Chapter 6: Christmas Cookies

Bubbles POV

Every Time winter comes, I remember, that first christmas alone, without my parents

"wow!" stated Bubbles "You look amazing Blossom!"

Dear Ms Lulu

Christmas at Seika Academy. The A-Class has a presintation

The main event is Blossom's fashion show.

There are aspiring stylists and make-up artists working really hard!

and my job is-

"Bubbles! bring me paint!" Said a girl "I need the thread and needle Bubbles! like now!" Said another

-doing all the grunt work...

Normal POV

"What the hell is this!?" yelled Boomer "Stay still Boomer!" called out a girl she stepped out from behind glaring daggers at him. "Ruin it and you're dead!" It was a girl with Black hair and emerald eyes . she was wearing the school uniform, adding her own touch to it. skulls and a bunch of green "Well sorry!" Muttered Boomer, staying as still as he could while the girl worked. Blossom came over and hugged Boomer by his arm. The raven haired girl mumbled curses as she was interrupted, again, and stepped back a bit. "The theme of the fashion show is 'winter princess' We need a prince." Stated Blossom. Bubbles looked over 'oh right, Boomer's in the show too' she thought to herself just as Blaze came in with a wide grin " You look good Boom~" he said mockingly. Bubbles and Boomer turned around "President Blaze" She said while Boomer glared at him then looked at Blossom "You should make him do these kinds of things!" He said while pointing at Blaze "That show-off!" he muttered after. Blossom paused, as if in thought "But Blaze is too busy. He has to close out the presentation you know."

Ruby and Mandy instantly went over to him "you're going to do it this year too? Your piano performance." Said Ruby, Mandy looked at him dreamily while stating "It's so dreamy. I look forward to it every year!" Bubbles looked over curiously " You're going to play the piano President Blaze?" Blaze smiled down at her and nodded his head " I hope you'll come here it" he said. Bubbles grinned and nodded her head "Of course!" Bubbles looked up at him with a smile while thinking 'wow! that's so him!' All the girls in the class looked over, half glaring at Bubbles. When Blaze left, Ruby asked. "Hey Bubbles, what are you planning to do?" The other girls laughed "Eat all the Christmas cake?" Stated Mandy "Or eat how about chicken?" Said another girl.

Ruby giggled "Please don't!" She looked up at Bubbles with a smirk "You'll make our class look bad." Bubbles stopped to think 'that's right' she thought to herself. 'performing and show casting. Everyone's working to do something this Christmas' She looked around at everyone then let out a sigh ' I'm... left out of it.. Although it's Christmas' Bubbles was about to leave when she was stopped by Blossom "Bubbles." she said making her turn around "Blossom?" Bubbles looked at her curiously as Blossom started " if you're not doing anything, do you want to be in my show?" Bubbles gasped "In the fashion show?!" Blossom nodded her head " I want to present a Christmas cake at the end, but I have no one to carry it on stage." Blossom smiled "I'll even lend you a dress! please?" Bubbles thought for a bit then nodded her head in agreement. Blossom led Bubbles up to her room and looked for a dress then asked her change into it. Once she was done, Bubbles stepped in front of Blossom's Vanity and looked at herself in shock "Wow!" She said as she leaned into the mirror. "This dress looks more expensive than a steak! are you sure I can wear it? " Blossom smiled while nodding her head "I'm sure everyone in the class will like it too." Blossom paused; watching Bubbles, then said "can I ask you to make the cake too? a really fancy one." Bubbles smiled at and nodded her head "No Problem!"

'I'm so happy. it's like I became a princess! I can participate in Christmas too!' Bubbles thought as she baked the cake. When she was finished she decorated it and made it look like a sculpture made of frosting. "Hey, How the hell are you suppose to eat that?" Muttered Boomer, as he looked at the cake. Bubbles giggled "No Silly, this is a cake for the show!" She smiled at him "I made it fancy to match the special class! I just need to put the ribbons and I'm done~" Bubbles giggled as she did a small childish curtsy "I'm going to participate in the show too~ I'll see you on stage prince~" Boomer shivered then shook his head "These kind of things don't fit you Bubbles" He said. Bubbles pouted then stuck her tongue out at him "Yeah, because I'm a monkey!" She then made her way to the door. "That's not what I meant!" Shouted Boomer "I'm going to get the ribbons" She said, ignoring Boomer as he shouted a "hey!" Boomer sighed once she was out. Then went over to the girl from before who was still mad that they hadn't let her finish her work "Boomer! Hurry up and get over here!" she shouted "Alright already! Geez Buttercup. Calm down!" He walked over and stood in his place as she finished up her work.

