Chapter 12

" Hazel, why aren't you working? Were you trying to get away from work?" A stern voice spoke.

Reluctantly, I turn round to see Akito with his brows furrowed in speculation. His icy eyes were piercing, I found myself unable to look away as they held my full attention.

" Well... Sir my uniform was..." Hesitantly, I tried to explain the circumstances however under his harrowing gaze, words failed to form from my mouth.

" Hazel! You haven't danced with your daddy yet!" The happy-go-lucky host club king announced completely ignorant to the stained atmosphere surrounding the conversation. " Your daddy is supposed to have the first dance with his daughter!"

Instantly, Akito changed his tune as he suddenly switched to his more serene demeanor. He plastered an artificial, business-like smile on his face which didn't reach the coldness of his eyes. His hand was out stretched for a handshake.

" Allow me to introduce myself, I am Akito Tokinawa the chairman of the Tokinawa Corporation. If I am correct, you must be Tamaki Suoh?" His voice had lost all its firmness as he greeted Tamaki in a calm tone.

For once, Tamaki had lost all the playfulness in his eyes and maturely he held the Akito's hand shaking it firmly. " Indeed I am Sir. Would you happen to know my father?"

Lightly, he withdrew his hand from Tamaki's and he stared at Tamaki, his eyes studying Tamaki as he judged him. " Yes I do. Your father is a fine man."

Despite Akito's penetrating stare looking directly at him, Tamaki wasn't backing down as he gently flashed his charismatic smile. " I'm glad you think so. I'm sure that he would be glad to hear comments from someone as such as yourself."

" Thank you. You have been raised well. You are such a... polite boy." Akito raised a brow as he continued to inspect Tamaki.

" Thank you. This is certainly a wonderful party. Your staff have been very helpful especially Hazel. She's made sure that me and my friends are enjoying the time at your estate. She's even danced with Kyoya Ootori and Kaoru Hitachiin this evening."

Akito's poker face was stripped away as he gazed at me in disbelief. Then Akito returned back to his business-like state. " I'm glad you are enjoying yourself. If you will excuse me, I need to have a private word with her."

Understandingly, Tamaki nodded and bid farewell to Akito. He lowered his voice and spoke with urgency. " Do you really know the Suoh, Ootori and Hitachiin boys?"

I was sightly taken back at his suddenness but I still managed to respond with a nod.

" This could be very beneficial for the company so keep the guests happy. I need you to dance with the Suoh boy. You will be paid extra for your work."

Dutifully, I responded, " Yes sir."

" Good. Now get going." He turned his back and headed back to his wife.

Did I really hear him right? At least I will be paid extra! This is really convenient! This way I will definitely be able to pay the rent! I almost feel like thanking Monica for throwing that drink on me. If she hadn't have done I would have been stuck in that horrible uniform al night serving drinks!

" Can daddy finally have a dance with his daughter?" Tamaki asked beaming.

At his bright expression, I grinned as I spoke, " Yes you can!"

He took my hand immediately as he rushed to the centre of the dance floor. In his princely fashion, he started to lead me into graceful twist and turns.

" I'm so proud of my daughter! You can dance so well!" He gushed happily.

" I doubt that. You should have seen me with Kaoru earlier; that was a different story. I stood on his foot."

Joyfully, he smiled as he spoke causally, " Well, you have definitely improved! So who's your favourite?"

I almost flinched. Surely, he didn't know anything! At first, it's Kyoya and now it's Tamaki! Are my feelings for Kaoru that obvious?

" F-favourite what do you mean?" I asked in a dreading tone as I began to stiffen up.

" Well, everyone has a favourite host! So who's your favourite?"

Instantly, I let out a breath that I hadn't realised I had been holding in. I was panicking over nothing! Tamaki wouldn't be that observant, would he?

" I think it would be Haruhi. I can easily relate to her."

" I think having you around with Haurhi is a good thing and that way she can contact her more feminine side!" Tamaki grinned at the thought.

" Umm... Sorry to ruin your happy mood but I'm not really a girly girl."

" Nonsense! I bet your closet is full of pretty dresses."

I grimanced at the thought. If I told him I mainly wore baggy hoodies and dark jeans, it would burst his bubble.

" I might have a few..."

" Aww. I bet you would look so cute! Now I want to see Haruhi in a dress!" He said in a daze. The dance drew to a close as soft, long notes lingered in the air. Out of tiredness, I yawned loudly. Spending the day with the host club is definitely exhausting.

