''Laura, be careful!'' Gabby complained as her sister in law pulled her hair again to put it up, curling it and Gabby looked in the mirror. Although she knew she still had time enough, she was nervous. Nervous for the day that was going to come, but the day that would also be the most memorable day of her life. Months ago, she hadn't even dared to dream about today.

After putting her hair up, finishing it with a small silver crown and Gabriela smiled. She looked like the bride she had always hoped to be. The bride she had hoped to look like. Hopefully Matt would find it pretty too. The strapless white dress was hanging on her closet, but Laura told her to sit down in the chair as she did her make-up.

''You looked wonderful.'' Laura said as Gabriela had her make-up and hair done, The beautiful woman was even prettier now and she felt proud, as Gabriela had always felt like a younger sister to her, as she had started dating Antonio when they were 17 and Gabriela was only seven years old. It felt like her own little sister was marrying today.

Finally Matt and she were getting married after they had been through the last few months and she was so happy for them.

''Is Matt going in uniform?'' Laura asked as she helped Gabby in her dress.

''Yeah, I mean, I asked him. I said I'd love it if he did. I think he will.'' Gabby said with a smile. They had been waiting for today for so long and they had been through a lot. But today was their day.

''How do I look?'' Matt asked as he straightened the jacket of the uniform in the mirror and Kelly sighed.

''You look fine. Let Gabby shine you fabulous bastard.'' Kelly said as it was time to go and Matt smirked.

''Shit, my f-flower-pin-thing.'' Matt cursed as he couldn't find it. He had put it somewhere here as Kelly had been dressing himself and he would put it on his uniform later. Gabby had insisted he would have one on his uniform.

''It's just a detail, relax.'' Kelly said as Matt was getting so stressed and worried.

''Gabby w-will notice.''

A car honked outside.

''Herrmann, to pick you up, just go, okay! I will fix it!'' Kelly said as he pushed Matt outside. Matt was brought to the chapel they were having their wedding and nervous Matt got ready. Hee was zo nervous, he wanted everything to be perfect for Gabby. He killed the time and as the visitors were entering he greeted them and walked to the altar, looking at Kelly with a deep nervous smile. He wanted to ask his friend about the boutonniere but before he could, the music they had picked started. Instead of the cliché bride songs they had chosen the instrumental classic version of a rock song.

Matt took a deep breath as the music started and he waited for Gabby to appear, he couldn't wait to see her as she had kept her outfit a complete secret and he looked at Antonio on the first row, sticking his thumb up and Matt looked up, Gabby walking there, holding her dad's arm and he tried to keep the tears from coming as she was so beautiful. The strapless white dress looked so great and she looked so beautiful. Antonio started crying as she looked at his sister and Diego looked up at him, teased him for crying. But Antonio was so happy for his sister and she looked so pretty, he couldn't help but

Matt smiled as Gabby stood in front of him, suddenly she grabbed something from her bouquet. His boutonniere. Kelly almost sighed proud as he had found Gabby in time to give it to her before coming to late himself and Gabby just smiled at Matt as she pinned it on his uniform.

''You look w-wonderful.'' he whispered in her ear and they turned around for the ceremony.

" Married couples owe each other true-openheartedness, aid and assistance. They are obliged to give each other what is necessary. So, you can depend upon each other: everywhere and under all circumstances. Bride and groom, sometimes we just for a moment hold someone's hand. To seek support or to give support. With a handshake we express our feelings. With this handshake of today, you will presently put down your feelings about staying together, through thick and thin, for better and for worse; in happy and sad times. In the danger you both face every day. In the danger you have already faced and the though roads you have already gone. Although it hasn't been easy, we are standing here today. So what are we waiting for?'' The woman said and Gabby and Matt laughed. Shay had arranged the ceremony and this was just right, keeping it short and cute. Shay and Kelly looked at each other behind the woman, Leslie as Gabriela's maid of honour and Kelly as Matt's best man.

A loud cry sounded and Gabriela looked backward as her mom cried even louder.

''Matthew Alan Casey, do you solemnly declare to take Gabriela Maria Dawson as your wife and do you vow to fulfill all obligations, which are connected by law in matrimony? What is your answer?''

Matthew looked at Gabriela and smiled at his beautiful bride; ''I d-do.''

'' Gabriela Maria Dawson, do you solemnly declare to take Matthew Alan Casey as your husband and do you vow to fulfill all obligations, which are connected by law in matrimony? What is your answer?''

''I do.''

NOTE: Part one of the wedding! I hope you liked this first part. Ofcourse there is a part two with a reception and ofcourse they are going to party, too! There was a minor problem with the wedding, with Matt losing the pin but luckily Severide figured it out in time! That's a best man right there.
