Hey! I had a surprisingly nice day today, so you can have this now. Prompt: So i dk if your excepting prompts but if so like dani and Santana are teachers at a high school or one principal one teacher fluffy , cute , or whatever it doesn't matter. I just kinda took this one and ran with it, hope you don't mind. Enjoy :)
"Alright bucko, get your skinny little ass up. We're gonna take a trip down to the office."
"Wait, Mrs. L I didn't-"
"Walk."
The boy hung his head as he walked out of the classroom, Santana following menacingly behind him. She left her TA in charge, not wanting to miss out on this kid's punishment.
The two entered the front office, Santana knocking lightly on the principal's open door frame.
"Ah Santana, what can I do for you?" the blonde behind the desk smiled as she looked up.
"Well Dani, little Romeo over here," Santana lightly nudged the flustered boy into the room, "thought that the best time to talk about his sexual escapades over the weekend was in the middle of my class. It was degrading, it was wildly inappropriate...why don't you tell her what you were saying about Stephanie? Or how about Lauren?" she prodded the boy.
"No thank you," he shook his head quickly, fiddling with his hands as he stared at the floor.
"Brandon, that conversation is not one to be having in the middle of class. Or at school. Or at all for that matter," Dani said seriously. "You seem to be having problems staying quiet in class, so you can play the quiet game in detention for the rest of the week. And your parents will be notified about your...discussion topics." Santana smirked, satisfied with the verdict.
"Please don't call my parents!" the boy whined.
"Maybe you'll think twice the next time you want to say those kinds of things in my school. Now get back to class."
The boy nodded and turned to walk away, but was blocked by a still irritated Santana. She nodded over towards the blonde, and he turned around to face her once more.
"Thank you Principal Lopez-Harper," he grumbled. Santana glared at him, then let him pass.
"Mrs. Lopez-Harper, could you stay for a minute?"
Santana moved to face the other woman, quirking up an eyebrow. Dani scooted her office chair back, patting the side of the desk directly in front of her. Santana walked over and sat on the desk, the blonde laying her arms across Santana's legs as she looked up at her.
"You want to tell me what really happened, Santana?" she asked.
"He really did say those things, but I was going to just have a chat with him after class until he said..." Santana mumbled the rest of the sentence, not wanting to say it.
"So I can hear you, if you don't mind."
Santana reached down to play with the ring on the blonde's left hand, not making eye contact.
"He said...ugh I hate this...he said, and I quote, 'Principal L has a great rack and an ass to die for'." Santana shuddered as she finished.
"Santana, you can't keep sending kids in here whenever they make flattering yet incredibly inappropriate comments about me."
"But I should be the only person allowed to make flattering yet incredibly inappropriate comments about you, Dani. You're my wife for fuck's sake," she grumbled.
"Well that's a little unrealistic," Dani laughed, pulling Santana down onto her lap. "We work in a high school, babe. Hormonal teenagers everywhere. The kids are going to talk. If I gave detention to every student I've overheard talking about you, we'd fill up three or four classrooms."
"I just don't like them talking about you. You're mine," Santana said possessively, reaching up to play with a strand of Dani's hair.
"And you're all mine. But kids will talk. There's not much we can do. If you hear it then of course you should address it, but you can't send every student who says something about either one of us to me for punishment."
"I hate it when you're right," Santana mumbled.
"You should be used to it by now," Dani chuckled. "As fun as this is, you have a class to resume teaching, and now thanks to your adorable jealousy I have a very awkward phone call to make."
"Ugh gross," Santana rolled her eyes, begrudgingly standing up. "I just wanna spend time with my wife, but no. She just has to be responsible and make me do my job," she teased with a smile.
"Oh come on, San. You know you enjoy teaching those little twerps."
"I do like watching them struggle to pronounce words sometimes," Santana grinned cheekily.
"Well if I was in AP Psychology I'd probably struggle with some of those words too. Hell, even regular psychology," Dani laughed.
"Oh yeah?" Santana placed her hands down on the arm rests of Dani's chair, leveling their faces. "Like...medulla oblongata?" She leaned over to place a kiss on Dani's cheek. "Vestibular sense?" She moved her lips up to the soft spot behind Dani's ear, smiling as the blonde shivered. "You have quite a sensitive erogenous zone back here, babe."