" I really need a break." I spoke to myself. Unfortunately for me Tamaki heard this.

" If you need a break, the host club are going away for the weekend!" He beamed, clearly showing he wanted me to go.

Curiosity got the better of me, as without a thought, I asked, " Where are you going anyway?"

Immediately, Tamaki looked confused by the question, " I don't know." Then, he sunk in his depressed state.

" Thanks for trying to make me feel better by inviting me out. It's nice of you to."

Much to my own shock, Tamaki grabbed my hands, his eyes pleading, as he asked, " Is there anywhere where you want to go?"

" I haven't been camping for a while... Wait! Forget I even said anything. It's too much hassle."

" Camping? I've never been camping!" He shouted excitedly and some of the people nearby turned to look at us. Their gazes were intimidating. As a result, I dragged Tamaki away to escape their judging looks.

" You've never been camping?" I asked in disbelief. He shook his head. I continued speaking, " I suppose you want me to tell you what kind of things you can do while camping?"

Eagerly, he nodded. I sighed as I thought he was like an overexcited child.

" It's a lot of fun! You can play games like hide and seek and capture the flag. During the day, you could go hiking and you might see some animals. If you're lucky there might be a lake or stream nearby so you could swimming or go fishing. Oh! And at night, you can have a campfire to tell creepy stories or eat toasted marshmallows! The sky is really clear at night so you can see stars or even fireflies!" I explained as I steadily grew more excited.

" That sounds like so much fun!" He exclaimed.

" What sounds like fun?" Questioned Kyoya as he strolled over carrying his all important notebook in his hand.

" Kyoya, let's go camping! We need to become one with nature!"

The shadow king frowned and sent chilling glares in my direction.

" I suppose you're the one who put the idea in his head." He stated. Hesitantly, I smiled and laughed awkwardly as I was now under the wrath of the shadow king.

" What's going on over here?" Two doppelgängers appeared from thin air, scaring me.

" You need to stop doing that!" I shrieked.

" Doing what?" They asked nonchalantly.

" Let's go on a camping trip!" Tamaki cheered.

" Camping?" They tilled their heads to the side in confusion.

" Has any of you ever been camping at all?"

They were silent. I suppose I shouldn't be surprised so much they probably go out of the country for most trips away from home.

" Since I am the king of the host club all the decision ! It's a new experience for the host club!" The king announced. The twins joined in on the cheer.

" So I hear you guys are going camping." A soft voice spoke. Nanami walked over towards us with an elegant aura surrounding her.

" Yes and Hazel is coming with us!" He exclaimed.

" Since when did I agree to this?!" Why am I always dragged into anything by him?

" I'm sorry but Hazel wouldn't be able to go." She stated sadly.

" Why not?" Tamaki's voice dropped in disappointment.

" She has already had a lot of time of this month and can't afford anymore time off. But there is a solution."

"There is!" The king beamed in hope.

" Yes. If I came along and requested the use of a personal maid, Hazel could come along."

Instantly, he agreed. " Of course you can come along. The more the merrier!"

" Great." She flashed her ravishing smile at him as the plans were set in stone. One thing was dwelling in my mind at that moment. Why would Nanami want to come along? She hates anything involving the outdoor and freaks out dramatically at the sight of any moving bug.

Behind me, I could feel a eerie aura emitting from the shadow king. Reluctantly, I turned to look at Kyoya and unexpectedly, he had a dark smirk across his face.

" Hazel, I hope you have just realised that you have made things much worse for yourself."

Instinctively, I gulped. Just what does this guy have planned?!

...

Fortunately for me, Kyoya hadn't seemed to have anything suspicious hidden up his sleeve, but it's hardly a time to relax. Tests are coming up in a month and I need to start revising now if I want to remember anything while dealing with work. Either way, I can't let my guard down even for a second because the moment I do will be the moment that Kyoya Ootori will put whatever devious plan he has into action.

Everything seems normal but there was one strange post it note stuck to my desk, with neat, sophisticated handwriting on it. It said ' pick up a parcel from the drama club's storage and bring it to the front of the building. This must be completed after school.' Sure, I have been asked to collect things before but never from the drama club.

Once I was handed the package, it was surprisingly heavy. I wonder what's inside? For a moment I stopped to adjust my grip on the rectangular box. But in that second, I let my guard down. Things took a turn for the worse.

Pounding footsteps got closer towards me and before I knew it I was swept away by a two pairs of arms. Instantly, I begin to panic as I couldn't see the people's faces.

