Chapter 9: How they first met

A/N: Enjoy!

Summary: Three things has happened during the last chapter. One, Mantis and Taylor were turned invisible by the Camera Org. Two, Cole and Leon worked together and they successfully saved the two from losing their life energies. Three, when the Camera Org was resurrected as a giant Org, the Rangers's Megazord was powerless against it but not until Leon's Megazord appeared and destroyed the Org completely. Now, the Rangers have invited Leon and his Yummies to return back to Animaria, which they accepted. How will their reunion with Princess Shayla go?

Disclaimer: I do not own Kamen rider or Power Rangers but I own my OC.

"Hey, Princess Shayla!" Cole yelled.

The Princess turned around to see that the Rangers had returned from battling the Org and she smiled,"Welcome back, Rangers. That was some battle you had with that Org. Were you surprised by Leon's power?"

Max nodded,"Yeah. His Megazord was way faster than ours. It was something else."

Princess Shayla smiled,"That's Leon for you. He always comes with surprises since we met. I wonder what kind of surprise he's going to have when he returns to the Animaria."

The Rangers smiled to one another before Taylor spoke,"Well, why don't you see for yourself?"

Princess Shayla faced the Rangers as they moved aside, revealing the Greeed that they were just speaking of moments ago. She dropped the book in her hand and gasped,"L-Leon?!"

The Greeed chuckled as he walked up to the Princess with his hands behind his back,"It has been a while, Princess Shayla." Leon gave her a bow before he moved his right hand, revealing a flower as he handed it to her,"For you."

Princess Shayla smiled as she accepted the flower and hugged the Greeed,"Welcome home, Leon."

Leon returned the hug and spoke,"It's great to be back in the temple, Shayla. After all, this was where we first met."

Alysaa sighed,"Looks like those two are getting along just well."

Taylor nodded,"Yeah. They are close friends after all. And this is their first time meeting again in thousands of years."

Leon soon broke the hug as he said,"Shayla, you wouldn't believe the things I've been through since I was accidentally revived."

The Princess laughed,"I'm sure you've been through a lot. Come, take a seat, Leon. You need to rest."

Danny asked,"Princess? Leon has just came back from a fight. Why would he be feeling tired if he has fought to protect you long ago?"

Princess Shayla replied,"Because, Danny, Leon has a habit of fainting when he fights right away after his revival. This is common during the first two weeks of his revival. Afterwards, he will be able to fight the Orgs at his full strength. I've learnt that when I was watching him back when I was just a girl."

Cole smiled,"I'm quite curious and I'm sure the others are too. How did you two meet? I know Leon did say you two met in this temple but how?"

As Princess Shayla sat Leon down, the Yummies gathered to their master as Shayla said to them,"Take care of Leon. I'm going to tell the Rangers about how we met."

The Yummies nodded as Shayla made her way over to the Rangers,"Well...it all began like this..."

Flashback

"Shayla! Wait for us!" Cried a man as he and his wife was chasing after a girl named Shayla.

As an eight years old Princess Shayla ran into the Valley of the Unknowns, she was blocked off by a force field that suddenly appeared. As she turned, the two adults were unable to follow her as they were unable to get into the place.

"Mother? Father? What's going on?" Shayla asked worriedly.

Shayla's father gave her a reassuring smile,"Everything will be alright, Shayla. Just stay strong for a few more hours. The force field will be down by then and you can come out."

However, Shayla's mother was disappointed,"You shouldn't have come here in the first place. Who knows what could be lurking in the Valley of the Unknowns. No one has ever come out of there alive after going in. How can you be sure if Shayla will make it?"

Her father turned back to his wife,"Because I have faith in Shayla. She can be strong as long as she is close to us. Am I right, Shayla?" As he turned back, Shayla was no longer in sight."Shayla? Where are you?!"

Deeper in the forest, Shayla was following a voice of a boy she was hearing,"Please...somebody...help me..."

"Don't worry. I will be there soon." Shayla called out as she continued to follow the location of the sound. Though there were many thorns in the way she was heading, Shayla continued to press on without worrying about the pain she was feeling in her legs as they brushed through the thorns.

After three hours of walking, Shayla soon stumbled upon a mountain that had small medal-shaped holes at the base of the mountain.

