So it's been over a year, but I'm back. I honestly just couldn't finish this story. I tend to get really bad writer's block in the middle of my stories for some unknown reason. I did figure out a way to end this one though. I like how it ends up, and the turns it takes. I have the next chapter typed up, and I will be publishing it right after I finish publishing this one. I also have the last few chapters of Movie Night typed up, and I will be posting those as well. I guess you could say I'm on a sort of roll. I plan to finish this sometime this week, but it might take me a little bit longer. I promise it won't be a year though.

Things as per usual were going great for me and Sam. We had been together over a year, and we were extremely happy. Santana, Brittany, Sam, and I decided we all wanted to live together since we were basically doing it anyway. It was going quite well and the four of us got along quite nicely.

I was in my final semester of school; I had dropped the theater minor, and was going to graduate this month with my criminal justice degree. I was excited to finally be done with school, and move on with my life.

Sam had graduated with his degree in power sports, and was working at a local auto body shop, and loved it. He fit in really well, and he had made a lot of friends amongst his coworkers. He was really enjoying life.

Bringing everything back to the present I was walking from class to my car after one of my last finals. I was excited because I was pretty sure I aced it. I was just about to exit my classroom when my professor called me back.

"Rachel may I speak to you in my office?" Pr. Parker asked me.

"Oh umm sure." He motioned for his teaching assistant to keep an eye on his class, and the two of us headed into his office.

"Rachel I know you haven't graduated yet, but I want to present you with an opportunity. As you may or may not know I worked with the BAU down in Quantico Virginia. I was their Unit Chief for a while. I left to come up here and teacher, but I still keep in contact with them. Their current Unit Chief just called me the other day to let me know he was looking for a new SSA to join their team, and ask me if I knew of anyone who would fit the part. I recommended you." Dr. Parker explained.

"Are…are you serious?" I gasped.

"Yes if you accept this you will need to be down in Virginia in a month. The Bureau would pay to put you up in a hotel until you find a place down there. What do you say?" He explained.

"I...I absolutely yes," I stated super excited. "Thank you for considering me for this sir, thank you so much!" He gave me the information I needed about the job, and I rushed home. I was super excited to tell Sam. When I got to our house Sam stood up to greet me, and I immediately threw my arms around him. Santana and Brittany were sitting on the couch as well.

"Boy midget you seem excited." Santana commented from the couch.

"Oh I am, I am, I am!" I cheered jumping up and down on the balls of my feet. "Guess what!"

"You joined the circus and you and Lord Tubbington are going to become sideshow freaks?" Brittany stated completely serious.

"Um no, I got offered a job with the FBI. I'm joining the BAU in Quantico. I'm so excited." I explained.

"Like the TV show?" Santana asked confused.

"Yes I believe so. My professor recommended me for the position. I'm going down on a trial basis in a month, but he says he thinks I'll get it." I explained further.

"Wait Quantico as in the one located in Virginia?" Sam asked.

"The one and only." I smiled.

"You're leaving me?" Sam asked.

"Well…a no…. I thought you'd come with me." I stated. I honestly hadn't put much thought into what Sam would do. I guess I thought we were in love enough that he would come with.

"Oh you just thought I'd leave my family, my friends, and my job to up and fucking move nine fucking hours away to Virginia. Oh that's just fucking great. Are you stupid? Why the hell would I do that?" Sam started ranting.

"Sam calm down." I started.

"No I won't come down Rachel. Fuck everything!" Sam screamed and then stormed out. I just stared at the spot where he had stood with my jaw dropped.

"Rachel are you okay?" Santana asked.

"I...I don't know." I stated shocked.

"Don't worry he will be back once he calms down." Santana stated.

"Maybe…." I stated not convinced. He didn't come back. He wouldn't answer my calls, and he didn't come back to the apartment. When I went by his mom's he wasn't there, and he wouldn't tell her where he was. He had called off of work for the time being, or told him to tell me that he had anyway. I guess we were broken up. I didn't know what else to think. I moved on with my life, and begin packing up to move. I said my goodbyes to everyone, and it was hard to leave, but it was an opportunity I couldn't pass up. My work friend threw me a going away party, and we had a blast there. Sam didn't show up. I left a week before I had to be down there. I was standing in my parent's drive way having already packed up the last of my things. Noah was driving down with me to help me set up, and get settled in. He was driving the moving truck. I had found a couple of people to live with down there. I had checked with the professor, and they checked out. He actually found them. The male living in the house was Brody Weston, and he is a member of BAU as well. He is the tactical analysis for our team. His friend from school was living with him as well. Her name was Kitty. Hopefully she was nice.

Upon arrival it was nice, but strange. It was definitely different than Lima.

"This is gonna be an adventure for you Rae Rae." Noah stated while were standing in front of my apartment. We were waiting for Brody to come out and meet us. The apartment was cute, and it was simple. Shortly after we arrived Brody came out to greet us.

"Hi you must be Rachel." Brody smiled.

"That'd be me," I answered. "You must be Brody than?"

"Yes I am, come on in and I'll show you around." Brody stated. "Kitty isn't here right now, but she'll be home later."

"Okay sounds good. Thisis my friend Puck by the way he'll be helping me move in." I introduced.

"Nice to meet you Puck; so fair warning Kitty has a yappy little pocket pooch who will probably bite at your ankles. She has hated me since Kitty and I started dating." Brody explained.

"It's okay. Are we allowed dogs here?" I asked.

"Yes we are, there are breed restrictions, I never got one because we leave a lot. I'm sure Kitty would be happy to watch after him while we are gone though if you want to get a dog." Brody explained. I would have to think about it. A dog would be nice. We walked into the house and were immediately ambushed by a barking ball of white fuzz.

"That's a dog? It looks like a giant cotton ball." Puck stated staring at the dog.

"Yeah that would be Annie. She can be sweet on occasion." Brody laughed. "As long as you aren't me she hates me." Brody gave us a tour of house, and it was really nice. I was looking forward to living in the apartment with everyone, and starting a new life.

"Let's start unpacking Rae." Noah stated. Brody started helping us, and we quickly had everything unpacked. By the time we finished it was dinnertime, and we decided on Chinese. Brody was going to have Kitty pick it up on her way home. I did get to meet Kitty and she was really nice, a little outspoken, but nice. She refused to call Puck anything else, but meat head which I found hysterical. The next day Noah was flying home, and it was hard saying goodbye with him.

"Well Rae this is goodbye." Noah stated looking down at me sadly.

"I'm gonna miss you Noah! You'd better come visit." I said starting to cry. Noah wrapped his arms around me.

"You know I will Rae, you know I will." Noah smiled.
