It was a Saturday afternoon, & I was sitting on the couch by myself cuz Seth, went to visit his cousin Emily who lives on the Makkah Reservation. I love Emily; she always persuades Leah to let me play with them if Seth is with Colin & Brady or following his current man-crush (Jacob Black) around like a little puppy. I have nothing against Jacob, or his friends Embry Call & Quil Atera. Them guys were, the 3 amigos, 3 musketeers, 3 blind mice. Basically if you got one you got the other 2. They were like a package deal.
My back was really itchy.
Me- MOM! Can you come here for a sec!?
Mom ran into the sitting room, a panicked look on her face.
Mom- What is it honey?
Me- Mom, my back is really itchy. Can you itch it?
She sighed but motioned for me to turn around. I heard her gasp, & I spun around to see my mums green eyes wide & her face even whiter, if that was even possible.
Me- Mom? What is it?
Mom-N-n-n-n-othing honey, I thought I saw something out the window, it's nothing. Don't worry.
And she walked off mumbling "It's nothing, don't worry." over & over again. She sounded like a mad woman. It so wasn't nothing. I got up off the couch & ran up to my room, taking 2 stairs at a time. I pushed open my bedroom door, & walked over to my full length mirror. I lifted up the back of my shirt & turned my head enough to see what was on my back. I gasped in shock at what I saw. On my back two angel wings were engraved in my back. It looked like someone had stuck a metal rod into a fire & branded me…. It freaked me out! I don't think I'll be telling Seth about this…

Oh God. Oh God. OH MY FUCKING GOD! They said this wouldn't happen to her; that she didn't possess the "gift". I grabbed the phone off my bedside table, & rand the army base in Quantico.
