman was extremely cheerful.
"Oh really?" Rin immediately knelt down to the little girls level to talk to her. "And what are we looking for today?"
"A kitty!" the little girl bounces in joy. "Mommy said we can get a kitty!"
"That sounds like a wonderful choice. We have so many different kinds of kitties in all sorts of shapes and sizes!" Rin says smiling.
"We are just looking today, my husband wanted to be here with us today but couldn't make it. Do you mind if I could take pictures of animals so I can show them to him?" she friendly woman asks whopping out her phone.
"Oh, absolutely!" Rin opens the pathway to let them through. "We want your daddy to be happy, too right?" the little girl nodded. "Right this way." she led them through the cat area.
"Oh, oh, oh!" the little girl saw the gate to the cat area and saw every cat imaginable. "Woooow," she says gripping the gate to the play area tightly.
"Would you like to go in?" Rin says with her hand on the handle.
"Oh mommy can I, please?"
"Sure sweetie," she said as Rin opened the way for her.
"She sure is a cutie," Rin smiles watching her practically dive on in. She just love kids.
"Thank you, I take great pride in her." the friendly woman watched her daughter play. "You must take a great pride in this place, too." she looked around. "It truly is a sight."
"Isn't it?" Rin looked with her. "Ms. Kaede is truly a wonderful woman. When she first opened this place, it was nothing more than a run down shack, but after a lot of love and pouring her life savings into this place. She is my hero, with how much love she gives these animals." she continued to watch the little girl. "I mean, who wouldn't want to help them, you know?"
"Wow," the woman's smile never left. "You have a lovely heart, Ms..."
"Oh, Rin Tamiko," she hold's a hand for her to take.
"Pleased to meet you. I'm Kikyo Tashio," they shook hands with a proper hello. "So, how much is it to adopt, Ms. Tamiko?" she starts as she rummages through her bag.
"Oh, we only accept, a 10 pound bag of dog or cat food. That way we can continue to feed them. We do have a donation jar if people wish to help us out with a little extra hand."
"Wow, it must be a stretch to keep this place open if people aren't putting money in"
"Oh no, a lot of people really support us, and we get by. We have a lot of the community to help us."
"So do you accept a charity fund?"
"Oh it is always appreciated and accepted. If people wish to help, we will not stand in their way."
"Mommy mommy! This one. I like this one!" the little girl says as she pets the head of a kitten.
"You know the rules sweetie. We are only taking some pictures today to show daddy."
*Door bell goes off*
"Oh my, we are popular today," Rin says looking towards the entrance. "Will you please excuse me?" she bowed as she ran back up to the front to greet, yet another guest. Getting up there. She sees Sango and her kids. "Oh, hi guys!" she says seeing her favorite twins. "So how does it feel being 9 years old?"
"Cool-"
"Awesome!-" both both girls shout
"We are here to get Kirara's information, and the girls begged to see the animals." she pats her girls heads. "When I got her, we were in a deep conversation and I must have forgotten her records."
"Oh, man I'm sorry!"
"Oh, we're fine. We don't have an agenda today."
"Okay... Alright, ladies you know where they are." Rin pointed a thumb to the back and they practically ran over each other over. "I do have another customer right now, so when they get finished, I will get your file,"
"Sounds cool."
"Kagome is here in the break room if you wanna head back there."
"Sweet!" she says making her way to the back.
Rin made it back to the mother and daughter taking pictures of their favorite animals.
"Okay, sorry for the wait. Did we get some awesome pictures for your dad to see?" Rin knelt down again.
"Mmhmm," the girl's smile was vivid.
"I think we got a fine choice for daddy. Thank you for letting us use our camera."
"Absolutely, we want to help you as best as we can." Rin says in a giggle. "Is there anything else I can help you with?"
"ooh Ooh!" the little girl raised her hand to be picked.
"Yes, baby?" the woman asked politely.
"Can I have a picture with the animal savior?"
