Chapter 11: Talon's return

Summary: In the last chapter, three things have happened. The first thing, Shayla's love for Leon has increased yet again. The second thing, Talon has been revived during a party in a museum and he has shown a hatred towards humanity. And the third thing, the Rangers discovered that Cave of Desires, where Shayla had freed the Greeeds, was underneath their noses the whole time, literally. They learn that Leon's crush on Shayla had been evolving into something a Greeed isn't capable of doing. Yet, Leon has kept that feeling away from Shayla during their time together. But now, things will be more smooth when Shayla tells him the truth.

As the night was slowly turning to day, Leon woke up from his night slumber. He looked to his side to see the Rangers all asleep while Princess Shayla was nowhere in sight. Leon chuckled as he walked towards the fountain,"Good morning, princess." He placed a rose beside the fountain and looked around to see that the Rangers were still asleep.

Quietly, Leon got up and made his way out of the temple, while avoiding the twigs along the way.

"And where are you going, master Leon?" Jaguar asked as she approached her master. Leon turned to her and she leaped over him,"You know, master Leon, I was created to track down preys and well, I can certainly track you down as well, master. So, where are you heading off in such a hurry and even in the early hours of the day?"

Leon sighed,"I was going to head to the Cave of Desires for a few hours. But since you're here, Jaguar, would you like to accompany me there?"

The Jaguar Yummy nodded as she walked alongside her master.

It took them nearly half an hour to reach the Cave of Desires, which was a lot faster than usual thanks to Leon since he knew of a shortcut.

As Leon placed several Cell medals in the slots of the mountain's wall, the door opened and they entered the Cave of Desires. As the door closed, the lights of the cave lit up brightly, warmly welcoming Leon and Jaguar to the cave as several Hawk Candroids flew over to them. Leon chuckled at the droids as they perched themselves onto his shoulders and head while one remained on Jaguar's shoulder.

They then approached a chamber that once contained an artifact used by Leon and his siblings.

Once they entered the chamber, they were greeted by several Ride Vendors and several of the same weapon. Leon approached the weapon while Jaguar remained at the chamber's entrance."Master, are you sure about it? You can hardly keep your body from fainting after a battle. How are you going to use it in battle in that condition?"

Leon removed the sword from the Ride Vendor in front of him and spoke,"Jaguar, the Medajalibur is a sword that my creator allowed me and my siblings to use in battle no matter what the situation is. I'm sure I can still use it in my condition." Leon examined the weapon for a moment before he placed his OOO Driver on his waist and inserted his Core medals into it. He grabbed his O Scanner and scanned the three Core medals,"Transform!"

"LION!"

"TORA!"

"CHEETAH!"

"LATAH, LATAH! LATORA~~TAR!"

As the three holographic yellow medals combined to become one big medal, it merged with Leon as he was now clad in a black armor. A second later, the color yellow started appearing around his body while a yellow mane appeared around his face and a pair of blue eyes were also equipped. A symbol appeared on his chest where it was depicting a lion, a tiger and a cheetah. A pair of tiger claws were formed at his wrists and his leg were designed off of a cheetah.

Leon has once again, transformed into Kamen rider OOO.

He raised his Medajalibur and inserted three Cell medals that depicted a Lion, Cheetah and Tiger into the blade. Next, Leon crushed five of his Cell medals and tossed them around the room. Soon, ten Waste Yummies rose from the ground. Leon turned to Jaguar and smiled,"Just watch, Jaguar. Nothing will go wrong."

As the Waste Yummies shuffled towards Leon, he steadied himself as he swung his sword, slashing each Yummies as they came close to him.

One of the Waste Yummies grabbed Leon by his legs and Leon's Lion symbol flashed before his mane glowed intensely as the ground under him cracked and the Waste Yummy was burned. Leon grabbed it by its neck and tossed it up. As the Waste Yummy was falling, Leon swung his Medajalibur and the Waste Yummy was sliced in half before exploding.