"Ugh, I love when you talk nerdy to me," Dani giggled. She brought Santana's face back in front of her own. "We can continue this later, but right now you have a class to teach." She leaned forward and gave Santana a soft kiss.
"Spoil sport," Santana grinned, kissing Dani back. She straightened up and walked towards the door, stopping to look back at Dani. "What do you want for dinner tonight?"
"Mmm...surprise me."
"You got it." Santana turned to leave and head back to class, stopping when she heard Dani's voice call out to her.
"Mrs. Lopez-Harper, one more thing." Santana poked her head back around the door frame, eyebrows raised. Dani's face broke out into a wide smile. "I love you."
Santana beamed back at her, shaking her head lightly.
"I love you too."
"Babe, what does this sentence look like to you?"
Dani leaned over to look at the paper Santana was showing her, furrowing her eyebrows.
"That just looks like scribbles."
"I know! These kids are so lazy when it comes to handwriting," Santana huffed, rubbing her eyes under her glasses.
She tossed her stack of finished papers onto the coffee table in their house, readjusting her position on the couch. Leaning back against the armrest, she stretched her legs out over Dani's lap. Dani lifted her own papers and placed them on top of Santana's legs, continuing to work. The brunette pulled her hair up into a messy bun and rolled up the sleeves of Dani's old college sweatshirt.
"What are you working on?"
"Hmm?" Dani paused, looking over at Santana and readjusting her own glasses. "Oh, just looking over some new club applications, going over the ASB budget for prom, making sure all the permission slips for the thespian trip are in and everything's ready."
"Oh is that all?" Santana giggled, resting her head against the back of the couch as she watched Dani.
"No," Dani sighed, reaching up to move her glasses to the top of her head. "I had to suspend a kid for a few days for fighting, so that's more paperwork on my plate. And I think I need to get my eyes checked out because these glasses are giving me a major headache."
"Let me see them."
Dani handed her glasses over to Santana. The brunette took her own glasses off and put Dani's on.
"Well this problem should be an easy fix, babe."
"Wait really? How? You're not an optometrist," Dani replied as she leaned her head back against the couch as she looked at Santana.
"I don't have to be an optometrist to fix this." Dani furrowed her eyebrows, causing Santana to laugh. "You're wearing my glasses, you idiot."
"Seriously?" Dani groaned. "But they were on my nightstand..."
"Where you put them after you took them off of me last night. Yours should be on the counter in the kitchen. I'm wearing my spares because I couldn't find mine...turns out you stole them," Santana grinned cheekily.
"One less thing I have to take care of then," Dani smiled as she moved Santana's legs. Standing up and walking to the kitchen, she found her glasses on the counter, right where Santana said they were. "I don't know what I'd do without you Tana," she called out as she put them on.
"Spend money on a problem that wasn't there in the first place," Santana hollered back.
Dani smiled to herself, walking back to the couch. Upon seeing Santana, she burst into laughter; the Latina was wearing both pairs of glasses at the same time.
"What's so funny, D?" Santana asked innocently.
"You're a moron," Dani replied, shaking her head. She laid down on top of Santana, snuggling close into her. "Your sense of humor is so childish."
"We work with kids all day, what do you expect?" Santana grinned as she took off both pairs of glasses and placed them on the coffee table, Dani following suit. "Plus you laughed, so nothing else matters," she said as she wrapped her arms around Dani and kissed her head lightly.
Dani sighed contentedly, breathing Santana in. It was times like this, the simple moments they spent cuddled together and just being with one another, that made her the happiest. She loved her job, she loved her friends, she loved her family, but what she had with Santana was a different kind of love. The kind that set fire to her insides and made her feel alive, yet made her feel so incredibly safe and content. The kind that could get her pulse racing or calm her down in an instant. The kind that showed her that although she may live in a house, Santana was her home.
All of a sudden she felt Santana shaking her. Realizing she must have dozed off, she rubbed her eyes and looked up at her wife.
"What?" she asked groggily.
"Come on grumpy gills. Let's go to bed," Santana answered softly. Dani groaned and sat up, sitting on Santana's stomach. "Dani, get your sexy ass off me and let me up!" she grumbled, trying to push Dani off of her.
"Who's the grumpy gills now, baby?" Dani laughed as she pulled Santana up.
Both women made their way into their bedroom, putting on their pajamas and getting ready for bed. As they climbed under the sheets, Santana noticed Dani was unusually quiet.
"You okay over there babe?" she asked.