Shayla looked around the area but she couldn't find anything that could match the shapes but then, she looked over at the pile of rocks that looked as if they were hiding something. She removed the rocks and soon discovered several different medals that were in different colors and had different pictures of animals depicted on them.

The Princess picked them up one by one and she inserted the medals into the holes of the mountain.

Not long later, the entire ground started shaking and Shayla lost her balance, resulting in her tripping. As she looked up, the medals were glowing as they levitated out of the holes and circled around the air. Outlines in several colors appeared around the mountain wall in the shape of a door and it slowly slid open as the medals landed in Shayla's hands as she hesitantly walked in.

As she walked into the mountain, the door shut and the entire room was shrouded in darkness. But then, the entire mountain lid up as Shayla was greeted by beautiful paintings on the walls that mesmerized her in many ways.

She stopped at a painting of a humanoid lion figure and smiled as she gazed at its hand, which was holding onto what looks like one of the medals in Shayla's hands. Shayla then saw something written below the painting and read it.

Once she was done, she looked up at the painting and smiled as she whispered,"Leon..."

Then, the voice returned,"I...I hear you...please...help me..."

"Hold on, Leon. I'll help you. But please tell me where are you." Shayla said.

A shiver ran down her back as she turned, seeing a faint trail of golden light. Shayla started following it and she soon found herself in a room filled with seven coffins where each coffin had different animals painted all over them.

She approached a coffin that the golden trail of light came from and she slowly opened up the coffin and she was greeted by a pile of silver medals that formed the shape of a small humanoid creature.

"What do I do now? And where is your body?" Shayla asked.

The voice spoke,"Drop the yellow medal and you will see."

Shayla did as she was told and placed the Lion medal on the pile of medals. Soon, the medal glowed as it levitated up into the air while the silver medals swirled around the Lion medal. The medals then formed a silhouette of a humanoid being that had feline features. A body was soon formed for the medals as they became the creature named Leon.

He turned to Shayla and walked up to her, making her back away. Leon noticed this and placed a hand on Shayla's shoulder,"Thank you for reviving me. I owe you my life. May I please know the name of the charming girl that made this possible?"

Leon held her hands and Shayla blushed slightly,"My name's Shayla. I'm the princess of Animaria. You must be Leon, right?"

The Greeed nodded,"Yes. But I'm just a child just like you, Princess Shayla. It's an honor to be in your presence, princess." He knelt down to the girl and looked up,"I hope you are happy because I can provide you anything you want."

Shayla shook her head,"No need, Leon. But why were you in a coffin in the first place?"

Leon sighed,"It's how me and my brothers and sister came to be. A long time ago, we were created but our creator thought we were going to be trouble so he sealed us off before we could have grow into adults. But thanks to you, I am revived. Again, thank you very much, Princess Shayla."

"It was nothing, Leon." Shayla said."But what about your brothers and sister? Should I revive them too?"

Leon nodded as he took the medals from Shayla and approached the blue coffin beside him that had paintings of Killer whales, Octopuses and Eels. Leon placed a blue medal that had a picture of a Octopus on the coffin's top and the medal was absorbed into the coffin.

Soon, a hand opened the coffin from inside and a humanoid creature appeared out of the coffin and asked in a feminine voice,"Leon, is that you?"

Hearing his name, Leon smiled,"Yes, sister. I am here. Welcome back to the world, Lana." As he got her out of the coffin, Shayla observed the female creature carefully. The creature's body was similar to Leon's, her skin was brownish just like Leon's with a few bandages wrapped around her body while her legs were entirely black with suction cups of an Octopus. A purple cape ran down her back and a few purple tentacles were found near her shoulder areas as well. She was also the same height as Shayla.

Lana looked at Shayla and smiled,"You must be the one who revived my older brother." She bowed,"Thank you! If Leon wasn't revived first, me and my other brothers wouldn't be able to be revive."

Shayla smiled back as she watched Leon walked over to the rest of the other coffins and tossed the medals at each of them.

Soon, five other creatures emerged from their coffins in the forms of medals before their bodies appeared.

