Hey guys! I got this little idea from a great song called "Forever and Always" by parachute. You should listen to it! I love it. Anyways, I hope you guys like this oneshot! This is set after HOO, and they are in their mid twenties.

Allons-y!

Where is he?

Annabeth Chase sat at her kitchen table, glaring at the clock that was mocking her.

He should have been here 2 hours ago.

Annabeth glanced at her phone, just as she had been doing for the past couple hours, and sighed.

She had been trying to call him, but every single time she did it went straight to voicemail.

The last she'd heard of him was right before he left.

"I am leaving my house now to pick you up, Wisegirl. I will be there soon. I promise."

I promise.

Percy Jackson was a man of his word. When he vowed to do something, he did it, regardless of what others said.

Annabeth resisted the urge to pick up her phone again. She glanced out the window again, and looked at the empty driveway.

She had called his work, all of his friends, everyone who might've known where he was. No one had heard anything from him.

Something is wrong.

The phone suddenly buzzed to life, and she snatched it up, but then faltered at the I.D.

Hospital

Annabeth suddenly felt sick inside.

Oh gods...

Annabeth clicked the green button with shakey hands.

"Ms. Chase? This is Rose, from the hospital. Your fiance is in the ICU. He was in a terrible accident. Please, come down ASAP."

In a shakey voice she answered,"Oh god, oh... um... Okay, I will be there soon."

Annabeth slammed the phone shut and ran out of the house, not caring that she was wearing only sweatpants and one of Percy's shirts. She jumped into her car, and turned the key quickly, making the car roar to life. Her mind was numb, the only thought being of Percy, and that night that felt so long ago now. She glanced down to the shiny rock on her left hand, and thought back to when he proposed.

It was the spring of 2020. Annabeth and Percy were in a fancy restraunt that Percy had won free reservations to.

Or, at least, that's what Percy told her.

They had finished their risotto a long time ago. The couple lingered a bit longer to talk to each other and just relish the company of the other. After making a terrible attempt of telling Annabeth a knock knock joke.-I mean, seriously. When will people get that 'Orange you glad' is way over used- Percy took hold of Annabeth's hand, interlacing their fingers together.

"Wisegirl, you know I'm not very good with words, so I'm going to try to make this short and sweet."

Percy got up out of his chair, and moved around the table, and knelt next to her on one knee.

"I want you forever and Always. Through the good, and the bad, and the ugly. I want to grow old together, forever and always." He pulled a ring box out of his pocket and opened it.

"Wisegirl, will you marry me?"

By now, everyone in the room was looking at them, all pondering the same question.

Yes? Or No?

Annabeth smiled and slipped down to her knees, grabbing both sides of his face. She pulled his face to hers and kissed him with all the love and passion she could muster. When they broke apart, needing air, Percy was the first to break the silence.

"So, I'll take that as a yes?" Annabeth laughed.

"What do you think, Seaweed Brain."

He smiled that huge goofy grin of his, and slipped the ring on her finger. They kissed again, making their bodies tingle from the sheer love that sparked in the kiss.

When they pulled apart, they noticed that everyone was clapping, whistling, and yelling out their approval.

Percy wrapped his arm around her waist and stood up with her in his arms. They both looked at each other, then smiled.

"Lets get outta here." Percy said, stearing her towards the door.

Annabeth was snapped out of her daydreaming when she reached the hospital.

Annabeth got out of her car, and all but ran to the front desk.

"I'm Annabeth Chase. My fiance's name is Percy Jackson. He was in a car accident."

"Ah yes. If you would just follow me, I can bring you to the ICU waiting room where a doctor can talk to you."

The receptionist, Rose, according to her name tag, led her down what felt like a million halls. She was briefly reminded of the Labryinth. The endless maze.

When they finally got to the waiting room, the doctor was already waiting there.

Dr. Tennant had been a friend of theirs since camp. He was a son of Apollo, hence why he was a doctor.

"Ms. Chase, your husband recieved..." He continued, listing off all the injuries Percy had recieved, but Annabeth wasn't listening.

"Yeah, can I see him, please?" She inturruped.

"Sure. Follow me."

