Dusk approached as the sun slowly sank under the horizon.
In the temple within the Animarium, Macaw rested at a nearby tree where he gazed at the orange sun. Soon, the sky turned golden orange in color and Macaw chuckled,"The mystery of the sun sure is...exciting to understand. I wonder how master Talon is doing."
Then, a sudden jolt in his body sparked and he stood up, gasping at the same time."It can't be...master Talon has been...revived?!" Macaw quickly got down from the tree and he made a dash through the trees. Unknown to him, Leon was watching.
The Greeed chuckled,"First thing I came back from the city, I see Macaw running off to somewhere I don't know yet. What are you hiding, Macaw?" He sniffed the air and was able to pick up the Yummies's scent. Leon started following the trail of the scent as slowly and carefully as he could so that he doesn't get Macaw suspicious.
Even though Macaw was given to Leon by Talon as a farewell gift, Leon still had trouble knowing what goes on in Macaw's spare time and now, maybe he was going to do just that. Leon's Core medals sent jolts of anticipations throughout his body, anxious to know what Macaw was planning.
Back at the temple after Leon had left, Princess Shayla walked in with Jaguar. They both were laughing as they entered the temple. Then, they stopped when they spotted something near the fountain.
They approached it and Shayla picked it up, gasping at realizing what it was. In her hand, were two handmade jewelry necklaces and a note was resting in between them. Shayla opened it and read it aloud,"To my dearest princess and my adorable little kitten, I hope you two love them. It's one of my few greatest desires to make them for you two. I honestly don't always do this kind of thing but you two are the most precious and closest beings in my life. All I want is to make you two happy. And as what girls of this era say,"Diamonds are girls best friend"."
Jaguar and Shayla put on their necklaces and they looked at each other."You look amazing, princess." Jaguar said with admiration.
Shayla smiled,"You look just as glamorous as you can get, Jaguar. Who knew Leon was a great craftsman as well." Jaguar nodded in agreement and they both sat down near the fountain.
They gazed at the note that Leon had written and sighed as they wondered where he was. To Jaguar, she knew that her master should have returned and leaving behind the necklaces and note was proof. But now, Leon was not around. Jaguar was getting worried. She looked around the temple but found no trace of her master. Not even her nose was of any help since Leon had masked it.
"He isn't here, is he?" Shayla asked. Jaguar shook her head and Shayla sighed,"At least we can hope he is all right. I can't stand seeing him get hurt again after all he has been through."
"You have no idea, princess. Leon's been through a lot more than you can imagine. But I'm more worried for my master's consciousness. He still feels drowsy now and then. I just hope he's all right and not in the Org's clutches."
Shayla sighed,"Leon isn't that crazy enough to go alone into Org territory."
"He was in the past before he met you, princess." Jaguar said with sadness in his tone."Back then, he was fearless and nothing in this world could stop him. But until he was sealed away with his siblings, he lost all that bravery and courage when he met you. Instead, he became a somewhat shy guy now. And that was because he has fallen for you, Shayla. My master is now forever loyal to you. So you're right about him not being as crazy as he was once."
Just then, White Tiger approached the two of them with a worried look on her face.
"White Tiger, are you worried about Leon too?" Shayla asked.
The Wild Zord nodded and Jaguar rolled her eyes,"Join the club, sister. You're not the only one who's worried about Leon. After all, we all know about your little crush on Leon as well. But more specifically, his Golden Tiger Zord." White Tiger's face turned bright red and Shayla smiled,"I remember Leon telling me that his Zords were a part of him as well. Which means that I have competition."
"Have you ever heard of a Pride, princess Shayla?" Jaguar asked. The princess shook her head and Jaguar continued,"A Pride is a group of female felines such as Lionesses come together to stay with one or two male in the group. And in this Pride, the males are the Alpha. Which means they are in control of everything. But in Leon's case, he doesn't want that dominance. That is why Leon hasn't formed one yet. But if you checked his diary, you can see an entry of his stating about his decision of forming a Pride one day. And you are part of it, princess. But I suggest you don't read it, it might be too much for you."
Shayla made her way to the fountain and she placed her hands into the water before pulling out Leon's diary from it. As she flipped through the pages, she stopped at the one Jaguar has mentioned and read it.
"It has been nearly a few weeks since I have been left alone to protect the princess by my brothers and sister. Still, I am quite curious about their disappearance. I just wished they had told me the reason. All I know is that I was given at least one of each of their Yummies to serve me in return for leaving me. And from what I can tell, I suspect that they are trying to make me form a Pride with the princess. At first thought, I was rejecting this thought, knowing that an inter-species relationship is forbidden even to Greeeds. But then again, I would love to have princess Shayla with me. The problem is that she is a human. An inter-species relationship has always led people to become outcasts of their people. I don't want Shayla to be a disappointment to her family by having a relationship with me. But I can't help it. I love her with all my so called heart. However, there is a way..."
