A Fight

Mr. Pudershmit was scared shitless. It was his first time going through the portal. He mainly bought the portal just for the sake of having it, other words 'because I'm rich'. For years it had been sitting behind his bookcase musing having a portal to another dimension till the Cenobites came along. When he solved the puzzle he was hoping for thousands of beautiful naked chicks with huge tits and fine asses. It was what the very convincing homeless guy promised. After he gave Hitler to the Cenobites he swore to himself never to trust the homeless again.

A loud slithering sound screeched loudly beside him making him jump in fright by six feet. He imagined thousands of snakes slithering closer to eat him only to find a massive black pyramid. "Whoa," said Pudershmidt in awe, he had went to Egypt in his youth. This pyramid was bigger then the ones in Cairo. The question was, what was inside? Whatever it was Pudershmidt didn't want to know. It's too bad Leeman Vol was there to change that.

Leeman slowly got on his feet feeling his body protest from standing. It took him a moment to know where he was and once he did fear (along with joy) gripped him to the core. He was back at Xuxux were the Sacbrood lived for over a thousand years. Seeing the pyramid brought back memories of the Midnight Prince's plan of absolute darkness. Leeman was a natural night creature but the idea of extinguishing the light from the world seemed wrong for reason he couldn't explain. Plus he saw what the Sacbrood can do.

His body froze at the shuffle of footsteps. Like Mr. Pudershmidt he imagined it was the Prince of Midnight himself coming over the say, "O there you are, Vol. Are you ready to unleash the Brood?" Luckily it was Carrion, in fact Carrion was about to meet Pinz over at Midnight but let's get to the part were Pudershmidt get's his ass kicked. In the corner of his eye he saw Mr. Pudershmidt still in cartoon form.

The feeling of fear was suddenly replaced with vengeful rage. The memory of that poor cockroach being smooched under fine Italian shoes without no emotion whatsoever. It was worse then what Medelson Shape did by drowning his poor innocent red mites. "Murderer!" screamed Leeman in a battle cry of war charging at a surprised Mr. Pudershmidt.

"This-is-for-the-innocent-roach-killed-earlier!" spat Leeman, punching every word into the cartoonish face. Leeman was tempted to kill him but then he remembered Meg and how angry she would be if the Cenobites didn't have what they wanted. One last punch he knocked Pudershmidt unconscious. Now that Pudersmidt was out now the problem was how to get off this island? The loud hissing and buzzing gave him the answer he needed.

Leeman dragged the limp body over to the pyramid where the hissing got louder with his presence. It took a good deal of ten minutes to remember to combination and when he finally opened the door Pudershmidt finally gained conscientious. "No…No," protested Pudershmidt thinking he was going to be through with the unspeakable nightmares slithering in anticipation but that wasn't in the plan.

"I would like one of you to help me," said Leeman through the talented clicking and hissing of Sacbrood language. The Sacbrood slowed the creepy crawling staring at the man with three mouths.

"Are you wanting to let us go?" they hissed hungrily.

"Only one," he answered, there was a long pause.

"Why should we help you if you only want to release one of us?"

"It's a test to see if you're ready to eat the Light. Orders from Carrion," he lied convincingly. It took a moment or two for the Sacbrood to respond.

"Fine, we'll give you the best," they said then a large cicada like creature stepped out. It was a beautiful creature of green, gold and blue. What Leeman thought was beautiful Pudershmidt thought was terrifying.

"No-nonononon-no!" screamed Pudershmidt but Leeman didn't listen. He threw Pudershmidt on the creatures back and flew off into the night to find Meg.
