I don't remember why, but I kept running down that dirt road and I couldn't stop shaking. I couldn't stop shaking, I couldn't stop shaking, and I couldn't stop shaking. It is pitch black, but I keep on running down that dirt road. My head felt heavy and pounded with each step I took. What am I running from? Why was I running? I felt myself slow down, but my breathing quickened. A knife was clutched tightly in one of my hand, coated with crusty blood and it reeked.

Then I heard it.

Light rustling was heard behind me and I picked up my pace, beginning to run again. The noise was unbearable. The loud ear-piercing noise would get louder as I tried to run faster. The road before me had now gotten light to shine on it, but it's such white light. A burning white light. I hear myself. I hear myself breathing erratically as I desperately try to run away from the thing behind me.

"Wait for me!" a deep feminine voice behind me commanded and the white light that once blinded me disappeared. I didn't slow down. I ran and my legs felt sore, tired, and like they were about to rip off from my body, but I felt myself being lift off of the ground. And my shoulders burned but it didn't hurt. I look up and saw a girlish looking face. Dark, dark hair and piercing blue eyes, is she someone I know? Why is it that I was able to see her in this darkness? She clutched me tighter and I felt my whole torso burn up.

It happened so quickly, but I know she must have gotten hurt because we started going down. She clung onto me and my body feels scorched all over, but in front of me I was cushioned by soft, pure white feathers.

"I won't let go!" She cried. I feel her grip on me loosening.

"Please, don't let go too." Her voice cracked. I couldn't find my voice to tell her anything. I just need to tell her something reassuring.

We plummet to the ground. She fell first and I felt myself impact on top of her, but she wouldn't let go of me and clutched to me like her dear life.

"Don't…"

Everything was blurry at first. I couldn't quite make out what was going on around me, except for unbearable crying and electronic beeping noises. My arms felt heavy and I felt very uncomfortable. The people around me peered at me as if I were someone they know. I look around the room trying to make sense of what had just happened. What did happen? Was it all a dream? The small blonde and black haired girls to my side tightened their grips on my arm as I slowly turned to them. Do I know these people?

"Ichi-nii," the girl with blonde hair choked, "you're back."

A/N: Hey guys, long time no see. I haven't updated my other fic, because I just couldn't find the motivation to write another chapter. Everything seemed kinda bland and boring and since I was already basing it off something else, I wanted the content to be somewhat original. This is just a prologue to a (possible) new fic that I'm writing to get off of my writer's block because it's been forever. I hope you guys enjoy it. Btw, I got kinda inspired to write this fic because of Destiel.