Reading this, Shayla's interest spiked up as she tensed herself,"The only way for me and Shayla to be together was to..." She dropped the book. Shayla backed away from it, shivering in fear of what she had read.
Jaguar sighed,"I told you, princess. You wouldn't like it. But it's the only way. Even now, the love code of the Greeed is to make sure that the one they love is a Greeed or Yummy as well. There's no other choice, princess. You'll have to obey it if you are to be Leon's mate."
White Tiger growled in agreement and Jaguar spoke,"See? Even the mechanical lifeform understood it and she's an exception for this kind of case since she is a Wild Zord and so is a part of Leon. But you, princess, you are a human. And the only way to be together with Leon is that method."
All Shayla had now on her mind was if she was up for it or would she have to abandon her love for Leon and remain as who she is now.
"Master Talon! What do you plan to do here? We know that Leon isn't anywhere near here so why would we stay here?!" Peacock whined as she swung her legs.
Talon chuckled as he climbed onto the roof and sat right next to her. He gently placed his fingers near her chin and lifted her face up a little, making eye contact."My dear chick, we're here for a reason. Since Leon has Macaw with him, that strategist will surely sense me, his former master, and he will come here. And following him here will be my dear brother, Leon."
"But why a sudden urge to meet your brother all of a sudden? Couldn't you wait longer since you've just been revived. Fighting isn't something you Greeeds love to do once revived. Didn't you tell me yourself that if you battle straight away after reviving, you would faint constantly?" Peacock spoke with concern as she embraced her master,"I don't want to be separated from you again, master Talon. You know how much it hurts me to see you leave me all alone!"
Talon sighed as he gave her a gentle kiss,"Peacock, please, believe me. It's true that I'll faint every time I battle after I revive. But that's not going to stop me from making this world safe for you, my chick. This world...all of it, will belong to our family soon. You, me, Leon, Shayla and everyone else. We will all be free from the Orgs's plague of destruction when we take down Master Org. But until then, please bear with me. I can't just stop fighting for the peace we deserve. My family was created to safe the world from the Orgs. And that I will fulfill with my siblings. And after that, I'll make sure you get treated more better than I am doing now. Nothing in this world other than my family is more important than seeing you smile like you have when I first fell in love with you."
As they both shared another kiss, they heard a slight cough and broke their kiss, only to see macaw standing in front of them."Um...did I intrude on something or what?"
Peacock whined,"Macaw! You ruined the mood!"
Macaw rolled his eyes,"Jeez, as if I didn't have to deal with Jaguar and her claws. I have to deal with you again."
Talon growled at them both,"All right. Settle down you two! There's no room for fighting anymore. Anyway, Macaw, did Leon follow you here?"
Shaking his head, macaw replied,"I didn't know you wanted to see Leon. You know you can just walk up to him back in the Animarium and just talk to him there, right?"
"And risk being attack by this era's warriors? No in your life, Macaw. I rather meet him in his temple. Besides, I remember he always comes here to answer his followers's prayers as well in the past. I'm sure there are still some of them in this era as well." Talon spoke as he folded his arms and glided down to the ground with Peacock and Macaw following him.
But as soon as they reached the ground, Talon fell onto his knees, clutching his chest with his hand. Seeing this, Peacock and Macaw immediately rushed to their master's side.
"Oh, now I now where Macaw was heading." The two Yummies and their master looked up to see Leon standing against the temple's entrance wall with the Kujaku Medal in his hand, glowing. Leon walked over to Talon and spoke,"Talon, if you remembered correctly, whenever a Greeed is in possession of another Greeed's Core medal, the one who's Core medal is missing tends to suffer pains. But I wouldn't want to see my brother in such pain. So, here..." Leon tossed the medal over to Talon, who caught it.
Talon slowly got up and placed the Core medal near his chest, where a small hole appeared and he pushed the Core medal into it before the hole was sealed off. With a sigh of relief, Talon looked over his shoulder to see that one of his wings had materialized. He shifted a bit and the wing vanished. Talon looked back at Leon and spoke,"Leon, it's good to see you again."
Leon, however, didn't have a 'welcome back from revival' kind of smile or expression on his face. It was more like a expression where he felt betrayed."I'm not surprised to see you, Talon. You must have been revived from the pollution that the current era humans are creating. But what I'm more interested in is why you left me, Talon. You and our siblings left me. What do you have to say to that?"
From what he heard, Talon felt a sudden chill run down his feathers. Oh no...if Leon finds out what the others and I discovered, he wouldn't be too please with the secret. I have to come up with a plan for now...Talon played with his hands and spoke hesitantly,"Um...well, you see...we left you because...um...because we thought that you may need some...uh...privacy with the princess. That's all."
Leon wasn't buying it,"Yeah. As if that was obvious. Tell me the truth, Talon. Why did all of you leave me?" Leon unsheathed his claws and raised them up to Talon's neck."You know I hate doing this kind of things to you and the others. So just tell me why."