" Let me go!"

My surroundings had began to blur at the fast pace I was being dragged away at. After numerous twists and turns and my non stop struggling, my kidnappers paused once we reach the gate of the campus.

" We brought her here!" Two distinctive voices arms released me from their iron like grip and I spin round to the see the raven haired shadow king with his window reeled down, sitting inside his fancy limo.

" Good work you two now make sure she doesn't go anywhere. After all, she has a job to do."

He smiled his fake smile which left me feeling apprehensive about what this 'job' was. Against my will, I was shoved into the limo by my identical kidnappers.

The door was slammed as the twins departed saying, " See you there Kyoya-senpai."

Awkwardly, I sat in silence and all that could be heard was Kyoya's fingertips rapidly hitting the keys on his laptop. His movements were almost robotic and it seemed as if he was in a trance. To preoccupy myself, I fiddle with the hem of the dress as I was thinking about how to start a conversion without getting myself into any further trouble with him.

" You don't have to be so nervous. It's a simple job." The suddenness of his voice made me flinch. He says simple but I bet there will be some kind of twist.

" Master Kyoya, we have arrived." The driver announced dutifully.

Firmly, he shut up his laptop and strode out of the limo. With difficulty, I shuffled out of the limo trying not to drop the package. I was fumbling about trying to keep up with Kyoya as he was already at the entrance of the building. Before me, stood a majestic metallic building which was surrounded by vivid greenery. What kind of building was this and what what kind of job am I doing in a place like this?!

Hurriedly, I ran to catch up and after walking through the reception, I was shocked into speechlessness. The inside is completely different from the outside! Exotic shrubs and tall trees which resembled a rainforest, was filled with bizarre creatures calling out, creating a alluring utopia. There shouldn't be a place like this in Japan!

" I don't think I'm in Japan anymore." I murmured in wonder.

" This is a resort my family has built for all the busy workers who don't have time to go away on holiday and at this resort people can relax and unwind." He answered in a matter of fact tone.

" I thought your family specialised in medicine and hospitals."

" We do and the resort is built for that purpose. It's supposed to be therapeutic."

" Right and where do I come into all this?"

Immediately, he smirked at my question. Straight away, I regretted saying that. His fraudulent smile was unsettling as it wasn't often he smiled like that.

" It's simple really all you have to do is welcome the guests and serve some taiyaki to promote the opening of the new aquarium."

" Right, I'll go and get started then!" I was rushing to get away so I didn't have to find out what else he had in store for me. A firm hand landed on my shoulder preventing me from traveling any further.

" Not so fast." His glasses seemed to gleam sharply as I turned to met his gaze. " I'm sure by now you have been tempted to open the package so now you can open it."

By the tone of his voice, I wasn't so sure I wanted to open it anymore. But under the pressure I crumbled and with one glance inside I quickly shut it back up.

" NO WAY! I'M NOT DRESSING UP!" I protested.

" You don't have a choice." In his left hand, he held up his phone. " You still want to see the photo don't you?"

This is so unfair! Why do I always end up in humiliating situations?

" You only made this worse for yourself especially after putting the camping trip idea into Tamaki's head."

" So this is your way of getting revenge? By putting me in that thing!"

" If that's the way you want to see it, then yes." He stated nonchalantly.

This guy is a true shadow king! No! He is THE shadow king! There is no way out. I will just have to wear the stupid thing.

10 minutes later...

Defeated, I trudged out of the changing room in low spirits. This costume is so degrading. I don't know if my maid uniform is as bad as this. Kyoya's face lit up at the sight of me.

" Don't worry, in my opinion, you make a great penguin." His voice was thick with sarcasm.

Before him I stood in the monstrous black and white suit with a large bulge for a beak that rested above my head. On the top of the head, the suit had large cartoon-like eyes and at my feet I had to wear a hideous yellow flippers. To complete the outfit there was a scarlet coloured bow tie to add comic value.

" Here is your taiyaki stand and you have to greet the customers."

Begrudged, I started to fry the batter filled with red bean paste. The first customers was a mother and child.

" Mama, there is a penguin cooking taiyaki!" The boy said excitedly dragging his mother.

Lowly, Kyoya whispered, " Don't upset any of the customers with your mood. I don't think you want to disappoint children, do you?"

" Yes, sir!"

" Hi there. Would you like to try some of our taiyaki?" I greeted as I beamed my best smile.

The boy's cheeks reddened a little and his eyes grew wide at the sight of the food.

