OKAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAY… first things first! (I'm the realist :P Kidding, I'm not really…) Um, SORRY that I took forever to put this up! I truly feel bad – I neglected this story! But I had a real lack of inspiration – I just all of a sudden lost interest in anything to do with SP. I LOVE SP – but after DOTL, I didn't feel like writing any Skulduggery Pleasant related stuff (You have no IDEA how hard it was for me to finally write this)

Without further ado…. Here it is!

Epilogue

"Are you kidding me," she muttered at her partner.

"No, absolutely not. I think she's quite attracted at me, I think that you're just jealous Valkyrie," Skulduggery replied, gesturing to the criminal in front them who was staring at Skulduggery with a dreamy expression on her face.

"I love you," she sighed at Skulduggery.

Valkyrie tilted her skull at him and turned her body completely toward him.

"You're angry at me," he said with a smile in his voice.

"Jeez Skulduggery we're here to arrest this vampire chick for the murder of Ravel aren't we? So let's get on with it," she paused, "Now that I mention that treacherous bastard, Ravel, I'm wondering why we're even arresting this chick. Technically, killing Ravel was a good thing."

Skulduggery took his gaze off of the female vampire and turned to her, "I think you're forgetting the fact that she also went on a rampage and killed 10 other innocent mortals."

She tilted her skull in a frown, "Oh."

"Oh indeed, but really, I still think you're jealous that she has a crush on me," he grinned.

"No! How could you suggest that I be jealous!" she said and turned to the vampire, "Stop looking at my husband like that you little bitc-

"Valkyrie, I think she's gone," Skulduggery interrupted.

To Valkyrie's surprise, he was right. Crap.

"Okay," she said, "You go this way, and I'll go that way."

Skulduggery sighed, "In every single movie I've seen where they decide to split up, and they end up dying or getting captured."

"Yeah, but this is real life Skully wully! We're not going to get captured or killed, there's no one around and we're just too amazing to die," she said.

Skulduggery froze and tilted his head very slowly at her. She giggled as she knew what was coming.

"Valkyrie, how many times have I told you NOT to call me that," he growled at her. Yeah, the skeleton actually growled.

"Well I don't know SKULLY WULLY," she replied cheekily.

He sighed, "Don't say I didn't warn you."

She frowned, what the heck was he talking about.

"Skully wully I think you've a bit coo coo-

All of a sudden she was screaming and giggling, and jerking her body wildly. The bastard was tickling her!

"SKULL!" she scream giggled, "S-s-stop!"

"Not until you say that I'm the most handsome man to walk the planet," he said.

"NEVER!" she yelled, whilst still giggling like a maniac. His bony, tickling fingers didn't stop, in fact, they were probably tickling her faster.

"Say it!"

"NO!"

"Say it!"

"NO!"

"Say it!"

That was it, Valkyrie couldn't take it anymore.

"FINE I'll say it! Skulduggery is the most handsome man to walk the –

"What the hell are you guys doing?"

Skulduggery's fingers retreated and they both whipped up their heads at who was talking.

"Nyx! What are you doing here?" Valkyrie said.

"Answer MY question first. What on earth were you doing?" she asked with a perplexed look on her face.

"Well now," Skulduggery started before he was cut off by Valkyrie, who pointed her finger at Skulduggery accusingly.

"He refused to stop tickling me! It was defenceless!" Valkyrie exclaimed.

"Well, actually, it was you who decided to call me-

"Shush now," Valkyrie said.

"Um, Okaaaaaaaaay," Nyx said, "Just letting you know that we caught the criminal that you two were too distracted to chase."

"Oh," Valkyrie said, "Sorry."

Nyx shook her head, "Don't worry about it. I also came here to tell you that you two will both be taking a holiday together. You're going to travel around Europe! The Sanctuary has already bought plane tickets and good accommodation. You leave next Tuesday."

She then clapped her hands and exclaimed, "Isn't this exciting?!"

"Well this is very all of a sudden. Why may I ask, are Valkyrie and I suddenly going on vacation," Skulduggery asked.

"You guys haven't taken a break since you got married. Heck, you skipped your own honey moon to hunt down Kitana and her gang of power puff teenagers. You need a holiday, and you need to spend some time together, on your own. And not in any work environment," she said.

Valkyrie thought about this for a while and then tilted her head in a smile, "Yes, I think that would be a good idea."

Skulduggery's arm snaked around her waist, pulling her closer, "Thank you Nyx."

Nyx beamed, "I came up with the idea! You guys can go to Italy, and France, and Amsterdam and Belgium – ooh, make sure you buy me some chocolate from there too. This is SO exciting!"

Valkyrie laughed at her enthusiasm and excitement. Untangling herself from Skulduggery's grip, she stepped forward and almost suffocated her in the hug she gave her.

"Thank you for this," she whispered in Nyx's ear, whose cheeks immediately blushed.

"Don't worry about it," she said, "Besides, he's been distracting you waaaay too much."

Skulduggery then joined in with their hug, something he rarely did, causing Nyx's smile to widen.

One week later….

"I can't believe it Skulduggery! We're finally on the plane! We're going to France!" Valkyrie exclaimed.

Skulduggery laughed beside her, "I know how you hate waiting, so impatient."

The whole time they had been waiting to board the plane, Valkyrie had complained nonstop about the extreme boredom that she was suffering of and not to mention the stinky man that sat opposite her.

She was so glad that they were finally on the plane.

She looked at Skulduggery, who was wearing a blond hair and blue eyed façade. She reached out and put her hand in his.

"I'm so happy right now," she said softly.

Skulduggery bent down and kissed her on the forehead, "Me too."

"When you first met me, did you ever think that one day in the future, we would be here, sitting on a plane, married, and going to France?" She murmured happily.

He laughed softly, "No Valkyrie, I didn't. But I am so glad that it has turned out this way, everything is so perfect right now."

She smiled and rested her head on his shoulder feeling happy, and content.