"It's...it's best if you didn't." Talon muttered as he pushed Leon's hand away."But more importantly, the Orgs are still around, aren't they?" Leon nodded and Talon continued,"Then we have to stop things fight for now. We have to defeat Master Org this time or else Peacock and I won't have the perfect life we seek."
"What do you think I'm trying to do? I'm trying my best to work with the current group of warriors even if some of them are a pain. But Shayla's safety is my priority. I want this want to end more than you, Talon. I have Shayla to take care of and not to mention you and our other siblings when they revive as well, whenever they do." Leon spoke as he walked back to the temple.
As he entered it, he spotted an unconscious man lying on the ground. He growled at Talon,"And could you explain to me why is there a man in my temple, unconscious?!"
Talon kicked the man's body aside and spoke,"Brother, he tried to remove the artifacts that our followers worked so hard to make for you. Do you think I would just stand there and let their hard work go to waste when this man led a whole group of humans to tear this place down. It was a good thing I came here to scare them off."
A slap then came across Talon's face and he stumbled back. He looked up to see Leon, engulfed by an aura of rage."We do not harm humans! Must I repeat that every time?!" Leon punched the Bird Greeed across his face and Talon fell on his back. Leon then pinned him down with his right leg as heat radiated from his body, causing the floor to crack upon the tremendous heat.
Cell medals burst from Talon's body as the heat attacked him. He tried to talk his brother out of it but to no avail. Leon's fury had reached its peak and he wasn't going to hold back. Leon roared as he placed the OOO Driver on his waist and inserted three of his Core medals into the slots before grabbing the O Scanner and swiping it across the belt.
"LION!"
"TORA!"
"CHEETAH!"
"LATAH, LATAH! LATORA~~TAR!"
As the three holographic yellow medals combined to become one big medal, it merged with Leon as he was now clad in a black armor. A second later, the color yellow started appearing around his body while a yellow mane appeared around his face and a pair of blue eyes were also equipped. A symbol appeared on his chest where it was depicting a lion, a tiger and a cheetah. A pair of tiger claws were formed at his wrists and his leg were designed off of a cheetah.
Leon has once again, transformed into Kamen rider OOO.
The image of the tiger flashed as the glow traveled to his claws, unfolding them as he slashed them across Talon's chest. Next, Leon grabbed Talon by his neck and tossed him across the room, landing in front of the two Bird Yummies.
Peacock ran up to her master and shook him,"Talon! What do you think you're doing?! You know you're not up against your brother like this! Why do you keep this up and not end it?!"
Talon coughed as Cell medals continued to pour out of his body,"I...I have no choice. Once my brother's in a rage, he won't stop until he gets what he wants from me. And that means I have to free that human parent of yours, Peacock. But the problem is that..."
"I'll disappear if that human is freed from the Cell medal's influence..." Peacock finished and Talon nodded. Leon's growls gotten louder as he took out his Medajalibur. Seeing it, Talon gasped at the sight of the weapon, knowing that it could kill any Yummy in a single slash of it.
As Leon got nearer, Talon pushed Peacock aside as Leon swung the sword, scarring Talon's chest as two of his Core medals were released from his body, causing most of Talon's body to revert to a brownish color with bandages. Leon picked up the Core medals from the ground and they started glowing, causing a pain to fill Talon's chest.
"You were always the arrogant one in the family, Talon. Our creator would have been disappointed in you if he'd ever saw you like this now." Leon spoke as he pressed his foot against his brother's chest. As he raised his Medajalibur up, Talon braced himself for an attack that could end his life, again. But, it didn't come. He opened his eyes and saw that Peacock and Macaw were standing in front of him while Leon was knocked down.
"And how different are you now, Leon?!" Macaw cried."You call master Talon an arrogant Greeed who doesn't care for anyone but how different are you now? Here you are, standing ready to kill your own brother as if he were an Org! Tell us, how different are you from an Org now?!"
Hearing this, Leon put down his Medajalibur and his armor disappeared as he took out his OOO Driver from his waist. He dropped his Medajalibur and spoke,"You're...right, Macaw. What kind of Greeed am I to act like an Org. I...I don't deserve this at all." As his turned, he dropped his OOO Driver onto the floor. Leon then opened his chest and removed his remaining Core medals and dropped them."I've failed...to be the Greeed our creator wanted me to be. I've nearly become the Org that Toxica and Jindrax were after. I cannot allow that to happen at all. Macaw, please...give my regards to Jaguar and Shayla. They're probably worried for me right now."
Talon slowly got up and stumbled his way to Leon's side. He placed a hand on Leon's shoulder and spoke,"Leon...please don't do this to me. Please! I've just revived from my slumber! I still need your guidance, your leadership, your..." Before he could continue, he felt his hand pass through Leon's shoulder as the Feline Greeed slowly turned to Cell medals.
"I'm sorry, Talon. But I'm not worth the title of the leader anymore. I've...failed."
A/N: That's a wrap for now! Please review. And sorry for the sudden rush in this 'death' sort of thing.