" Yes please! It smells really good!" I gestured for him to take a sample of the platter in my first, he was hesitant but soon he popped a piece of pastry in his mouth and his eyes lit up in happiness. " Wow! It's so good! Mama please can I have one?"

" Yes you can as long as you promise to eat it all."

" Yay!" The boy cheered joyfully as I handed him the treat. The mother rummaged through her purse, collecting the spare change and handed it over to Kyoya.

" Be careful, it's a little hot still." I warned him gently.

" Thank you, Miss Penguin!"

Sweetly, I smiled at him, " You're welcome." This kid is adorable! I wish I had a younger sibling I bet it would be fun. Before they left, they waved and I waved back.

" You did well for your first customer but you still have more customers to serve." Kyoya stated. I turned and frowned at him. Is he trying to make this job more unbearable than it already is?

Smoothly for the first two hours the flow of customers was fairly steady but in the third hour of work, a never-ending queue seemed to form before me. During that time it took a while to realise that Kyoya had disappeared. The time seemed to drag as I was almost unable to stand the heat; not only was the costume heavy and keeping all the heat in but all the heat from the cooker didn't help either. My movements were almost robotic as I repeated the routine of taking the order, completing an order and handing over the order. It was so tiring but it was worth it to see some of the children's and customers faces lit up as soon as they took a bite.

" Excuse me but could you tell me what kind of flavours do you have for the taiyaki?" A cute, childish voice called out.

" Of course! We have custard or red bean..." As I glance down to see the person's face, I found myself having to look again to see it was a certain blond haired, chocolate coloured eyed boy stood in front of me. " HONEY-SENPAI! What... Why?"

" Oh, it's Haz-chan! Kyo-chan invited us to see the aquarium! Please can I have a red bean paste taiyaki?"

" Sure!" Fluidly, I moved to start cooking the pastry. I'm not in the least bit surprised at Kyoya inviting Honey here. I bet he did this so he would make a fuss about me dressing up. " Here you go, senpai."

" Wow, thanks Haz-chan it tastes really good!"

" I'm glad you like it. When you said Kyoya invited us, did you mean the whole host club?"

" Yeah! I can't wait the see all the kinds of fish they have at the aquarium!"

Internally, I started to panic. All of them are here! If Tamaki sees me he probably would be happy to see his 'little girl' dressed up and I wouldn't be able to escape. I definitely don't want Kaoru to see me like this! Kyoya didn't supply the most flattering of costumes after all. There's nothing worse than the person you like seeing you in an embarrassing costume! Then right on cue, the dazzling hosts started to walk over.

" This taiyaki stand must be good if Kyoya-senpai is recommending it." Hikaru spoke.

" That's true he rarely recommends anything." Kaoru added.

I swear Kyoya will be the death of me! There's no way to escape.

" Oh look there's a penguin! Come on Haruhi let's say hello to the penguin." Tamaki spoke over excited.

" Calm down senpai! People will start to stare at us." Protested Haruhi.

" Look Honey-senpai is over there. Hey, Honey-senpai!" Hikaru started to shout. As they started to get closer I turned around.

" Hi everyone! Takashi, you'll never guess who the penguin is!" Honey ran up to them shouting wildly and then, he clung onto Mori. Great, I'm about to humiliated again! " Come on guess!"

" There's no way Kyoya would dress up as a penguin." Tamaki spoke thoughtfully. Once he said that, I immediately imagined Kyoya as a penguin and scoffed at the thought. The shadow king dressed up as a cute flightless bird. There's no way he would do that.

" It wouldn't be Hazel. She has to work for Nanami. But Kyoya did want her for some reason." Kaoru suggested. Why did he immediately think of me?!

Playfully, Honey laughed, " See for yourselves!"

Simultaneously, all the hosts turned their heads and looked in shock as they caught my gaze.

" HAZEL!" They shouted in unison.

" So I was right!" Kaoru gasped.

Awkwardly, I smiled holding up a pan saying, " Would you like some taiyaki?"

" Aw! You look so cute in that suit!" The enthusiastic host club king ambushed me in a tight hug.

" Why are you dressed in that suit?" Haruhi asked.

" Umm... Kyoya-senpai asked me to do this job to promote the opening of the aquarium." There was no way I was going to tell them about the kiss and that image. Haruhi didn't seem fully convinced but she didn't question me any further.

" Something seems fishy." The twins spoke.

" Don't go making bad puns like that!" I know they like to make jokes but that's bad even for them.

