Naruto entered the room, and found Itachi sitting in the dark listening to music. Naruto recognized it as Three Days grace's new CD Transit of Venus. The song was Anonymous.

"We get by in in a world with no conscious by being anonymous, and the problem is, your just like me!"

"Itachi? Are you OK?" Naruto came in.

"Hah. Am I OK? My mother is cleaning my best friends face, because his father is a drunken bastard who hits him with his god damned whiskey bottles. You and the rest of the Akatsuki must hate me." Itachi hissed.

'No! Why would you say something like that?" Naruto exclaimed as he walked in and sat next to him on his bed. Itachi sat and stared at the wall for a moment, then spoke.

"I'm a perfect child from a perfect family. My father's rich, my mother stays at home and cooks for us. Then there's Deidara and Tobi. They were in the same accident together, and each lost an eye. Their foster mother wont treat them like adults because shes afraid they will get hurt again. Sasori's parents are both dead. Konan's mother wants her to be a perfect child, but Konan just wants to be one of us. Zetsu lives in a group home because his parents don't want him. Pein Lives alone, and Hidan and Kakuzu li9ve in the junkyard, and make it to school when they can. Why... why am I with them? Why are they my best friends.

"Because you care about us, Itachi-sempai. You saved my life, not because your a perfect child, or because your Akatsuki, but because you care about people like me."

"What do you mean "People like you." Itachi frowned.

"Well, everyone hates me, I'm a coward, and stupid. " Naruto sighed. Itachi turned to him and grabbed his face,

"No, Naruto-kun, not everyone hates you, I Love you, Sasuke cares, all the Akatsuki cares. You saw what Konan did for you."

"You what?" Naruto gasped. Itachi's eyes widened a little and his cheeks turned a light shade of pink, and he shrugged,

"OH what the hell." he growled, and Kissed Naruto. Naruto went rigid then pushed Itachi away.

"Whoa... Itachi-sempai... I'm not sure I'm ready for any relationship. I've been hurt by everyone I've ever known. I don't know..." Naruto whimpered.

"OK." Itachi smiled and hugged him to his chest," I don't care, I'll wait till your ready." Itachi buried his face into Naruto's hair and sat there breathing his scent in. Itachi wished he could tie Naruto to his waist, but if the boy wasn't ready, then that was fine.

Later the two boys walked down stairs together and all the talking stopped causing Naruto to blush.

"AHHH ha ha" Kisame roared, "I know what just happened."

"No you don't Kisame, shut up." Itachi growled.

"What happened then?" Sasuke asked suspiciously.

"We talked." Naruto smiled, "Itachi explained a little about the Akatsuki... and he reassured me, that even though Ero-ji left, he still cares."

"How cute." Kisame snicked. Itachi threw himself at the large blueish skinned boy. Mikoto just calmly moved the expensive looking vase onto the table.
