The team was inside and as it turned out, the information obtained from Rise's bios was enough for Teddie to sniff out the dungeon. When the team got there, it was initially dark. After Chie commented on how dark it was, it suddenly lit up. Yu was less than impressed.

On Thursday, the team actually hung out with each other because they knew that Rise was being guarded by Black Operations troops. When it was midnight, Yu couldn't help but check the Midnight Channel anyway and saw Rise on the screen. At school on Friday, Enforcer confirmed Rise's disappearance, but the radar at the base did not detect her being thrown into the Midnight Channel. Deciding that it would be safe to check, Yu suggested that everyone look into the Midnight Channel today and they agreed. Once there, Teddie complained about being left alone and after comforting him, Yu established the Star Social Link with him. Yu then gave Teddie Rise's bios and the bear read it. Events then returned to the present.
Saki noticed that there was a sign right next to the way in that said, "Patrons, please be advised that the dress code is strictly enforced by the barrier." and then she noticed a green-ish hue to the doorway. When the team went in, they found a skeletal figure wearing a Tibetian tunic waiting for them.
"You idiots fell for it, hook, line, and sinker! Rise's not in here! In fact, she was never thrown into this so-called Midnight Channel! Now I get to kill you!" the skeleton said.
"Please tell us who are you." Saki pleaded.
"Well, since Miss Saki here asked nicely, I'll tell you my name before I kill you all! My name is Turdak of the Jester Arcana! Now is when you shall DIE!"
Turdak immediately unleashed a Crazy Chain attack that knocked Saki down and enraged Kou. The skeleton then casted Tarukaja on itself.

Yu has Rakshasa Focus while Saki got back up and sapped some of Turdak's health with Stamina Drain. Minako used a sedative on Kou, who then had Raiju cast Zionga on the skeletal foe, who retaliated with a Power Slash. Yu then unleashed a Brain Shake that criticaled and allowed for an All-Out Attack that seriously injured Turdak. Saki guarded and Minako then used a Fatal End attack that also did a good bit of damage as Kou punched Turdak. The skeleton then used Marakunda, which Yu responded to by Power Charging. Saki took more of Turdak's health with another Stamina Drain, then Minako finished off the skeleton with Megido.
Seeing that Turdak was dead and gaining quite a bit of experience and 35000 yen from the battle, the team went back to the entrance and then left after telling Teddie that Rise was not inside the dungeon and changing back into their school uniforms except for Saki.
A/N: Yeah, Marie was out of character in this chapter. She is going to return to this flirty personality after the Culture Festival in October. Also, the Velvet Room is somewhat bizarre as it can and will shift appearances for individual guests, sometimes depositing them in a Velvet Room variation that is different from what they are used to such as any room in a strip club, a laboratory, master bedroom, even a power plant's generator room.