Facing the rest of the Waste Yummies, Leon scanned his Medajalibur with his O Scanner,"TRIPLE SCANNING CHARGE!" As the blade of the weapon glowed, Leon swung his Medajalibur sideways and five of the Waste Yummies were sliced in half while the fabric of reality behind them and beside them was sliced as well. Then, the sliced up fabric of reality was restored and the Yummies exploded.

Leon's Cheetah symbol flashed and he ran up to the remaining Waste Yummies within a second before stabbing one of them with his Medajalibur while thrusting his Tora Claw into another Waste Yummies. Leon then leaped up and his Cheetah Legs started kicking a Waste Yummy as fast as lightning.

As the three Waste Yummies were destroyed, Leon turned to the remaining Waste Yummy and Leon tossed the Medajalibur at it, causing it to explode before it could react. Leon then looked back to Jaguar and saw that she had a shocked expression on her face. He chuckled,"You should see the look on your face, Jaguar. I find that adorable. You should use that expression more often. If only Shayla could do it..."

He turned to a Candroid and spoke,"You, do you mind if I ask you to head down to the human city? Today is no exception for the Orgs to attack. I'm counting on you." The Hawk Candroid chirped loudly as it could and took off. Leon turned to Jaguar again and said,"Jaguar, let's head back to the temple. The Rangers have probably woken up by now."

Jaguar nodded,"Yes, master." As she walked alongside him, she felt a hesitant feeling within her chest as she asked,"Um, master Leon?" The Greeed turned to his Yummy and she continued,"I was wondering if..."

"Yes?" Leon asked.

Again, the hesitation grew as Jaguar spoke,"What will you think of me if Princess Shayla loved you back?"

That question surprised Leon. He didn't expect Jaguar, his first Yummy, to ever ask that."Jaguar, what makes you think of that?"

She looked away from her master,"I...I just don't want you to abandon me. I'm afraid, master. I'm afraid that you'll abandon me when you enter your love life." Tears started to run down her eyes.

Leon walked up to her and wiped away her tears before he spoke,"Jaguar, I would never abandon you. You are the first Yummy I have ever created that is based off of a feline like me, in both the present and the past. How could I ever throw away the one Yummy I have always cared for. You, Jaguar, are my little kitten. And no kitten of mine shall be abandon for any reason! Jaguar, I couldn't have make it this far if it wasn't for you. You were the one who kept me going when I am in doubt of something. I couldn't have asked for anything better than you."

The two shared a hug and Jaguar rested her head on her master's shoulder."Thank you, master."

Leon chuckled,"No problem, my kitten. Now come, we have a lot to do today." Jaguar nodded excitedly as they exited the Cave of Desires.

Back at the temple, everyone had just woken up and they had also realized that Leon wasn't around.

"Uh guys? Have you seen Leon?" Cole asked.

The rest of the Rangers shook their head and Taylor asked,"What are you worrying about? Leon probably went out for a walk or something. Or maybe he's just around here somewhere."

"That's the point, Taylor." Cole replied."I've went to see the Red Lion but Leon wasn't there. Red Lion even told me that he hasn't seen Leon anywhere. He's worried too. Red Lion told me that Leon has always been the one who took care of all the Wild Zords in the past when no one knew their whereabouts. Leon has protected them from so many things and now, the Zords want to repay him back by giving him these..."

Cole lifted his hand and three Core medals were shown on the palm of his hand. Two blue Core medals and they both depicted Eels while the third was a green Core medal that depicted a Stag Beetle.

The Rangers gasped as they gathered around Cole. Max picked up the two blue Core medals and spoke,"Whoa! I had no idea the Wild Zords carried these."

Nodding, Cole replied,"Your Wild Zord was the one who handed them to me. Red Lion gave me the green one."

Max stared at him in disbelief,"Blue Shark gave you these?!" He groaned,"Aw...I should have followed you, Cole. Then maybe then Blue Shark would have gave me these instead." Then, Danny tapped Max on the shoulder. The Blue Ranger looked at him and asked,"What's up, Danny?"