"We're not making a joke. It's weird to think that Kyoya would give you a job unless you owed him something or you want something from him." Kaoru explained. How does he easily catch onto stuff like that?

" I asked her to do this job as she's used to serving people and I would be a fool if I didn't put that to use." Kyoya appeared suddenly making me flinch. " You don't have to serve anyone anymore."

My depressed mood from earlier took a turn for the better at the mention of the words. Just as I was ready to sprint of to the changing rooms I was stopped.

" Not so fast. I still have another job for you."

I turned around and started at him in horror. He must like to torture people emotionally! His fake smile returned as he adjusted his glasses. Strangely, Kyoya was carrying a bucket and he gestured for me to take it. Nervously, with my flipper-like hand I reached out to hold onto the bucket as I was slightly curious what was inside. Immediately I pulled my face at the sight of raw fish.

" Who casually hands someone dead fish?!" I asked in disbelief.

" It's for your next job. We're short staffed and someone needs to feed the penguins." He replied.

" Wow, you're so lucky, Haz-chan! You'll be a big penguin hanging out with all the little penguins!" Beamed Honey happily.

" I know I've always wanted to feed penguins but I don't think I want to be one as I feed them."

Kyoya pointed, " If you go in that direction, you'll find the penguin exhibit. It's time to get on with your job."

Unwillingly, I walked in the direction he pointed holding the bucket with two hands. Surprisingly, the bucket was heavy and I plodded all the way there. Curious gazes were on me at all times as I entered through the back of the exhibit which a nearby worker opened it for me. At the click of the door, the feathered creatures turned their heads in my direction and their eyes seemed to glow in glee. A dominant penguin called loudly and they all dived towards me. They gathered around me in a circle formation. For penguins, they were well organised.

One by one, they opened their curved beaks demanding to be fed. Hesitantly, I held out the slippery substance from the bucket. Greedily, a couple of penguins tried to fight over the first fish. Their calls became wild as they saw the food being handed out. Some of the younger, fluffier penguins had slid through the crowd and cautiously, they waddled towards me. They are adorable and they were more polite than their adult counterparts. A felt a soft nudge against my leg. Quickly I glance to see one of them had walked into me .Gently I rubbed its head unable to resist the touch of its feathery body.

To some extent, despite being flocked by at least dozen of penguins, I somehow manage to enjoy myself. The havoc calmed down once the adults had been fed and once the bucket was empty I tried to escape from the exhibit. One of the baby penguins started to unsteadily run in my direction. Once it reached me, it stopped. As soon as I took a couple of steps, the penguin followed me along with a couple of others. Then, I broke out into a run towards the door. Hot on my heels, more penguins started to trail after me with their wings flared and running on their unsteady feet.

Instantly, I panic as I sprint towards the door. Luckily they were far behind and I touch the brass handle on the door, in hopes of escape, however that didn't happen. As I pulled on the handle, the door remained in the same position. That can't be right, it should be open. Repeatedly, I pushed the handle as far as it would go pushing frantically against the door but it wouldn't budge. Who would lock the door?!

At the door, I was defeated as the penguins had closed the distance between us as they stopped obediently by my feet. One of them tugged on the flipper urging me to stay. At their request, I go to the centre of the enclosure and seated myself on the cold hard floor. An innocent looking, fluffy penguin seated itself in my lap as the others gathered around huddling. I knew penguins were sociable creatures but since when were they so close to humans?

Defeated, I sighed. I wonder how long it will take for someone to find me. With my bad luck, I will probably be stuck here until their next feeding time.

" Hey Mama, it's a big penguin with a lot of little penguins!" A little girl squealed in delight. Her mother chuckled softly.

It didn't take long for visitors to start flocking around the exhibit, gazing in wonder and curiosity. This isn't good for someone like me, who hates being the centre of attention. I must be some kind of penguin whisperer.

Fortunately for me, familiar voice called out, " Look Takashi! It's Haz-chan with the penguins! Wow, see how they're gathering around her!"

"Yeah." Mori agreed.

" Honey-senpai! Mori-senpai! Help me!" For once, I had never been so relieved to see someone from the host club.

" Do you want help with the penguins?" Honey asked excitedly with his eyes glowing brightly.

" Are you hanging out with some new friends?" The twins teased as they appeared by the barrier.

" No! I can't get out! Someone locked the door!"

" Men, we need to save her! After all that's what any good father would do for his daughter!" Tamaki declared.

" We'll get the keys. Head towards the door." Haruhi shouted.

