The five made it back to the lair just as the sun was coming up over the Empire State Building.

"Well that was an adventure." Mikey grinned as they all entered the lair, exhausted, but pleased with themselves.

"My turtles," Master Splinter said as he came in. "I see that your mission was a success." He said, inclining his head to Tally, who returned the favor. "Glad to see that you are in one piece."

Tally smiled. "Glad to be in one piece," she agreed.

There was a contented silence before someone spoke up.

"Master Splinter can we tell her?" Donnie said.

"Can I tell her?" Mikey asked.

"No, let Sensei tell her." Leo said, waving a hand.

Tally looked at them all in confusion. "Tell me what?" she asked, suspicious grin gracing her face.

Master Splinter mirrored her smile. "I have decided that you will continue to train with us."

If it was possible, Tally's grin got wider. She scrambled and bowed to him.

"I'm honored Master Splinter," She said. "Thank you so much. I promise to train hard."

Splinter's ears twitched and he and the turtles exchanged a look.

"Yes," He agreed as Tally straightened up. "And to make sure of this, I think that it is best that you stay with us." He said. "We've arranged a room for you."

"I helped decorate it," Mikey grinned.

Tally's eyes widened and she looked the guys.

"You told him?" she asked, referring to her current home situation. Though she couldn't keep the smile off her face.

Raphael shrugged. "We had to Tally." He said, a slight apology in his tone. "It wasn't right for us to not."

"You're part of the family now." Leo agreed.

Tally let out a sob of relief she didn't know she was holding and ran to them, embracing them in a hug.

"I love you guys." She whispered. "Thank you for everything."

They hugged her back.

"Celebratory videogame tournament?" Mikey suggested.

"You're on Mikey!" Raph grinned, shoving his brother's head to the side as he jumped onto the couch.

"You guys are going down," Donnie called, running after the two. Leo grinned and followed suit.

"My sons, you are mistaken," Master Splinter called. "Because I will be taking you down."

Tally laughed and wiped her eyes, following her family.

This was the start of a new beginning for Tally. This was a family she could call her own after so long of not having one.

This was home.

Thank you all very much for sticking with me throughout this entire story. I'm glad I decided to rewrite Tally's story. I'm quite happy with the way it turned out, and I hope you enjoyed reading as much as I enjoyed writing it.

Until next time!