Danny replied,"Max, a new copy of the Turtle Cove Gossipers are being sold today. Wanna take go grab one?"

Hearing this, Max cheered,"Count me in, Danny! Let's go see what they say this time." As Max handed the Core medals back to Cole, he and Danny ran out of the temple as fast as they could.

"What's up with them?" Cole asked.

Taylor rolled her eyes,"Oh you know. The Turtle Cove Gossipers has always been their favorite thing to read about Turtle Cove. Since you're new to this place, I'll explain it to you. The Turtle Cove Gossipers write down reports of strange and interesting things for the people to read. In the last copy, they talked about a temple on the far side of town and said that the coffin that laid in the middle of the main room had opened and a monster came out of it, scaring the two workers away. The there was one where Turtle Cove's Museum had discovered a coffin at an Excavation Site and they were going to open it last night. Now I'm curious about what might be inside."

"If you ask me, I say that this 'Turtle Cove Gossipers' don't know how to keep their nose to themselves."

The three remaining Rangers turned to see Macaw and Mantis standing near a pillar. Macaw scoffed,"Humans sure have evolve quite prematurely. To think that they would understand the meaning of 'privacy' and 'mind your own business'."

Cole nodded,"I kinda agree with you. Sticking your nose in other people's businesses is just wrong."

Mantis smiled,"Finally! A human that understands humility and respect! Quite impressive for the leader of Wild Force. Reminds me of the Red Warrior of the past, don't you think, Macaw?"

The bird-based Yummy nodded in agreement."Yes. He showed the exact same traits as you, Cole."

Just then, Jaguar walked in and Mantis chuckled,"Well, if it isn't Leon's little kitten. Care to tell us where he is?"

Jaguar giggled,"He went down to the human city. He said he wanted to explore it more." She then walked over to the two male Yummies and glared at them,"And only master Leon gets to call me kitten. Remember that or you'll either be his lunch or his dinner. He told me he was running low on Cell medals after he had to summon the Scorching Megazord."

Both Mantis and Macaw backed away slowly as Jaguar unsheathed her claws. They both knew that she was playful at times but she can be dead serious if her claws were involved in anything.

In the city, Max and Danny had just gotten their copy of the Turtle Cove Gossipers and they had already started flipping through the pages.

"Hey Danny. Check this one. It says that last night when they opened the coffin at the museum, a monster came out from it and it killed a lot of people. Do you think it could be an Org?"

Danny raised an eyebrow,"Why would you think an Org would be resting in that coffin? Orgs don't die in coffins or rest in them. Maybe we should ask Leon when we get back. So are there anymore things happening?"

Max nodded as he flipped through the pages and stopped at the next,"The Turtle Cove Gossipers says that old temple on the edge of town is being occupied by a monster that came out of a coffin similar to the one in the museum. Danny, this could be our chance to see what kind of monsters we're facing this time that isn't part of the Orgs. Who knows, maybe an Org will appear too."

"But Max, it's going to be dark soon." Danny protested.

The Blue Ranger laughed,"I know. It would be awesome! Monsters in the show always appear in the dark during the night. I can't wait to see that monster for myself." Danny hesitated and Max rolled his eyes,"Come on, Danny. Are you with me?"

For a while, Danny remained hesitant about the idea but he soon gave in to it after thinking about it."Yeah, I'm with you."

Danny then turned, only to see someone he didn't expect to see. His friend, Kendall, a girl who also works in the flower shop that Danny was working at before he became a Ranger.

"Dan, you in there?" Max asked as he waved his hand in front of the daydreaming Danny, wanting an answer from his best friend.

Then, Kendall reached for her pocket with her free hand but the flower pot in her other hand was about to drop and Danny's eyes widen in realization."Oh no." Without a second thought, Danny made a dash towards Kendall while avoiding a woman and her baby and also a businessman who was too busy reading his documents than looking at where he was walking towards.

In a nick of time, Danny fell onto the ground and caught the flower pot before it could be smashed on the ground. Meanwhile, Max just stood at where he was, dumbfounded by Danny's act.