The first one to come out had both his arms folded as his body appeared just like Leon and Lana, his skin was also brownish with bandages but that was only on both his legs while his upper body was covered by insect-like armor. His right wrist had metal claws while two mantis legs were attached to his shoulders, a yellow circle was in clear sight on his chest and on his waist while his eyes were covered by a green visor. He is called Saber, the second oldest of the Greeed family besides Leon, who is the oldest.

The second creature that came out of his coffin was similar to Leon and Lana about his body but his legs had armor resembling elephant feet. His face resembled a small elephant with a pair of small tusks protruding out of his face. This Greeed is named Cosmo and he is the youngest of all the Greeeds and is also attached to Lana.

The third Greeed stepped out of his coffin and sat down on top of it as his body appeared. He was completely different from the others as his entire body didn't have any brownish skin with bandages. He was brightly colored with a mix of red, green and yellow. His head resembled a hawk but with a face inside of the hawk's beak. His shoulders had wing-like shoulder pads and his waist had a belt where its buckle had the same yellow circle in the middle. Finally, at his legs, they were covered by bird-like armors. He was known as Talon and he was the third oldest of all the Greeeds.

The fourth Greeed that stepped out and his body appeared. Same as Talon, he was also fully armored. His head resembled a Tyrannosaurus's head but with a face in its mouth, a pair of Ptera wing-like shoulder pads were on his shoulders and a purple cape ran down. At his chest, a Triceratops's face and horns was created as below it was a similar yellow circle. At his waist was a belt that was the same as Talon's. His legs were covered by silver armor and at the top of both his knees was a face of a Ptera with its pair of wings at the corner of its face. The Greeed's eyes was also covered by a purple visor. He is known as Rex, the family's best fighter beside Leon and is also the second middle boy of the family.

The final Greeed leaned against the wall as his body appeared. His head resembled a Shark with gills at his neck. His face was also protected by a layer of teeth that hung above his face and even below. His eyes were also covered by a blue visor. His entire arms, shoulders, chest and waist were blue with scales covering his body and a fin stuck out of his left shoulder. His legs were both dark reddish with two Wolf fish heads protruding out with their jaws opened, showing their teeth at everyone. He is the second youngest and he is called Orion.

As the Greeeds gathered in front of Leon, Lana and Shayla, Talon stretched himself,"That was some nap we had. I wonder when we'll get another."

Saber scoffed,"Quiet, Talon! We're in the presence of our brother."

Leon simply smiled,"Brothers, welcome back to the world. Before we decide what to do, I would like to introduce you to the one who was responsible for our resurrection. Meet Princess Shayla."

As he gestured to Shayla, the Greeeds all faced her and Cosmo whispered to Leon,"Brother, she's pretty."

Shayla heard the young Greeed and blushed as she spoke,"Please to meet you. I am the princess of Animaria, Princess Shayla."

"A princess?!" Rex exclaimed.

Nodding, Shayla turned and said,"Yes. I am a princess. But my parents will get mad because the force field around this Valley will be down soon and then I can't make it in time because this mountain is too far."

Leon placed a hand on Shayla's shoulder and spoke,"Don't worry, princess. We will help you get there in time. Just have faith in us. We know a shortcut that will get us out of this Valley."

"But how?" Shayla asked.

Lana jumped in,"Just because we were sealed away by our creator doesn't mean that we couldn't see anything. When our creator sealed us, he created this Valley and he placed a spell on the Valley, that will make a force field appear every five hours of the day. Leon also messed up when he told you what happened to us. We were actually sealed away because someone with a dangerous ambition for pollution wanted our powers to help him. Our creator knew that if we were used for evil, the world will not be peaceful and so he came to the conclusion that he has to seal us away where no one knows. Until now."

Leon sighed,"Lana, sealing us away because we were trouble is the same thing as what you said! Our creator sealed us because we were causing a lot of unwanted attention, end of story!"

As the two were about to start an argument, Shayla asked,"Can you please stop fighting? I really want to go home."

The two immediately stopped as Leon snapped his fingers, causing a secret door to open that also led to the outside of the mountain. He gestured Shayla and his siblings to follow him as he ran out and they did just that.

Soon, they were out of the mountain and Cosmo fell to the ground,"Leon, I feel so weak..."