In response, I nodded. Stiffly, I rose from my sitting position, holding the penguin close so it didn't get hurt. As I lowered it to the ground, it hesitantly put its feet on the floor. With their beady eyes the penguins looked at me as I started to move. Yet again, they started to follow me. In an attempt to lose my pursuers, I took a turn towards the water, then, I stopped as soon as I reached the edge of the ledge and I lost some of them as they slid into the water clumsily. In triumph, I turned to walk away but I immediately slipped and hit the body of water at an alarmingly fast rate. My vision grew hazy as a result of the aftermath of the fall. Desperately, I kicked my limbs until I reached the surface.

As soon as I emerged, I was wheezing, gasping for air. Weakly, I clung to the side of a rock, trying to slow down my racing heart. To my shock, a small net was place over me.

" Look I caught a penguin!" Cheered Honey.

" Mitsukuni, I don't think that's helping the situation." Explained Mori calmly.

The only caring people seemed to be Tamaki and Haruhi as she offered me a hand an Tamaki start to fuss saying, " Oh no! My daughter fell in! Are you alright?"

Shakily, I nod unable to speak. As I shifted my weight from to the rock, I clung on to Haruhi's hand with all my might, she clearly struggled to lift me out of the to hold on any longer I let go and grabbed the rock.

" Something smells fishy." Joked the twins as they wandered over at a casual pace.

" Now isn't... the time to be making... jokes." I was supposed to sound harsh but I kept coughing and my voice was barely audible.

" Fine, we'll help you. Only if you say please." Hikaru teased.

" Please."

They reached up my arms and yanked me out of the water.

" Wow, you're heavy." Complained Hikaru.

Frustrated, I blushed and tried to shout, " I'm not that heavy! It's the suit!"

" Of course it is." He replied.

" I just want to get out of here. I have enough penguin ordeals today." I huffed. With Hikaru and Kaoru supporting me, I started to walk step by step unsteadily as my arms were around their shoulders.

" Mitsukuni, it's time to go." Mori told Honey, who had been playing with the young penguins. Straight away, Honey got up from his kneeling position and ruffled a penguin on the head as he ran to catch up.

Stood in the doorway, was the shadow king twirling the keys around his index finger.

" You did a great job attracting all those customers. You should work here again." He commented.

As calmly as I could I spoke," No thank you." I hope he had nothing to do with that locked door.

All I wanted was to be at home resting in bed. They accompanied me all the way to the changing room to make sure I made it in one piece. Thankfully, Kyoya handed me some bath products and towels. I didn't question on how he got anything after all he seems to be able to get anything at any time. Finally, after a long day I was out of that monstrous thing. After a long shower, I am glad to say I no longer smell of fish! I swear after seeing nothing but fish all day, if someone mentions anything else fish related I may lose my mind. Once I collected my things, I headed out and the host club were still stood waiting.

" You waited all this time?"

" Yeah! We wouldn't leave one of us behind!" Tamaki cheered.

" Thanks for waiting." I smiled at them.

Widely, Honey opened his mouth as he yawned tiredly. He was adorable as he rubbed his eyes slowly.

" We all better get going, it's getting late." Kaoru said checking the time on his phone. Mori scooped Honey up into his arms and Honey curled up into his chest. He gave a silent farewell and headed off. Tamaki had took Haruhi hostage as he was determined to escort his little girl home and I declined his offer to take me home as I wanted to speak to Kyoya. As the twins were about to leave, much to my surprise Kaoru put a hand on my head.

" I'm glad you're okay." At that moment my heart seemed to thump louder and louder as my face started to heat up. He turned to leave with Hikaru.

Loudly, Hikaru spoke, " We should have sushi tonight."

Instantly, I groaned at the mention of fish. Kyoya appeared next to me.

" You should be more careful if you don't want him to find out your feelings." He lectured.

" I know that but he's so unpredictable that I don't know what to do. Now I kept up my side of the bargain, show me the image." I demanded.

" I'm afraid I can't do that." He spoke.

My anger flared up and I narrowed my eyes at him. " Why?! Haven't I been humiliated enough? I'm not here for your own personal entertainment!"

Cooly, he stood in front of me," I don't currently have the image with me."

" Fine but you have to show me at the camping trip. Will you keep your word?"

" I will have it ready for then."

" Thank you."

I didn't wait for a response and I walked away. As much as I'm looking forward to this trip at weekend, I can't help but feel that everything isn't going to go smoothly as I would hope.