As Danny got up, he hid his face behind the flower pot and handed the pot to Kendall who soon realized that it was Danny.

"Danny? Is that you?" Kendall asked and she received a smile from the Black Ranger. She smiled back and they walked over to her car as she asked,"What have you been doing for the past four months?" The Black Ranger didn't reply. Instead, he gave a chuckle and Kendall smiled. They got into her car and drove off, letting Max realize that he was now on his own.

He shook his head and slapped himself for a moment,"Wait...did he just left me? Fine, I'll find the monster on my own."

At the temple on the edge of Turtle Cove, Talon sat at a tree branch just outside of the temple, looking furiously at the construction workers that were removing things from the temple and preparing their machines.

He scoffed in disgust,"Humans sure have evolve since the last time I was alive. Maybe it's time I make my comeback in Leon's temple. That would surely scare the lights out of the humans. But the question to myself now is where could Leon be hiding. Usually, I would feel his presence but now, nothing alive is around besides those humans."

Talon removed a Cell medal and crushed it before dropping the two split pieces of the Cell medal onto the ground. Then, two Waste Yummies emerged and they shuffled closer towards Talon."Yummies! We can't let those petty humans tear down my brother's temple! Get rid of them but no deaths are to be expected." The Yummies looked at each other for a few moments before looking back at Talon and giving him a nod. He chuckled to himself as he watched his Yummies stumble their way towards the human workers."Hopefully, you are still around here, Leon. I can feel that Macaw is with you."

Minutes later, a human scream was heard and Talon looked up to see that one of his Yummies was holding a human by his throat. The Yummy tossed the human aside and grabbed a broken pole before throwing it at another worker, knocking the human on his helmet and he fell to the ground, unconscious.

"Perfect." Talon jumped down from the branch and he made his way towards the humans.

One of the humans turned, only to see Talon. He screamed but it was to no help as Talon swung his hand at the human, giving him deep cuts across his face. The human covered his face in pain as blood gushed out and coated his hands in his own blood. Talon chuckled as he grabbed the human,"Human, order your men to retreat to where you came from. Tell them to never return here or you will all face death! And if you touch another artifact from this temple, I will personally remove your head from your neck. I promise it will be painful as well."

He removed his grip from the human. Terrified, the human took out his walkie-talkie and spoke into it,"This...this is Jonathan. Drop everything you are carrying and get out of here! There're monsters here and they'll kill us if we don't leave now. I repeat, leave everything and get out of here!"

Jonathan then dropped the walkie-talkie and collapsed.

Talon laughed as he picked up the human."This one knows who's in charge. I think he'll be a fine parent for a Yummy." Talon dropped the human onto the floor and placed a Cell medal inside his Medal Slot on his head. Then, a green crack appeared on Jonathan's chest and a White Yummy emerged from it. The Yummy then started to molt as its old skin had shed off.

Now, the Yummy had turned into what look like a feminine Yummy with a curve and sleek body. She was almost the same height as Talon as well. She removed her last few sheds of skin and radiant peacock feathers emerged from her back while a beak sprouted from her mouth. Her feet developed talons as well as her hands. The Yummy's neck had red feathers covering it with her entire body surrounded by brownish feathers that formed a dress-like armor.

She smiled at Talon and bowed,"Master Talon. How nice of you to revive me."

Talon kissed one of her hands and replied,"It was actually luck, my dear chick. I wasn't expecting you. But it's always good to have my first creation be at my side again. I've always enjoyed your company when you were first created."

Peacock giggled as a blush formed on her face,"Aw...I miss you too, Talon." The two shared a hug before Peacock asked,"Talon, where's Leon? Isn't this his temple?"

Talon sighed,"I have no idea where my brother is, Peacock. But what's important is that we don't allow anymore humans to come here and remove any of the artifacts. Those were made by our followers from the past and I won't let these humans of the present ruin them."

Giggling, Peacock made her way to the entrance of the temple,"Always hotheaded aren't you, Talon? I guess you're the only one in the family who has that trait."
