"Another door?" a displeased sigh left Kuroko's lips. He wasn't the only one getting irritated with Hanamiya's games. Who did that insane bastard think they were?
Akashi stepped forward and with one swift movement opened the door and walked inside. The others obediently followed their leader.
It looked just the same as the other room before - large but empty. The purpose of these rooms was for them to fight, no doubt about that. The Generation of Miracles were pissed off by being played around like that. It was like a video game were they needed to defeat the minor characters before they could each the boss. It was ridiculous.
They heard footsteps approaching and instantly tensed up. All eyes were on a muscular, tall male with light brown hair approaching them. Aomine's, Kuroko's and Akashi's eyes narrowed, knowing full well what this man was capable of.
"I suppose you confront us with the knowledge that you will share the same fate as your comrade surely did?"
Akashi addressed their enemy seemingly calm, but there was a menacing tone apparent in his voice which didn't get pass anyone in the room. But the silent threat of 'Leave now and you might get out of this place alive' was lost on Yamazaki. He arrogantly raised his eyebrows in a challenging manner, daring them to show him what they would do if he didn't listen.
"You'll have to defeat me to proceed. Let's see you try."
Akashi had anticipated as much.
"Atsushi, if you may."
Murasakibara paused in his munching on his latest chocolate bar and sighed tiredly.
"Only cause it's Aka-chin..." he gobbled down the last of his food and licked his fingers. He had to get more of that once they were over and done with this.
He slowly walked forward and dumped the rest of his stuff in Midorima's hands, who had trouble holding such a mass of snacks.
Murasakibara stopped once he was standing several feet opposite his opponent.
"I am Hiroshi Yamazaki. Let's have a fair fight."
"I don't really care who you are..." was Murasakibara's uninterested response and he yawned lazily.
"Is that so? Then let's begin on three. One, two,-"
The moment the second number left Yamazaki's lips he broke out in a full run at his highest speed. A normal human being wouldn't have been able to follow such fast movements. He struck out with his leg and sent a quick but powerful and surely painful kick to Murasakibara's stomach.
A grin slowly forms on his lips, only to disappear seconds later as he paled in mortification. A hand grabbed his ankle were and held tightly on it.
"Is that the best you can do?" Murasakibara said dangerously, not a trace of the child-like nature the giant usually possessed.
"Then it's my turn now." Yamazaki grit his teeth as the grip on his ankle tightened to the point it almost snapped his bone. He tried to bread free but to no avail. He panicked when he felt how he lost his footing and was lifted up by the tall purple head in front of him. Moments later a strong fist connected with his jawline and Yamazaki briefly saw stars. he didn't have time to dwell on the pain in his face, however, as another fist hit his stomach. The sound of bones breaking could be heard and Yamazaki was whirled across the room by the force of the punch, crashing into the wall behind him and leaving a dent.
He fell onto his knees, weakly clutching his abdomen. Another kick sent him sprawling on the ground on his back, he breathed heavily.
"Should I snap your neck while I'm at it?" Murasakibara said threateningly and loomed over him. Pure fear washed across Yamazaki's face and he tried to somehow get away, but a foot on his stomach stopped him and he groaned in pain.
"Good work, Atsushi." Akashi smirked down at the pathetic excuse of a opponent. he hadn't even survived five minutes against Murasakibara. This scum was supposed to stop them? Ridiculous.
"Now, won't you let us through? We would consider letting you live if you cooperate." he smiled down at Yamazaki coldly and added just the slightest bit of pressure with his foot and enjoyed the pained expression on his face.
"A-Alright. I'll...give you the key..." he reached towards his pocket, rummaging around for the key that would open the next door for the Generation of Miracles.
But...something felt off. It was a gut feeling, something told Akashi not to trust this guy. When he was about to voice his thoughts it was already too late.
"Bastard, like I'd give the key to the likes of you!" he retracted his closed hand from his pocket before throwing a sand like substance at Akashi. It was too late for the redhead to move away and even though he tried to to shield himself with his arms it was a futile attempt.
"What the fuck!? Akashi?!"
"Are you alright, Akashi-kun?!"
"Akashi!"
Murasakibara sent another kick to Yamazaki and pinned him down, this time on his stomach so he wouldn't be able to pull another stunt like that.
Midorima had already moved towards Akashi, inspecting his face for any changes. Nothing.
"Akashi, do you feel weird anywhere? Does it hurt?" everyone sent worried looks at his leader, anxiously waiting for the redhead to speak up.
"No...I seem to be fine." Akashi said slowly and sent a quick, reassuring smile at his family. The others released a breath they hadn't realized they were holding. Thank god.
The smile vanished from Akashi's lips soon after and he furiously glared down at the sly bastard.
"You just lost your only chance at survival. We'll get the key even without you telling us. Farewell."
"N-No...! Please - I beg you! Let me live!"
A dry laugh left Akashi's lips and an uncaring smirk made its way onto his lips.
"Too late."
A/N: I had to write this chapter two times because once my computer just shut off and another time my goddamn browser just shut down. I swear to god I was so frustrated I almost didn't want to write this up again. I'm so glad I'm finally done with this godforsaken chapter!