"What? Oh yeah, I'm good." She smiled and cuddled into Santana's side, sliding her arm across Santana's middle and tangling their legs together. "I just had a random work thought pop up in my head."
"Spill it," Santana grinned, reaching over to lightly tickle Dani's side.
"Tana stop!" Dani laughed. When Santana complied, she continued. "I was just thinking that we need chaperones for prom and stuff. I have to be there obviously, but after last year's fiasco it's gonna be harder to get volunteers."
"I'm still sorry I wasn't there for that."
"No it's totally fine. It's not your fault Rachel landed herself in the hospital. You were just being an amazing friend," Dani assured her, turning her head to kiss Santana's neck softly.
"Well maybe I could join you this year, maybe even take you out before or something, I dunno..." Santana trailed off quietly.
Dani propped herself up on her arms and stared intently at Santana, a smile tugging on her lips.
"Santana, are you asking me to prom?"
"Maybe...I guess so..." Santana was looking everywhere but at Dani. The blonde loved that she could still make Santana nervous.
"Well you're going to have to try a little harder than that," she sighed dramatically, dropping herself down on her back next to Santana. She looked over at the brunette and bit her lip, trying not to grin at the determined look that flashed across her wife's face.
"Wait here."
Dani furrowed her eyebrows as Santana jumped out of bed and hurried off down the hall. She was gone for a few minutes, then Dani heard footsteps nearing their room.
"Close your eyes and sit up," Santana instructed from outside the room.
"Santana, what-"
"Just do it, D." Dani sighed and rolled her eyes, but closed them anyways as she sat up. "Are they closed?"
"Yes."
"Good. Keep them closed."
Dani heard Santana enter the room, walking to her own side of the bed and putting something down on her nightstand. Then she walked over to Dani's side and did the same thing, placing something on her nightstand.
"It's just our glasses," she explained.
"You made me close my eyes for glasses?" Dani questioned, keeping her eyes closed just in case as she leaned her head back against the headboard.
"No." Dani felt Santana climb onto the bed and straddle her hips. "Okay, open your eyes."
Dani did as instructed, and her breath caught in her throat. Santana was sitting in front of her, still in her pajamas, her hair messy, no make up on, and holding a single red rose. Santana slowly extended her arm and handed it to Dani.
"Danielle Lopez-Harper, will you go to prom with me?"
Dani took the rose and brought it to her face, inhaling its sweet scent. She reached over and placed it on her nightstand, then brought both of her hands up to cup Santana's face.
"Yes, Santana Lopez-Harper. I will go to prom with you," she grinned. Eagerly, she pulled Santana's face towards her own and connected their lips.
"Thank god," Santana breathed out as they parted. "It would be kind of awkward to get rejected by my own wife."
"How could I say no to that wonderful proposal?" Dani laughed. "And where in the hell did you get a rose from so quickly, you big cheeseball?"
"I may have cut it off of Mrs. N's rose bush..." Santana grinned.
"Santana!" Dani playfully smacked her arm, trying to hide her smile. "She already hates us for being too loud, we don't need her to hate us for being flower thieves!"
"Hey, my girl wanted a decent proposal so she was gonna get one!" Santana defended. "Besides, you know I don't give a fuck what she thinks about our noise levels."
Before Dani could say anything else Santana attached her lips to her neck, causing Dani to gasp in surprise. She could already feel her body starting to heat up and Santana hadn't even done anything yet.
"Santana, we have school tomorrow," she breathed out, trying to keep her head from getting too cloudy at Santana's touch.
"Sucks to be us then, doesn't it?" Santana quickly pulled Dani down on her back and hovered over her. Her lips found their way to the spot behind Dani's ear, smirking as the blonde let out a small moan. "You know what I think we should do babe?" she husked.
"W-what?" Dani asked breathlessly. She reached up and slid her hands under Santana's sleep shirt, running them along her sides.
"I think we should explore more of your erogenous zones," Santana mumbled as she left a trail of kisses down Dani's neck.
"What does that mean?" Dani managed to get out. Santana stopped at her collar bone and sucked harshly on one of Dani's weakest spots. "Oh!" She caught on to the meaning and her hands reemerged from under Santana's shirt, tangling themselves in her raven hair. "Y-yeah, let's do that."
Santana paused to look up at Dani, her cheeks flushed and eyes darkened. She smirked, excited for the night ahead of them.
"Yes. Let's."
