Itachi woke the next morning, for once, happy. he remembered the talk that he had with Naruto, and had resolved to win his heart. today was Saturday, and, he realized, Naruto's birthday was in a few days. wednesday to be exact. Maybe, one way he could show the little blonde that he cared, was to throw a party. he sat up and walked down stairs, and watched naruto kick Sasuke's butt at God of War for a few minutes, before going to find his mother. she was in the kitchen, cooking breakfast, there was some bacon frying, a little eggs and some rice. or cereal, there was always the choice of cereal.

"Mama, it's Naruto's Birthday on Wednesday."

"Oh it is?" Mikoto smiled at her eldest son and waited for him to get to the point.

"I was thinking, it would be nice to give him a party, nee?"

"That sounds nice, but, Itachi, you're not the best party planner." Mikoto laughed, causing itachi to blush.

"Ok. Sasuke will go with Naruto today, and you and I will go shopping." Mikoto smiled. Itachi nodded and told Sasuke the plan. they ate breakfast, and Itachi left with Mikoto.

"Lets go visit Tobi and Deidara." Naruto stood up from where he was on the couch and put on an orange jacket.

"You want to listen to music on the way?" Sasuke asked.

"Naruto, where's sasuke?" Deidara asked. Naruto looked to the ally. Deidara ran that way.

Naru, did you do this" Tibi looked down at Kiba."

"Yeah," naruto turned and woozily grabbed Sasuke's phone that was playing the last verse of Rise and Shine,

"We… we need to call an Ambulance." Naruto was very dizzy and his vision was going dark,

"Here, Naru, sit down. I'll call them." Tobi nodded and took the phone. he dialed 911 and Deidara came out of an Ally, holding a prone Sasuke.

"Is he ok?" Naruto asked from his place on the sidewalk.

"No, Naru. he's… well he's gone." Deidara said through tears.

"Oh… no, you're joking right? Deidara this is a bad joke!" Naruto started getting hysterical and stood up, immediately getting dizzy again. Tobi grabbed Naruto and held him tight,

"Naru, he's not joking. who did it? was it Kiba?" Tobi asked.

"No, it was two boys from Kiri. Taki and Horu." Naruto hiccuped. he broke down and buried his face in Tobi's jacket, and began sobbing. the Ambulance drove up, police close behind.

"Sir, is that kid dead?" a police officer asked Deidara.

"Yeah. he's… he's one of my best friend's brother. and uh, Naruto's best friend." Deidara pointed to the hysterical blonde.

"Kid, Kid." the officer tried to get Naruto's attention. a black car screeched up, and Tsunade jumped out and ran to where a bloodied Naruto was cradled in Tibi's arms.

"Officer, I suggest you stand back. he has had extreme trauma, and needs to go to the Hospital.

"No, Take Kiba first. I fucked him up bad." Naruto sniffed and pointed to the now unconscious Kiba.

"Oh shit." the officer gaped.

"That's Kiba Inuzuka." the other officer said, "He escaped from the Delinquent home in Kiri with two other boys, Taki and Horu. have you seen them?" this caused Naruto to break down in tears again.

"They are the ones who killed Sasuke." Deidara said quietly.

"What?" Tsunade looked and saw the bloody beat up form of Sasuke.

"They beat him to death." Deidara said. The paramedics loaded an Officer and Kiba into the ambulance, and another came for Naruto. they had to tranquilize him to get him calm enough to stay in the bed and the ambulance. Tobi and Deidara drove Tsunade's car and Tsunade rode with Naruto. the Police picked up Sasuke, and drove him to the morgue.
