A/N: Hey, today's the 28th of July and that means I've been talking to AmyBieberKetchum for two years today 0.0 It feels like just yesterday we starting talking on PMs, I'm really glad we continues talking :'B This one isn't a letter, it's more like a proper fanfiction :P Hope you enjoy boo x
"Amber, Jake, Evan!"
The three siblings turned their heads in the direction of the voice of their father, a surprised look on their faces at Ash's sudden outburst.
"What is it, Dad?" Amber asked, raising an eyebrow as she studied his face. He seemed somewhat flustered, holding a cardboard box in his hands; this made her even more curious.
"I've uh, got something I wanna show you guys," he replied, a sheepish smile taking over his face.
"Well hurry, I wanna leave on my journey!" Jake cried, pumping a fist in the air.
"Jake, we don't leave for another hour..." Evan said with a sweat drop, causing his brother to drop his fist and pout.
"Aw c'mon Evan, your brothers just excited," a new voice called from the kitchen, laughing afterwards.
"Yeah, I'm just excited Evan," Jake said with a smug look, quoting his mother.
"Anyway..." Ash interrupted, clearing his throat. "Don't you wanna see what I've got?"
"I do!" Amber exclaimed, her curiosity taking over.
"Alright," Ash chuckled, sitting on the sofa. "Well, a while after I found out your mom was pregnant, I decided to write letters about everything that happened with you guys..."
"So?" Jake dead panned, not finding the subject interesting.
"So," Ash continued, not seeming effected by his sons tone. "Now that you guys are going on your journey, I thought you could read them!"
"So you mean you've been writing letters for ten years?" Amber gasped, peering inside the box when Ash nodded.
"Here, you can read em if you like..." Ash said and opened the box fully for his daughter, rubbing the back of his neck sheepishly.
Amber grinned excitedly, diving into the box. Evan glanced over her shoulder as she pulled out a few.
"Hey look, that one has my name on it!" Jake suddenly yelped, snatching it from his sister.
"Jake!" Misty scolded before shaking her head fondly, "you're so much like your dad."
"Thanks, Mist," Ash sniggered, smiling as Evan shyly reached in and pulled out a letter with his name on it. "Well, we'll leave you guys to it."
"Kay!" Amber chirped, pulling out another few with her name written on the envelope as Ash and Misty left the three alone.
"I wonder if he wrote any for Elisha," Evan wondered, looking around for his younger sisters name.
"Maybe, if he has they're probably in another box," Amber said with a shrug. "She is only four."
"I guess so..." He mumbled, reading over his first letter with a smile.
"Hey, I've got an idea..." Amber started, glancing up briefly.
"What is it?" Jake asked, not look up and furrowing his brow as he got stuck on a word.
"I know what we can do while we're on our journey to send back to Dad!"
"What is it, jeez get to the point," Jake scoffed, rolling his eyes.
Amber narrowed her eyes but pulled out a piece of paper. "Well, y'know how Dad wrote to us?"
"Yeah...?"
"I think we should reply to each of his letters!" She grinned, carefully writing the words 'Dear Daddy' on her page.
I know it was short but it's kinda a look in on what our next collection of anniversary stories are gonna be like :P So, as Amber said, it'll basically be their replies to Ash's letters. I hope it wasn't too short dude T.T See you next month on the 28th with Dear Daddy :P
