Disclaimer: I don't own the rights to either FMA or Harry Potter, I'm pretty sure we knew that already, however.

Now that that's out of the way, sorry I haven't posted a new chapter in a while, but, I have found my Goblet of Fire book, and I'm most defiantly not dead, so, expect more chapters that have more events that are closer to the original story.

Besides that, I've been a bit busy recently with some things in my life, as well as raising a new dog I got a few months ago (yeah, now I have two dogs!), but, I'll do what I can to post more. Let's get this Chapter started!

Chapter 9: Cursing a Homunculus

As classes started becoming much more difficult and demanding, Envy and Pride did what they could to keep with what the Professors were saying, and completing homework when they weren't in private lessons with Dumbledore.

In one of Moody's classes, Moody announced that he would be putting the Imperius Curse on each of his students in turn, to demonstrate its power and to see whether they could resist its effects. Due to this, Envy was intrigued to see if it would effect Pride or him.

"But—but you said it's illegal, Professor," said Hermione as Moody cleared away the desks with a sweep of his wand, leaving a large clear space in the middle of the room. "You said—to use it against another human was—"

"Dumbledore wants you taught what it feels like," said Moody, his magical eye swiveling onto Hermione, while his normal eye looked over at the Homunculi, making both Envy and Pride confused.

"Wait...does he notice that Pride and I don't seem completely human? If so, how?" said Envy in his head, keep in eye contact with Moody until the Professor turned his normal eye to Hermione.

"If you'd rather learn the hard way—when someone's putting it on you so they can control you completely—fine by me. You're excused. Off you go." said Moody, pointing on gnarled finger toward the door.

Envy chuckled under his breath as Hermione went pink and muttered something.

Moody began to beckon students forward in turn and put the Imperius Curse upon them. Envy, Pride, and Harry watched as their classmates did the most extraordinary things under its influence.

When it was Envy's turn, he stayed as calm as he could, when Moody raised his wand and said, "Imperio!"

It was quite a strange feeling for Envy, however. All he heard was Moody's voice echoing his brain, saying, "Punch yourself repeatedly until you pass out,"

"No," said Envy in his head.

"Do it!" said the echoing voice.

"NO!" yelled Envy, now on the top of his lungs. Then, half a second later, Envy was free from the Imperius Curse.

"Impressive, Will. You're a surprisingly strong fellow," said Moody, half surprised, and half pleased. "Up next is Edward Elric."

"Be strong, and refuse to do whatever he says in your mind." whispered Envy in Pride's ear.

"...Okay..." said Pride, walking up to the middle of the room.

Moody raided his wand again and said, "Imperio!"

Envy kept an eye on Pride, he didn't make any movements or say anything. After a minute of total silence, Pride walked back to Envy. The Curse had been lifted once again.

"Looks like we got everyone. The only ones able to go through the Imperius Curse in this class was Harry Potter, Will Johnson, and Edward Elric. Really, I expected better..." said Moody. "Now you three outta be difficult to control."

After the class ended Moody, before Envy and Pride left the room, Envy took a look at Moody and thought, "Something seems...off...about this Moody character..." Then he left the room with Pride to go to their next class, Transfiguration.

Welp! That was the Chapter! By the way, I may do a QnA bonus chapter, where you ask me questions, and I'll leave an answer in a bonus chapter. Just remember, no questions that are too personal. Up next, here's what it was like when I was trying to get back into writing the story:

*When I tried to first get back into it months ago*:

Me: What to write? Hm...*Grabs book and reads a bit* I need a break...

Envy: What about us?

Me: I need a break for a while, Envy. You know that.

Envy: Just remember, finish the story...or I'll...

Me: Kill me? You do know I'm the puppet master of this story, right?

Envy: Sorry...

Me: It's fine, I do intend on finishing it, though.

*Months later*:

Me: *Reads the Book again* Ah ha! I know what to write! *Starts working on this Chapter*

Envy: About time!
