"Naru! Ita!" Tobi and Deidara's raucous yells brought Itachi and Naruto out of their sleep.
"Nghh?" Itachi looked around, he found Tobi with his eyes covered and Deidara with his mouth hanging. he looked down at Naruto and realized the boy still had the red hickies everywhere, and was in his boxers.
"Did not need to see this." Deidara shook his head. his original reason for coming seemed to come to him as there was a pounding on the front door. 'Shit! The cops are here!"
"Shit." Naruto muttered and pulled on pants and a loose shirt. he frowned and grabbed the same makeup he had in his bag and used to use to cover the fruits of Kiba's bullying, and covered the violet bruise on his cheek he looked at Deidara, his eyes were once again dark pools "Tell Gaara, that if the cops come, we were sparing in his Dojo till eleven last night."
"Alright." Deidara nodded and called the redhead."
"What are you going to tell them after eleven?" Itachi asked. Naruto smirked and pointed to the hickeys showing on his throat,
"I was with you."
"Ah." Itachi smirked, the boy had become cunning. They waited till Mikoto called them up. Naruto put a sad vulnerable mask on and followed Itachi up to the living room, nearly clinging to his side.
"Hello Boys, we'd like to ask you a couple questions." the first one said. once they saw to sad broken look on Naruto's face, and the dark emotionless mask on Itachi's their resolve faltered a little
'What do you need officers?" Naruto asked in a small quiet voice.
"Well. we found Taki and Horu dead by the lake. do you know anything about this?" NAruto and Itachi did a good job of looking stunned.
"I'll take that as a no." The second officer frowned "Naruto, where were you last night?"
"After school I went to my friend Gaara's house and we sparred in his Dojo for a while… Gaara has been teaching me self defense. ever since Sasuke… I wanted to be able to protect my self so that would never… nev-never happen again…" Naruto's eyes welled up with tears and he buried his face in Itachis arm. Itachi sent a cold look at the officer, and the first officer gave his partner a reproachful look as if accusing him of something bad.
"And after that?" The officer ignored the looks.
"He was with me." Itachi growled.
"can you prove it?" the second officer challenged. Itachi pulled Naruto's shirt collar down to expose the necklace of love bites.
'Oh. I see." The officer said slowly as Naruto blushed.
"Well. we do know that Horu and taki died at separate times, we assume Horu was killed first and lay there and Taki may have found him, there were deep cuts in his knuckles causing us to believe that Taki attacked the killer and the killer had a blade of sorts and cut him up pretty bad. i am sure they both bled out. We know that Horu and Taki deserved to die, but this killer must be found, as he seems to have a sadistic mentality. the forensics believe that Horu was laid out to tease Taki before the other were killed." The officer explained. Naruto shook his head as if confused, but inside he was thinking: If they only had a clue how sadistic this killer had become.
It was three years later, at naruto's graduation. Itachi stood in the crowd watching his blonde greet their friends. Neji and Gaara walked up to the blonde both wearing their green and white gowns and caps. Naruto's was red, he had made valedictorian. Itachi smiled. as Naruto had grown in the last couple years, he had grown stronger under Gaara's tutelage until he could destroy Gaara in a hand to hand spar. when he began to defend himself, people respected him. Itachi had even heard girls who once teased and tormented him harping and bitching about the two hottest guys in school (Himself and naruto) being Gay, and an item. Tsunade picked up the mic, and calmed and quieted everyone. Naruto stepped up with a lopsided grin, his yellow hair clashed terribly with the red gown and cap. he began to speak into the mic,
"I have to admit I never thought I would be up here. Most of you know, that my freshman and sophomore years were, quite frankly, hell. But, I would not be here today if it were not for that. I would never had become friends with dear Sasuke, or my love, itachi. Gaara and I would not be as close, and I might still be a little dunce. Then again, I would also not have had so many medical bills and nurse trips. so, it is with that, I bequeath my strength, to everyone who still has to get through high school, cause damn it, kids are mean." he smiled and gave the mic back to Tsunade, who was beaming with glee,
"So we have a Senior returning who has a special speech to make." She looked straight at itachi,"Itachi Uchiha, come on up." Itachi stood and walked up to Naruto, he was wearing a pair of pencil leg black jeans and a grey dress shirt and tie.,
"Naruto, You mean everything to me, you know? from the day I saved you from Kiba, to now, as I watch you end one of the big segments of your life. But your last name is weird. Uzumaki. So, Will you take on mine?" Itachi smiled, his black eyes warm. Naruto's cerulean eyes widened as Itachi pulled a black band from his pocket.
'Always, Tachi."
Four years passed. Naruto was a psychologist in a school. Itachi was the head of a police force, and they had a child. artificial Insemination with a blonde woman so it looked like a mixture of Itachi and Naruto. His name was Sasuke, and he had black hair and blue eyes. Naruto, the Daddy, and Itachi, Dad, loved him more than anything. Naruto, who though his life would end at the age of fifteen, loved his life at twenty three.
Sorry, bad ending. thank you to everyone who has stayed with naru and Tachi from the very first chapter. You have seen them through Bullying, Murder, Reveng, and love.