Leon faced his younger brother and said,"That's because you don't have all of your Core medals. Talon, can you provide Cosmo with some of your Cell medals?"

Talon nodded as he helped Cosmo up and started dropping Cell medals into Cosmo's body as they continued to move on.

After walking for fifteen minutes, Shayla fell.

Leon helped her up,"Princess, are you alright?"

Shayla nodded as she stumbled as she walked,"I'm fine. I...I'm just getting tired. I have walked for more than three hours just so I can revive you." She was soon picked up by Leon and she was placed on his back,"What are you doing, Leon?"

The Greeed smiled,"This is the least I can do for the one who revived me. Besides, my family now owes you our lives for reviving us. We are in your debt."

Soon, they reached the end of the force field and Shayla cried,"Here's the place! This was where my parents were waiting for me. Mother! Father! Where are you?!"

As Leon lowered her down, he sniffed the air and shifted at the smell that he picked up. He turned to the others,"They're here. The Orgs are here."

The Greeeds growled together as they continuously slammed themselves into the force field, trying their best to disable it faster."What's going on, Leon?" Shayla asked.

Leon replied,"Now is not the time, princess. We fear that your parents are in danger because I have picked up the scent of Orgs."

Shayla gasped,"No! That can't be right. The Valley of the Unknowns is a place the Orgs never come close to. Why would they be here?"

"One could only guess what the Orgs have planned. They are also the reasons why we were sealed away as well." Leon explained.

The force field soon disabled after Talon blasted it with a fireball and they quickly ran out of the Valley, only to be stopped when five Putrids appeared in front of them.

"Putrids!" Rex cried.

Leon turned to Cosmo and Orion,"You two are the youngest of all of us. And young Greeeds tend to get a lot of energy. Enjoy your fight." The two nodded as Cosmo cracked his knuckles while Orion huffed and they both charged at the Putrids.

"While they are being distracted, we can go and find your parents, Princess Shayla. Follow us." Leon said as he held her hand and ran off with Lana and Saber while Talon and Rex charged in to help their younger brothers.

After turning a corner, they saw an Org standing proudly as he had Shayla's father under his foot while Shayla's mother was in a choke-hold."Mother! Father!"

The Org turned his head and grinned,"Oh? It seems the Princess is alive even though she went into the Valley of the Unknowns." He pointed his spear at Shayla and a beam was fired, only to be stopped by Leon."Wait, it can't be...you're a Greeed!"

Shayla's parents looked over to Leon and gasped when they saw Shayla behind him."I may be young for a Greeed, but protecting someone is what I do best. Now, tell us, who are you?"

Laughing, the Org replied,"It's good of you to know. I am the one and only, Warrior Org! The most powerful Org in all of this world! Bringing you back to Master Org will surely get me rank up to be a Duke Org."

Leon growled,"Not going to happen!"

Saber leaped up as he landed a hit on Warrior Org, knocking him off of Shayla's father and Leon slashed the Org's wrist with his claws, releasing his grip of Shayla mother.

As the two adults were brought back to Shayla's side, the three shared a hug and Warrior Org got up,"I will remember that, Greeeds!" He pulled out his spear and tossed it at Leon, only for it to be caught by the Greeed.

"Typical Org. Always wanting to attack first." Leon said. He snapped his fingers and Saber moved in as he jumped over the Org while Lana wrapped her tentacles around the Org.

Leon charged in as his claws were unsheathed and he pierced his claws into the heart of the Org, causing him to groan in pain as Leon removed his hand that was now covered in fluids of the Org's body.

Warrior Org stumbled back as he fell to the ground before dissolving into a pile of green goop.

Leon and his two siblings walked back to Shayla and Leon asked,"Are you alright?"

Shayla gave him a smile as her father got up,"I never thought I would see the day Warrior Org was defeated by the mythical creatures, Greeeds. Thank you for saving us and getting our daughter back."

Leon nodded,"It's the least we Greeeds could do for her since she revived us. We are forever in her debt."

"I don't want that, Leon." Shayla spoke."I...I just want us to be friends. You don't owe me anything. All I did was follow your voice and revived you. That's nothing special to me. I just want us to be friends."

