Finally a chapter! Haha, sorry you guys, it's been like forever since I uploaded and alot of people have been telling me to carry on, favorite/follow all signs that yiu wan me to carry on so I am!

The story behind Nora powers was strange, she was not born with the extraordinary powers, but it can be said that they were passed to her.

Nora is orphan, all her life she wondered why her parents did not want her, or anybody. All the children at the orphanage fighting to get adopted, even Nora fought but eventually after realising, she stopped trying because nobody wanted her.

Nora was always singled out in her life, never has she had one friend to confide to, only her carer, Ms Tracy Johnston. She would always make sure that she was okay, no matter, she hated seeing little Nora upset.

But there was one night that changed her life.

"Hey, freak!" Eight year old Nora turned around to the sound and saw it was one of tormenters, Sarah. She saw behind her, her two accomplices Becca and Sammy.

"What-" She did not have time to finish her sentence as she heard a splat sound and a feeling of something slimy sliding down her chest. She looked and saw that it was Becca that threw it at her. Nora could hear Sarah and Sammy laugh loudly at her.

Before she had time to recover, she was hit again, and again until she was covered head to toe in mud. The girls laughter caused the other children to run out and see what the commotion was about, including Ms Tracy. The other children saw the state that Nora was in and could not help but join in the laughter, making little Nora feel humiliated.

She quickly ran away into the forest, ignoring her name being called by Ms Tracy. She ran and ran until her feet were tired and collapsed onto her bottom, curling up into a ball and she cried.

Soon she felt herself drifting off to sleep, even though the sun was shining bright in her eyes, she could not keep her eyes open any longer and she let the sleep overcome her.

Nora felt a breeze which made her shiver automatically, waking her up. She looked around and realised it was dark, and that she had no clue where she was. She could still feel the mud turn into a hard mask over her skin, she needed to find a river to wash the mud off her body.

She thought of how Ms Tracy would be having a search party for her, but she knew that she was not wanted, nobody did, no one wanted to be her friend, so why should she be in a place like that?

Nora felt like she was walking for miles trying to look for a source of water, coincidently, she saw one, just a few yards. Not wasting any time, she rushed over to river and started to taking a few sips before washing the mud of herself.

But then, as she washing her face, between the ripples of the water, she saw a blue glow in the reflection, making her look up towards the sky and what she saw made her mouth open wide.

A blue orb floating down in a slow pace and little Nora's eyes was fixated on the mysterious object. She did not even realise that her hands were held out in front of her, ready to capture the captivating object.

It landed softly into her hands and Nora gasped in surprise of this object, nobody would believe if she told them what she had found. She felt the orb pulsing as she held the orb in her hand, the light shining extremely bright but Nora was to entranced.

"Nora!"

She snapped out of her trance state as she heard her name being called by a familiar voice. She turn back to look at the orb but saw that the orb was turning into a liquid state, but instead falling onto the floor. It was absorbing into her skin! Nora could help but she scream aloud as she saw her veins started to radiantly turn blue from her hand until her whole body was glowing blue.

"Nora?!" She heard and she turned around to see Ms Tracy staring at her scared but surprise at the same time.

"Help me" Nora cried helplessly to her, as she felt upcoming pain in her body, making her collapse onto the ground. Her body went into compulsory fits as the orb flowed through her body until it hit the targeted destination, her heart.

Finally, her back arched off the ground and Nora let out a powerful scream that blew the trees and knocked Ms Tracy over. Nora's body fell into a heap onto the ground then she went unconscious, hearing murmurs of sounds of her name.

"Ms Jones?"

She heard her name being called, waking her up. She must have dozed off whilst on the journey to the strange location. She looked up and remembered that she was in a jet, flying over the ocean.

"We're here now." The driver notified her, making her turn and look outside at her new environment. They were above an enormous carrier ship and she felt the jet descending to land. She did think about asking the location but decided not to concern herself; she probably wouldn't get an answer.

As she stepped out onto the landing pad, she felt the ocean breeze flew past her, wind sweeping her hair. Before Nora could glance around her new surroundings, Natasha approached her with two older men, one with combed back blonde hair and the other with shaggy dark hair.

"Hello, Nora. I hope your journey here was alright?" She asked and Nora nodded in response. Her eyes moved over to the two men beside her, who was staring back at her, curiously.

"Nora, this is Dr. Bruce Banner and Steve Rogers, they will be helping to find the tesseract. Gentlemen, this is Nora Jones." She gave them a smile and shook both their hands. Bruce's name was familiar as she heard about his experiment that went wrong on the news, that turned him into a monster.

"It's nice to meet you, I'm guessing you'll be helping us find the cube?" Steve asked her.

"I guess so, the sooner we find the cube and this Loki guy, the sooner I can leave." Nora answered him, causing his eyebrows to furrow at her. She was about peek into his mind but was interrupted by Natasha.

"Shall we move this inside because it's going to get little hard to breathe." Natasha said, waiting for their reactions.

"Is this a submarine?" Steve asked moving forward towards the edge of the ship. Bruce let out a small laugh.

"Really they want me in a submerged, pressurised, metal container?" He asked, following him and watched what was happening to the ship. Nora stayed beside Natasha, a confused expression was on her face, which Natasha saw and smirked.

"Just watch."

The ship began to merge into a plane, as Nora felt the ship began to move and to lift off the water and into the sky. Natasha nudged her, to follow her inside the ship, which she did as it was becoming hard to breathe as the ascended higher into the air.

Soon Bruce and Steve caught up with the two and Natasha led the three down a hall, into a large control room, where men and women busily, walking in similar uniforms, working to find the cube.

They followed Natasha in a conference room, where there was an African-American man, wearing a black duster coat, who had his back turned to them. He was giving orders to a woman, who seemed to be his right hand, the woman noticed them, approaching and informed the man. He nodded and turn towards the group and stared at the three of them, before speaking.

"Hello, I'm Nick Fury, please take a seat."
