Baby Arizona

Chapter Fifteen

Enjoy.

Alice Point Of View

The week of the move went smoothly for everyone. Bella was fitting in perfectly with everyone in the family, and was fluently talking and playing with everyone. Jasper hadn't picked up one ounce of depression, or any other negative feelings from Bella since we'd been back. She was so excited about the move; Esme, her, and I were in charge of decorating which she couldn't wait to help with.

The first room for Bella to decorate was her own. "Okay Bella, what color do you want your room painted?" Esme asked her.

"I want to have two yellow walls, and two dark pink walls. And, and then I want hand prints all over them!" She said with a big smile.

"That is such a fun idea!" I agreed. We traveled to the store for decorations, Bella had dark hardwood floors and she picked out a circular gray rug that was very fluffy, along with multiple other rugs for around the house.

She wandered around the store and found beautiful metal and wooden wall decorations for everyone's rooms and the social rooms. She was so small she climbed up on one shelf and disappeared within. Esme and I giggled with her as she crawled around behind stuff. Bella got real quiet, then gasped. Soon she came crawling towards us dragging a medium sized box behind her, which was almost the same size as her.

I picked her up and sat her standing on the floor, and grabbed the box. She was smiling evilly. Inside the box were assorted vintage musical decorations, even a very extensive wall decoration made from piano keys. "These are for Edward, and the music room." Esme and I smiled.

"These are so perfect." Esme said. Bella smiled, she was so proud of herself. We were soon done with our shopping trip and Bella was excited to show Edward what she picked out for him.

After hanging everything up and laying the assorted rugs, moving in all the furniture that we had brought Bella ate her dinner and sat with everyone on the couch.

Even though none of the rugs matched they went together perfectly the house was warm and cozy. Bella didn't want to sleep in her room until it was painted and all finished so we had a movie night, and she slept on the couch. While see was asleep the boys painted the two yellow walls, and then the two pink walls. After they were dried we all took different colored paints, and coated our hands. We decorated the walls with our hand prints, expertly smearing our fingerprints ever so slightly.

We left equal amounts of bare spaces for Carlisle, and Bella's hands, it would be something they could do together to make more memories for her. Plus, Carlisle was her father after all. I texted Carlisle to ask him to wake Bella when he got home, Esme was going out of town to look for certain flowers to plant, Rose and Emmett were going to a hot springs near by and wouldn't be back until near the middle of the next day. Edward was traveling back to the old house for something he wouldn't tell me about, and Jasper and I were going to go shopping for Bella's and I's school uniforms.

It was going to be the first time ever that Jasper and I had to suppress our relationship in public. Emmett was portraying a senior, while Rose and Jasper would be junior's. Edward was going to be a sophomore, and I was going to have to be an eighth grader. Which I was soo looking forward to...

Carlisle Point of View

I got out of work at seven in the morning, and was home by seven fifteen. Bella was still peacefully curled up on the couch, so I proceeded to quietly make her breakfast. I plated her foo and scooped her up in my arms, bringing the blanket up right her. She squealed with a smile on her face, and giggled as she rubbed the sleep from her eyes.

"Good morning, my little princess." I smiled down at her.

"Morning." She said, as I sat her down in her chair. She stretched and started to swing her feet as she started to eat her pancakes and sausage. "Where is Edward? He almost always here when I get up."

"He is on a secret mission."

"Like Batman!?" She exclaimed.

I snorted, "Maybe, just maybe. He had to do something but wouldn't tell me what"

"Well, your the daddy."

"Yea, I am the daddy."

"And now your my daddy too." She said as she pushed her empty plate away. I smiled with the fact that she was accepting the adoption positively.

"Well, I have to show you something hun."

She smiled with excitement and started to climb down from her chair. I scooped her up and started up the stairs. Once we reached her room I sat her down in front of her closed door and covered her eyes. "Bella we have a job to do."

"What is our job?"

I pushed the door open, ushered her in, and uncovered her eyes. "We have to finish the family creation." She turned in a circle three times before stopping she had a smile on her face and tears in her eyes.

"It's so pretty, is everyone's hands up there?"

"Yep, the lime green is Emmett. Esme is the lavender, Rose is scarlet, and Alice is the light pink. Jasper is the baby blue, Edward is this one," I said while pointing to all of them. I couldn't quiet figure out the best word for Edward's color. It was similar to both gold, and copper. "Your hands are going to be orange, and mine will be silver."

She giggled as I put the paint on her hands the first time, saying it was cold. Some of the places she had to put her prints were higher then she could reach, so I carried her around letting her make her mark. Her little hands were shaky so there were only a few prints I had to smear myself when she wasn't looking. She managed to get some paint in her hair.

After our last prints, I scooped her up once more and took her to the bath. I sat on the floor ready to catch her if she slipped during her play time. I managed to start thinking about some case loads I would be leaving behind when she squealed just as bubbles landed in my hair. I grinned and reached in the tub, getting a whole handful of bubbles I put in her hair she giggled and splashed me. She giggled and we continued to play in the water, I was just as soaked as the floor, and rugs when she was tuckered out. I rinsed her off and wrapped her up in a towel placing her on the rug in the hall.

"Go get dried off and dressed, I have to clean this up." She giggled and ran off to Alice's room where she knew she'd always find clothes.