Leon looked up,"Princess...I...I...I don't know what to say. Usually, people who saved a monster's life would want something in return. But you...you're different."

Shayla's mother smiled,"That's because our little Shayla is unique. So, Leon, do you accept our daughter's friendship?"

Leon nodded excitedly as Shayla was gently pushed into his arms. The two blushed as they quickly separated.

"And from that day on, Leon and his siblings have stayed with me throughout my childhood until my parents died and Leon was left alone with me when his siblings all returned to their slumbers for a reason I don't know but Leon wouldn't tell me. And after that, you should know what happened."

The Rangers were amazed by the story they had heard as their mouths were opened.

"So you revived Leon and his siblings and offered them friendship instead of having them as your personal guards for life?" Max asked. The rest of the Rangers faced him with glares and Max stated,"What? It was a joke."

Shayla simply smiled,"Yes. I'm not that cruel to Leon. I may have revived him, but I rather treasure our friendship instead."

Alysaa smiled,"Well, all I can say from that story is that Leon likes you, princess."

The princess blushed,"I knew that when I was twelve. Leon was acting weird that time but when I got to my room at night, he had left me flowers and a gift that he had made himself. I still have it with me." As she walked over to the fountain, she placed both her hands in and removed a sphere that became a heart-shaped chest.

Alysaa gasped,"That's so adorable!"

Shayla nodded,"Yes. Leon had worked very hard to make this for me and I wouldn't just throw it away. The truth is, I do have feelings for him too but I just don't know when I should tell him."

Danny spoke,"Princess, if I may say, Valentine's Day is a few days away. Maybe you can use that day to tell him."

The princess clapped her hands,"Yes! That's perfect! Thank you for the advice, Danny."

The Black Ranger nodded as he got up from his chair and immediately fell to the ground due to his clumsiness.

"But what about the Yummies? When did they appear?" Taylor asked.

Shayla smiled,"Maybe Leon should explained that. Because I didn't know how he even got his first Yummy."

Back down at the city, night has fall over the city as a lone man was walking down the deserted streets of the night.

Dave smirked,"Right on time, prepare to face your doom, Daniel." He turned back to face his newest Yummy,"Are you ready, Cobra? His coming this way."

Cobra snickered,"I am. Just tell me when to strike." Dave nodded as he peeked out of his cover. He grinned when Daniel walked passed him as he continued to stare at his phone.

"Damn it! All those work just gone in a night. When I get my hands on the guy who messed the place up, he will regret it." Daniel muttered.

Turning to Cobra, Dave nodded and motioned Cobra to move in. Cobra nodded as she silently slithered up behind Daniel and stalked him.

When Daniel looked down, he saw the giant shadow behind him and nearly screamed but was silenced by Cobra's tail as she tightened her grip on him. As she lifted him off the ground, Daniel started struggling to break free.

A snap of fingers was heard and Daniel was dropped. He looked up and back away when he saw Cobra.

Dave chuckled,"This is the first time I've ever seen you this scared." He revealed himself as he walked up to Daniel from behind Cobra.

"Dave? What are you doing here? And did you made this freak of nature?!" Daniel demanded.

Cobra hissed but Dave raised his hand to silence her. He walked up to Daniel and slapped the man right on his face. Daniel recoiled and fell on his back."How dare you!" Dave shrieked.

Dave simply smiled as Cobra coiled around Daniel within seconds, suffocating him painfully.

"Now, you will pay for firing me. My friend here will slowly squeeze you and I'm sure you won't be able to survive it." Dave spoke with evilness in his voice.

Hearing this, Daniel whimpered,"Please...please Dave. I have children..."

Dave scoffed,"Don'y give me that crap! You've been single ever since I've met you. And even if you have children, they wouldn't be able to see you anyway." Dave snapped his fingers and Cobra tightened her grip on Daniel as hard as she could.

Cracks were soon heard and the sound satisfied Dave as he watched Daniel gasped from the snaps of his rib cage several times before his face turned pale. Dave nodded and Cobra released the motionless body of Daniel. Dave walked over and placed two fingers on Daniel's neck. Feeling no pulse, Dave laughed as he walked away while Cora followed him from behind.

A/N: That's it for today. Wonder when the next one will be up. Please review.
