Sorry for the wait! I've had a busy schedule lately. We're rapping up with only about 2 to four chapters left.

"Yes, I love her." Corey answered, he did, he really loved Laney "But wait, doesn't true love's kiss mean she has to like me back?" the bluenette studied everyone's expression, they all sent him knowing looks and waited for him to figure it out "... I don't get it-" "SHE LIKES YOU!" Everyone shouted at him. It took a moment for the information to reach his brain, but when it did, Corey's face blushed the color of Laney's hair "... oh... OH! LANES LIKES ME!?"

The group breathed a sigh of relief. He finally knew. Nick smiled proudly and gave him a thumbs up, while Konnie leaned over to Larry and whispered, "I knew it! Pay up Larry!" the bassist begrudgingly handed her a 20 dollar bill. Kim raised her hand "Um not to break the mood, but we also have rehearsals to do. We can't all look for Laney and work on the play at the same time." She had a point. They had to split up now.

Kin pondered for a moment "Corey has to wake her up, and he and Laney are the lead roles. We need someone to take their place..." "Don't you guys have understudies?" Mina reminded the group. "Perfect! We can get the understudies to take our places!" Carrie clapped her hands together.

"Wait, we?" Corey asked his doppelgänger "Yes, I'm going too. It's my fault you made her sad in the first place, so I'm gonna go make it right." Carrie resolved. The Kagami twins stepped forward beside her "We're going too!" Corey looked at them in surprise. The Newmans were his sworn enemies, and now they willingly were volunteering to help him. Corey appreciated what they were doing. "Thanks Carrie, thanks girls."

"Then it's settled! Me and the Newman girls will go save Laney while the rest of you go on with rehearsals and stall the play if necessary!" The group cheered, except for Larry "Um, haven't you forgotten something? You three are playing the fairies! How are they supposed to do the play without 5 of the main characters!?" "No worries, Larrs. You, the twins, Nick and Mina can play the roles." Carrie suggested.

Trina tapped her foot impatiently "Can we like, move on! I have to go to make up! You four go already, we'll handle the rest!" Corey smiled at his sister. For once in her life, she was actually on his side. "Thanks Trina. Good luck you guys!" Corey called out as he and the Newman girls ran off, each grabbing their instrument for backup, well Konnie just grabbed the drumsticks.

Mina came up to her best friend "Aw, that was sweet of you Trina. I've never seen you be so nice to your brother." "Nice!?" Trina yelled "Great, now I gotta balance it out." Before Mina could say a word, Trina kicked her into a wall. "That's more like you." Mina groaned in pain.

TSUNDERE TRINA TRANSITION

Corey and the girls snuck across the school halls, well except for Kim who just walked around normally "Why are you sneaking around? It's the middle of the day and other people are here."

"Cause it's what they always do in movies." Corey explained as he leaned behind a wall. A guy with black skin and a yellow hoodie walked by and waved "Hi Corey!" Corey's face fell "So much for the element of surprise."

Kim wracked her brain, trying to figure out where to go. The school was big. They had to have some kind of way to find where Laney and Hex were. Konnie pulled out her phone and looked at it sadly. "Aww, it needs more power." A lightbulb popped up over Kim's head "That's it!" she motioned for the others to follow her.

The keyboardist led them to a door and walked inside towards a dimly lit staircase "Isn't this the way to the power room?" Carrie asked. Kim nodded "Yeah, Kin said this is where he found the box that Hex was sealed in, so maybe he's hiding out somewhere down there." It was sound reasoning.

"That sounds legit." Carrie commented. Corey took a step forward and looked at the darkness below "Lets go."

WICKED COOL TRANSITION

The other students were preparing and setting up the stage for tonight's play. The final rehearsal was only a few minutes away. The director clapped his hands "Places, people! One last time till we do it for real! And action!" The director went and sat down in his chair.

A spotlight hit the stage, and magic sparkles rained down as 3 fairies were lowered down on ropes... except the last one who fell. "I think I broke something." Kon mumbled against the wood floor. Kin and Mina were lifted down next to him. "What are you three doing?! Where's the girls who are playing the fairies?!" The director shot up, outraged.

"My sister and her friends had urgent business to attend to. So they, plus Corey and Laney, will be a bit late." Mina explained nervously. "My leads are gone!?" "Don't worry." Kin reassured the director, "We got they're understudies."

Kin stepped aside to reveal Nick Mallory wearing Corey's prince costume. Trina and all the other girls swooned when they saw him. "And don't forget Sleeping Beauty herself!" Kin announced as the curtains swung open. There stood someone in a shining pink dress (instead of the altered one Laney is using) with glitter, sparkles, and a shining crown of gold. Short red hair gleamed in the spotlight as emerald eyes shone brightly. "I'm gonna kill them all for this." Larry muttered as he crossed his arms over his chest.

Everyone stopped and stared in awe at the beautiful boy on stage. The director looked at Larry with tears of joy "That-that is the most beautiful princess I have ever seen!" Larry scowled "Well, don't get used to it! Laney's coming back so I'm only doing this once!" he walked backstage in a huff… Then popped his head out from the side and added "And I'm not doing ANY kissing! So just forget about that!"