Rin looked flabbergasted when the girl pointed to her.
"M-me?"
"It's up to her sweetie," she looked knowingly to Rin. "It's okay, you don't have to," her heart melted in an instant.
"No, no. I am just flattered. Of course, I would love to take a picture with someone as pretty as you!" she says sitting on her knees and coming in close to take a picture with the sweetest little girl. The image snapped in an instant.
"Kikyo?" Sango says coming out of the break room when she heard the familiar voice.
"Oh, Sango." Kikyo became extremely surprised by the sudden call of her name.
"I had no idea you were coming here today. How are you?" Sango hugged her friend.
"Oh, I'm doing well. How are you?"
"Only smiles since our new furry friend. I am assuming you are here to adopt?"
"Well, we saw that cat at the birthday party, now Mai can't stop talking about it."
"Oh, you were at the party?" Rin had no idea. She didn't remember seeing her there.
"Oh yes, and I remember you. You were the little expert helping the kids out. When I heard about your shelter, we just had to check it out."
"I am so glad that I was able to have you here today!"
"We had a good time, it was a pleasure to meet you. What do you say, Mai?" Kikyo looked to her daughter.
"Thank you, Rin!"
"You are very welcome. I will help you to the front. Come back real soon, 'kay?"

As if things couldn't get any worse.
Rin sits on Sesshomaru's couch, knees to her chest in the fetal position watching her worst nightmare unravel before her eyes. Regardless of how much he did not show, Sesshomaru, too, found it rather difficult to watch.
"Who is this mysterious maiden that has the most eligible bachelor in Japan smitten? Yesterday, we caught some juicy footage of Mr. Sesshomaru Inutakahashi in a heated moment in the middle of a family park during a child's birthday party and now people want to meet this new secret celebrity." Rin watched the evening news. The footage they replayed showed him shove her up against the wall and make out with her. Though it was difficult to see faces, Rin's heart practically explodes. "After some extensive research, one of our professional undercover reporters was able to have a talk with this mystery woman that has all of Japan buzzing." then suddenly a close up image of Rin's face was plastered on the screen for the world to see. It was of an image of her smiling brightly with the blurred out face of a child next to her.
Her eyes grew.
She knew that picture.
Her mouth dropped in unbelief.
"This is Rin Tamiko," her name was heard, Sesshomaru suddenly grew extremely angry. "A pretty faced worker of The Omoiyari Animal Shelter. Speaking in a private conversation with our top reporter, she expressed her disappointment for her thriving business. She stated "It's nothing more than a run down shack, I have no idea why my boss put her life savings in it." she also described how she was able to snatch Mr. Inutakahashi. "Really, this place is a charity magnet, and it's ideal, because who doesn't want to help these animals?" which is when Mr. Inutakahashi came along. After seeing how she repay's her kindness, it is clear that his funding went to something other than a charitable fund to help poor animals-"
Sesshomaru shut off the bullshit news, showing nothing but a blank screen. He then looked to her as she shook in silence. Her eyes were wide and full of tears threatening to fall. She looked paralyzed in shock, but could explode at any given moment. Never had he seen her feel so low and defeated... So ashamed. Without another thought, the tears rolled down her cheeks.
'That's all a lie.'
she literally couldn't speak.
'That bitch.'
Her chin wrinkled in an upcoming cry.
'That fucking bitch!'
Her cries were silently heard throughout the room. The animals felt her pain;
Sesshomaru is going to kill someone.
Nothing was needed to be said, all that she needed was Sesshomaru pulling her close, as he guided her to lean on him and hug him tightly. It doesn't take much more for her to start bawling.
"She said she was there to adopt a kitten..." she managed to whisper among the hiccups and crying.
She was completely destroyed.
Sesshomaru is not happy.

Well, That is all I have for now. I am going to go hide in a corner from the world so I'm not hunted down. Damn that strange woman. I don't think she is going to be Sango's friend anymore after this.
