Ciel: Chapter 4

2 CHAPTERS IN ONE DAY! WOOOOOO!

Claude, the butler of the Michaelis Manor (A/N Haha! Claude has to work for Sebastian!), is supervising the work of the servants of the house. The servants are as follows: Mey-Rin and Timber, a pair of maids; William T, the housekeeper; Cantebury and Thompson, the man servants; and Bardroy, the cook. Bardroy is currently standing with a pad of paper and a pen, writing out a menu.

Hannah and Ciel come in. Ciel is awestruck by how big and beautiful the mansion is and starts exploring.

Claude goes over to them. "Good afternoon, Miss Annafelloz."

Hannah replies politely, "Good afternoon, Claude, everyone." The servants look up from their work. "Good afternoon, Miss." Hannah smiles then turns her attention back to Claude. "Has Mr. Michaelis arrived yet?"

Claude shakes his head. "No, Miss. We're expecting him any minute, though."

Ciel looks up at Hannah curiously. "Do you really live here or is this a train station?"

Hannah smiles at him. "We really live here." She looks at the servants. "Now, would you all come here for a moment, please?" The servants stop what they're doing and go over to Hannah, Ciel, and Claude. Hannah explains, "This is Ciel. He'll be here with us for Christmas"

Claude comes up behind Ciel. "May I take your coat, master?"

Ciel holds his new coat protectively. "Will I get it back?"

Hannah chuckles at Ciel's cuteness. "Of course you will, dear! Now, what do you want to do first?"

Ciel gives his coat to Claude then looks around. "Hmm… The floors. I'll scrub them first; then I'll get to the windows."

Hannah is confused by this. "Ciel, you won't have to do any cleaning. You're our guest. And for the next two weeks, you're going to have a swell time. Now…. Mey-Rin will pick out all your clothes."

Mey-Rin clumsily goes over to Ciel and holds a measuring tape up to him, which startles Ciel. "Green is your best color; no, blue, I think." Mey-Rin goes back to her station and starts writing down Ciel's measurements.

Hannah continues, "Your bath is drawn by William T."

William goes over to Ciel feeling a bit disinterested. "Soap… no, bubbles I think." He goes back to his spot and starts sorting the soaps and bubble bath mixes.

"Timber comes in to make your bed."

Timber silently comes over with a pillow, which Ciel lies his head on, then whispers to himself, "The silk; no, the satin sheets, I think." Goes back to his place and starts trying to find some blankets and sheets for Ciel.

Ciel smiles. "I think I'm gonna like it here."

Hannah smiles back at Ciel then continues explaining, "When you wake up in the morning, ring the bell for Claude and he'll bring your breakfast tray. And when you're done, Bardroy will come and take your tray away. Also, don't worry about picking up your toys"

Ciel shrugs. "That's okay, I don't have any anyways."

Hannah smiles. "You won't have to lift a single finger around here. We have but one request please put us to the test."

Ciel is very happy to be in a place he knows he's safe. "I know I'm going to like it here."

Sebastian begins to make his way down the main hallway. "Where is everybody?" His voice causes all the servants to scramble and line up neatly. Sebastian comes in carrying a bulging suitcase. He takes off his overcoat and hands it to Claude along with his suitcase. "Hello, everybody." The male servants bow and Mey-Rin curtsies.

Hannah smiles, blushing a little at Sebastian. "Welcome home Mr. Michaelis."

Sebastian smiles back. "It's good to be home."

Claude looks at Sebastian annoyed. "How was your flight from Paris?"

Sebastian sits on the couch. "Not bad… it only took about four hours. Hannah?"

Hannah looks. "Yes, sir?"

"Messages?"

Hannah