While they walked to the room, Annabeth asked in a low voice, "Have you tried giving him necter and ambrosia?"

He sighed, "His wounds are too severe for it to do much good. At best, we bought him some time."

Annabeth froze.

"Do you mean-"

"Yes," He inturrupted. "I don't think he will survive this. You must have hope though. There is aproximatly a 25% chance he will survive this. He just has to make it through the night and he will be better." He paused, gadging her reaction.

Annabeth had sunk against a wall, slouched down on the floor with her arms wrapped around her knees, and her head on her arms. She took a deep breath, and stood back up, fighting off tears.

"Let's go."

When they finally reach room 10, Annabeth reached for the door handle. She tried to keep a straight face as she walked into the room.

Percy was laying on the white bed sheets, a blanket over his legs. His face was pale, eyes closed, and blended with all the white wrappings on his body. Annabeth's breath caught in her throat as she choked on tears.

She sat next to him on the bed, and clutched his hand way too tight with her own. He opened up his eyes to look at her.

Those beautiful, perfect eyes. After tonight, she may never see them again.

She hiccuped, "Hey there, Seaweed Brain. You've gotten yourself in a lot of trouble."

He tried to smile, but it looked more like a grimace. "When haven't I?" He replied in a quiet, gravely voice.

Annabeth chuckled.

They talked about this and that for a while. Annabeth had sitten back down next to him, after calling all their friends to tell them what happened, Annabeth broke the silence.

"Percy, you know how we've been trying." Annabeth said quietly.

He nods.

"We have succeeded."

Percy blinked.

"Wait a minute. Did you just tell me your pregnant or did the drugs they are giving me make me imagine it?"

"It's real." She took his hand and carefully placed it on her stomach.

"We're gonna need a bigger house..." He mumbled.

She laughed. "How about that house on the hillside we always talked about. Where we would stay there, forever and always."

Ever since the proposal, that was their saying now.

Forever and always.

Percy coughed, making him jerk upwards. He brought his arm away from his face and she saw the red stains on his arm.

She knew that in her heart, he wasn't going to survive this. Coughing blood was always a negative sign.

"We're never going to get married..." He says, his voice trembling. He too knew that he wasn't going to survive.

Then, Annabeth got an idea.

She pushed the button to call the nurse. She soon comes rushing in.

"What is it?" She asks, slightly breathless.

"I need you to bring all of the nurses you can in here." Annabeth said.

The nurse gave her a quizical look, then turned around to round up all the nurses.

Annabeth stood up and went next door to the room beside them. There was a friendly couple that had come in earlier to give them their condolences and said that if they needed anything, to 'just ask'.

"Mr. and Mrs. Fletcher, can we borrow your wedding bands quickly."

The Fletchers both smiled and gave her their rings. They both followed her back to Percy's room. Annabeth called over Chiron and all her friends from the waiting room. She brought their small group of friends and Chiron to the room as well.

When Annabeth sat back down in the now very crowded room, Percy asked, "Anna, what are you doing?"

Annabeth turned to Chiron. "Can you elope us?"

Chiron smiled, "Of course child."

Annabeth turned back to Percy and he grinned at her.

Chiron started the ceremony, and all Annabeth could do was stare at Percy, knowing that his end was drawing near. His heart rate was slowing down, and his breathing was getting shallow. It was getting harder to stay awake. Everyone was laughing a little at some of the memories Chiron was saying. There were tears in everyone's eyes.

"Annabeth, please say your vows."

Percy coughed again, and looked at Annabeth.

"I'll want you forever and always. Through the good, and the bad, and the ugly. To grow old together, and always remember, whether we're happy or say or whatever. To still love each other, forever and always."

She finished the vows, but the beeps are getting to slow. His voice is almost too low as he says, "I'll love you forever and always. Please just remember even if I'm not there, I'll always love you, forever and always."

They slid their rings on each others fingers.

"You may now kiss the bride."

Annabeth leans in and kisses him.

When she pulls away, his eyes slide close, and the beeping stops.

He's gone.

Oh god, I'm crying as I write this. I hope you all liked this chapted. Again, the song is called, Forever and Always by Parachute. Please listen to it, it's a beautiful song.

GEEK ON!