Meanwhile, the girls Ruby, and Mandy stood, glaring at the direction Bubbles had left through. "What's up with that?! " Stated Ruby "Hey Blossom, Didn't you already have Cantina make that cake for the show?" asked Mandy. Blossom's eyes started to water as she said "Yeah, I did, but she said she could make a cake much better than Cantina. s-so I... " The girls gasped then started to bicker " What? who does she think she is?! "Stated Mandy

"But Bubbles is good at baking" Stated Blossom

"You're too nice Blossom!" Said Ruby

"I bet she's trying to steal the spotlight!" said a girl

"I can't believe it!" said Ruby

Blossom watched, a grin appearing in her eyes. "a-and she wanted something in return so... she took that dress from me"

Bubbles, meanwhile, was looking at the different ribbons. She smiled as she picked a white one with pink and purple poke dots. 'I'll choose this one~" she said then dashed out of her room and back to the prep-room. When she got back, at the entrance of the glass doors was Bubbles' cake. She stopped and picked it up, sighing in relief when there were no ants around. "What's my cake-?" She then walked into the room and saw Mandy, Ruby and another girl, Mattie standing in front of a tall cake. Topped with plenty of strawberries. "Look at this! " stated Ruby "Cantina's cake is so much better!"

"We can't use a puny cake like hers" Says Mandy.

Bubbles looks at them in shock then runs in, holding her cake "w-wait!" She starts "what happened? what about my cake?" She stops as the girls turn to glare at her. "Don't kid yourself." Started Mandy "You think you're part of this class by making a cake?" She glared at her then reached forward, grabbing one of the ribbons of the dress. "This dress doesn't even look good on either!" and she pulled the ribbon making the strap snap. "No!" Bubbles said. She dropped her cake, holding the dress up so it doesn't fall. Everyone in the room turned to glace at the commotion. Bubbles knelt down in front of her cake with tears in her eyes. 'n-no. what should I do?' she thought to herself

"Bubb-" just as Boomer was going to run towards her, Buttercup pulled him back "don't you dare move Boomer!" and so Boomer watched as Blaze ran forward, covering Bubbles with a sheet. "Are you Okay?" He said. Bubbles looked up at him, the tears threaten to falling down her cheeks. "p-president..." she muttered as Blaze helped her up, then lead her out to the Four Leafed Diner. Once there, he gave her a cup of warm tea.

'I can't,..."She thought 'No matter what... I can't fit in with that class' Blaze sat nearby, watching her sip the tea. "Are you okay?" he asked. Bubbles giggled softly then nodded her head. "Yeah, I'm a klutz... I dropped the cake"

'It's like the Christmas i lost mom and dad...I'm all alone' Finally, the tears fell and she started crying. Blaze stood up, quickly walking over to her "Bubbles?"

"I want to go back" She said between sobs "the sky is so different from Viotown and I'm lonely too" She stopped to wipe her cheek but still kept crying "Why am I in the A class?" She covered her face, letting the tears fall 'I can't do it anymore..'

"I can't be one of the special people..." Blaze watched as Bubbles cried, he sat next to her and looked down, as if in thought. "Viotown... I went there when I was young.. it's a nice place, the stars are pretty..." Bubbles quickly stopped her sobbing and looked at Blaze. Tears rolled down her cheeks. "You know, small stars, large stars, they all shine equally bright in the night sky." He looked at her, a smile forming on his face "you have, your own way of shining" He paused then continued. "I don't think you need to be the same as them. and..." He landed forward, giving her a gentle kiss on her forehead. "tomorrow is everybody's Christmas." He leaned back, giving her another smile "Right?"

Bubbles blushed 'th-that's right' she thought to herself.

Outside, Boomer stood, listening to their every word. he left moments after. Bubbles smiled up at Blaze 'I forgot' she said simply, then she saw Blaze off and went to the kitchen. Brick and Butch looked at her from the door, Butch yawned as Brick said "How Long are you stayin'?" When Bubbles didn't give a reply Butch said "Well we're leavin'" And leave they did. Bubbles stayed up that night. working on something.

