When she woke up, Crowley was standing over her. He seemed to be in deep thought because he didn't notice she was awake at first. Mina noted that he had put a blanket over her. He snapped out of his thoughts when she sat up and pulled the blanket around her.
"Good Morning Kitten." He said, sitting next to her.
"Long night?" She asked before she could stop herself. Crowley raised an eyebrow at her.
"Pretty much." Crowley replied, closing his eyes and laying his head back against the couch. Mina noticed that his clothes were torn in places and that there was blood seeping through them. To her, he looked extremely human.
"umm, hey..." She said poking him twice.
"What?" He asked irritably.
"You're a demon right, you're bleeding." Mina replied. "Can't you heal or something."
"Why?" Crowley asked. "You worried about me Kitten?"
"No!" Mina responded quickly. "...maybe a little."
"That's sweet." Crowley said as he sat up, offering her one of his wounded arms. "There, I'm perfectly fine. You can check if you want."
Mina took hold of his arm in curiosity and inspected one of the tears in the fabric where he had been cut. She wiped the blood away looking for a wound but she found none.
"That would be useful," Mina said, sitting back away from him. "I hate paper cuts."
"Really?" Crowley asked. "Paper cuts?"
"Yeah." Mina replied.
"That's the best you could come up with?" He wondered.
"I led a boring existence." Mina told him.
"and your job was?" Crowley inquired.
"hmm.." She paused as if in thought, then she poked him. "Mind your business."
"That's good." Crowley said with amusement. "I might just use that."
Mina smiled and leaned her head back against the couch to look at the ceiling. Crowley watched her for a second before he copied her. They sat there quietly, Crowley was unsure why she was staring at the ceiling so intently.
"So," Mina spoke up. "What happened to the mansion?"
"Got burned down." Crowley responded.
"So this is home then." Mina muttered.
"What?" Crowley asked as he looked over at her.
"This is home then." She repeated herself as she stood up. "I'm guessing there are rooms upstairs."
"Then you'll take the deal?" Crowley asked
"I never said that." Mina told him.
"You were thinking it." Crowley smirked.
"Whatever.." She muttered before she made her way up the stairs. Many stressful weeks passed before anything interesting happened. Crowley had suddenly decided to leave the house.
"So you're going somewhere?" Mina asked. "I thought you said it's not safe out there."
"I did." Crowley hissed in reply. "But there's something I have to go do."
"Right, what about that mess in the kitchen?" She asked. "What were you even trying to do anyways? You're a demon; you don't need to eat anything."
"Yeah, but you do." Crowley responded.
"Please don't try to bribe me with food." She told him. "It's ridiculous and it's not going to work."
"Yes it is." He told her.
"I'm not cleaning it up for you." Mina said before she went upstairs.
"Women." Crowley muttered to himself before he disappeared.
Hours later Mina heard a car outside. She looked out the upstairs window to see Crowley getting out of a black impala with two guys, they must be the winchesters. It puzzled her as to why he needed help from humans, first her now these two. She was halfway down the stairs when they came inside. She sat down on a step to listen.
"Here we are," Crowley said with a sigh "my life on the lamb. How the mighty have fallen, single pane glass, used contraception in the fireplace. The water damage alone-"
"My heart's bleeding for you." Dean cut him off. "Now how do you know about the rings?"
"Well now," Crowley responded "I've been keeping a close eye on you lot."
"We have hex bags, we're hidden from demons." Sam spoke up.
"All but one," Crowley informed them, then pointed to himself. "That night you broke into my house, our first date. My valet hid a tracking device in your car, a magical coin that easily trumps your little bags of bones. It allows me to hear things too, and my, the things I've heard."
"So," Crowley continued "you want to cram the devil back in the box, cunning scheme. I want in."
"You said you could get us pestilence." Dean prompted.
"Well now, I don't know where pestilence is per say," Crowley began, but then he paused. "one moment boys. Kitten, come down here."
Mina couldn't help herself, she let out a laugh. He was good, he always knew when she was eavesdropping. She stood and finished going down the steps. The two brothers took a step back when she came into view.
"You didn't say there was someone else here." Sam tensed.
"Calm down moose," Crowley said "she's harmless."
"Oi! That's rude." Mina
"Would you look at that," Dean said with a smirk "a female Crowley."
"I resent that." She muttered.
"She sounds just like you." Sam commented.
"I don't like your friends." Mina told Crowley as she went to go back up stairs.
"I want you to stay Kitten." Crowley said, stopping her. "You're a part of the team too."
"Unofficially," She reminded him as she leaned against the wall.
"Right, we'll discuss that when I get back." Crowley told her.
"You were saying?" Sam asked, trying to get the conversation back on track
"I don't know where pestilence is per say," Crowley admitted "but I do know the demon who does. He's what you might call the horsemen's stable boy. He handles their itineraries, their personal needs. He's who you want, believe me. He'll tell us where sneezy's at."
"well how do we get him to spill?" Dean asked "rip out his toe nails."
"No," Crowley replied "nuts at his pay grade don't crack. We bring him here then I sell him."
"Sell him." Sam repeated.
"Please, I've sold sins to saints for centuries." Crowley told them. "Think I can't close one little demon?"
"Alright so where's this demon of yours?" Dean asked.