The next morning was Christmas! the day of the presentation. "Entry number 8! the winter princess fashion show!" Blossom came out on stage, wearing a simple crystal blue dress. then she changed and came back with a red Christmas dress with her long hair in two pigtails. The girls loved the show. Squealing and pointing out the outfits they liked or when Boomer came out with her. Finally, at the end of the show. Blossom came out with a white dress and holding a bouquet of white roses. "Great job Blossom!" Said Ruby right after the show had ended. "You were great!" Blossom smiled and gave her thanks then turned to Boomer "Boomer, Thank you for doing this for me." She said Boomer looked over while unbuttoning the jacket. "It's because I owe you" he said simply. Blossom smiled then glanced outside. "Hey Boomer, do you want to see the Christmas tree lights?" Boomer took the jacket off as he said "Nah, It's the same every year." He set his jacket down 'I guess she didn't come' he thought to himself. He then heard mutters and turned to see people pointing out "Hey look" said a girl "What?" Asked Blossom "The Tree" said a boy

Boomer and Blossom looked out and gasped. The tree was shining, brighter then ever but there was something else on it.

"Merry Christmas!" Bubbles yelled enthusiastically, she was wearing a red dress with white frills and a Santa hat. . Brick and Butch stood behind her both dressed in red Santa suits. Brick had his arms crossed while muttering "why me?" while Butch was grinning.

Boomer came out of the building with Blossom following after. "Hey, what is this?" He asked Bubbles just grinned "Boomer! I just remembered my way to shine" Boomer looked at her confused and just as he was about to ask what she meant. A girl shouted "Oh Look! the ornaments, they're cookies!"

Bubbles smiles and handed the girl a cookie while saying "Merry Christmas!" The girl looked up at Bubbles "I can have one?!" She asked and Bubbles nodded then she shouted "Elementary School Students! High School students! Class A and Class B. Its a present for everyone!" Everyone smiled and walked over to her. Bubbles handed everyone a cookie, Brick and Butch did the same, though Butch would occasionally flirt with the girls.

'I forgot what's important. What I wish for when I cook is to see the person eating it smile... that's my way to shine'

Everyone happy took cookies from Bubbles and the boys but three girls, Mandy, Ruby and Mattie didn't. "You don't want one? " Asked Brick "Uh no its okay" said Ruby, as kindly as she could.

Blossom left in a huff and Boomer looked at the display with a small grin

"Everyone! Merry Christmas!" Shouted Bubbles

"Hey Monkey!" Shouted Boomer, a grin etched on his face. "Everyone was happy, your idea was great!" Bubbles smiled "Thanks!" she said " President Blaze gave me a hint~!" Boomer Blinked while muttering "Brother did?" Just as he was about to ask, the speakers came to life, shouting "Everyone, thank you for waiting! Please enjoy the last performance of the show, the piano concert by the School President Blaze Miller!" The curtain opened with the sweet sounds of the Moonlight Sonata playing. Blaze was sitting at the piano. His eyes were closed but his fingers moved with the music. Bubbles looked at him. blushing 'I can still remember President Blaze's Kiss..'She thought to herself as she watched his playing '...If president Blaze is my prince... then I...' Bubbles blushed brighter at the thought. Meanwhile, Boomer was watching Bubbles. She didn't notice a pair of eyes on her.

After Blaze's Performance, another boy with black hair and glasses came up to the microphone. " And now we will announce the winner of the Christmas Presentation." The boy looked down while opening a small envelope " The winner is..." He paused to read the card and smiled while signaling towards Blossom "...the winter Princess Fashion Show!" Everyone clapped as her friend walked over "Congrats Blossom!" Said Ruby "We did it!" Said Mandy. Blossom smiled at them "Thank you!" she said. The boy then interrupted their chatting when he said "And this year, we have a special award from the director." He looked towards Bubbles " Bubbles Mc Neil's Ornament Cookies!" Bubbles looked over in shock. 'huh?' she said to herself as Mandy and Ruby turned to glare at the boy. "What?!" Said Mandy "Why Bubbles?!" Said Mattie "Hers wasn't even part of the presentation!" The boy looked between the three angry girls, trying his best to talk to them "I-I'm sorry!" He said "but the director decided this..." The three kept arguing while Bubbles was lost at thought 'The director... the person who let me into this academy...'

A voice interrupts their angry chatter and Bubbles train of thought "Yeah, I decided it." He said. 'I don't get it" thought Bubbles as she turned around to look at the director 'why..?' She looks up at Blaze, still in his composition suit with a small smile on his face 'President...Blaze?'

Yeah... Sorry!

I was busy with grad stuff... I graduated from high school so my family made a big deal -.-

My brother also 'graduated' from Middle School on the same week as me so it got super chaotic

well at least I don't have ta go to school till september~ Hooray hooray~

Well now I will keep my promise!

I will try to update as quickly as I can~!
